E|Sport (Eudora Sport) was launched in 2015 and, as its name says, it sought to reach the public that practices sports frequently (indoor or outdoor), bringing more freshness and energy. The perfumer responsible for the fragrance was Jean Jacques, who for more than two decades worked at Takasago and took over the traditional house of Parfums Caron, in early 2020. He combined notes of lemon, mint, ginger, and an exclusive O2 accord on the top of the olfactory pyramid. For the body of the fragrance, he chose violet leaves, cardamom, rosemary, and sage. In the base, he brought notes of cedar, musk, vetiver, and the famous accord of the brand called Segredo de Eudora (Eudora’s Secret). E|Sport is a delight in terms of quality and development! It brings together everything that is expected in a sportive fragrance but does not overuse oceanic notes, respecting the Brazilian male audience, who is known for preferring aromatic fragrances. When sprayed, it is citrusy, light, and juicy. Almost a sweet lemonade! The ginger note amplifies the sensation of freshness and the mint brings cooler nuances. The evolution is very subtle, but there is a brief moment when the violet leaves and the cardamom note collide with the aromatic profile of sage and, above all, rosemary (it was quick, but it was strange). Even so, it is nothing that can compromise the overall performance. By drying, the citrus and green aspect remains and E|Sport gains extra life with the white musk and its cleansing nuances, in addition to vetiver, nothing earthy in here. When it comes to fragrances aimed at the sports segment, there are few options that really please and, more importantly, that last on the skin. Obviously, I don't rate a Sport perfume hoping that the fragrance will last for eight hours or more, as the composition is usually more volatile and I also believe that everyone takes a shower after exercise, however long it takes. Even so, E|Sport surprises positively and remains effortless for five hours. And depending on the body temperature, it even continues exuding. Eudora managed to bring an excellent perfume to the market, on the same level as Armani Code Sport Athlete and L’Eau D’Issey Pour Homme Sport, for instance. Undoubtedly, one of the best sportive fragrances, not only in recent years but in recent decades. Unfortunately, the company also managed to kill the party by discontinuing this product. A sin without forgiveness!
