Whisky Red

Red is the color of fire and blood, so it is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, the determination as well as passion, desire, and love. Red is a very emotionally intense color. Whisky Red was a great discovery, and among all the Whisky options, this is the one I like the most. Its spiritual redolence takes me to New York City, a gentleman walking on an autumn night in Central Park, a breeze blowing through wet wood bringing the last roses blooming scent. It opens up with a gentle touch of spicy, sweet, and floral bergamot supported by a blast of bitter galbanum mingled with juicy apple, which lasts a few minutes before the minty and balsamic green cardamom kicks in. The bright opening is citrus, with a whisper of fresh spicy and fruity accord. The heart is mysterious, softly woody, odorous, the cedar is tempered by the floral touch of masculine blue lavender blooms and damask rose petals, the resulting aroma is a kind of like oriental, yet the rose is silent and not so sumptuous as in the Arabian men's scents. Whisky Red gets now an emotional vibe, more sensual, and elegant, with a warm spicy and sweet harmony. And then comes the drydown, balsamic as a Turkish hammam, smoky as a burning incense, mossy as a wet oak lichen, luscious as a custard cream. The base notes can be surely recognized one by one, the rooty vetiver in its smoky facet, the resinous Peru balsam, the sweetly roasted tonka, and the pungent and bitter oakmoss. Meseems Whisky Red is fitting for colder seasons, fall, winter, till early spring, preferably for a night out, a dinner with friends, a nightly walk downtown. Both longevity and sillage are moderate, conceivably most of the valuable components are synthetics considering the ridiculous price of a 100ml bottle, merely 10 more euro. In my opinion, this cologne is closely akin to YSL La Nuit de l'Homme, they share the same vibe with a delicate touch of rose added in Whisky Red. Red is the color of the silent rose's petals.

Great smell and longevity is around 3-6 hours depending on the weather. It’s nearing the end of summer here in Australia. My wife rated this smell 9/10 on me. I personally think it smells really nice. I haven’t smelt YSL but a lot of reviews say it’s smells identical to it. It can be worn all year round, day and night. I think it would smell even better in cooler months. Big fan of Evaflor Whisky. I own Silver, Black Ops and Red. They smell really good and get compliments from them Edited: I wore it today at work 12 hour shift and I was getting whiffs of it for 9 hours!! I did total 10 sprays. 2 behind each ear, 2 back of neck, 1 on each shoulder 2 on chest. I highly rate this fragrance.. how it changes through the day is beautiful. Starts off very clean and fresh, later it drys into this very masculine woody spice

This stuff is AMAZING! A guy that I've been frequently swapping fragrances with surprised me with a bottle of this, and I couldn't be more thrilled with it. It smells SO close to YSL La Nuit de L'homme, but honestly, better, in my opinion. It honestly smells just as high-end as La Nuit, it projects better, AND IT LASTS LONGER! No joking! If you like La Nuit De L'homme, try this before you buy your next bottle. You might just save yourself $50 or more. And before you sample it, just make sure not to judge it by its bottle. I know, I know, the bottle is tacky and cheap, but the fragrance inside is truly phenomenal! SO TRY IT! Plus it's only $16 right now, so you really can't lose either way, but I'm quite convinced that just about anyone who wears La Nuit will see this as a perfectly suitable replacement.

How does it smell like: "If you give powerful steroids to YSL la Nuit de L'homme == Whisky Red" Portrait of a man wearing it: "A sexy and charming guy wearing the latest fashion outfits in wintertime with a really adorable smile on his face and girls have numerous reasons falling for him including the way he smells like." It has coriander but you will get peppery as well as cinnamony vibes with some sexy rose in it. An absolutely amazing and a better alternative to the latest reformulated and extremely poor performing la Nuit from YSL. And, look at the price guys, this is simply mind-blowing. Good stuff guys, check it out.

Amazing frag for the price definitely close to YSL L'nuit with a touch of rose to it . Will be picking it up real soon , performance is not great (nor are the new YSLs) so for <10 USD i can't ask for more. This could be the cheapest YSL substitute IMO.

This is 95% similar to YSL LNDL (which I own). 2 hours longevity on paper. After 1 hour, some notes dissipate and the scent is only like ~80% similar to YSL LNDL. Only real utility of this is for gym or to enjoy at home considering the shyte performance. Regardless, nice work Evaflor :) I recommend their Whisky Black Op which is a 90+% clone of Dior Sauvage with 9 hours longevity on paper, on-par with Maison Alhambra Salvo (non-intense version). I bought this to see how similar to YSL la nuit it is. superficially there's a resemblance. For me his won't do. The sexy musk base and round cardamom fruitiness of la nuit are missing. This isn't a masterpiece, and it's not bad. Centered on tonka bean, some woods, apple, bits of lavender, fake rose, fake oakmoss. it's a pleasant enough scent with low lasting power.

This has the cardamom opening bite of LNDL 100 % dialed in, which also stays for a while, longer than LNDL thats for sure. It does feel sensual, introverted. This has however more of a focus on sweetness and some freshness coming for a rose like accord, and also dont expect the bergamot drydown and the light body odor stink of the original here.

Checked this one on stores so many times. Now gonna try this. Believe me it reminds YSL L' nuit.. Superb, Elegant and staying power is good. Much much better than expensive dull brands. Price is so cheap and i just love it..

The perfume is great.. Has a very good mix of woody and fresh spicy ingredients. And lasts long too . Only the bottle and the cap is boring . If you transfer the content into a stylish bottle.. It becomes the "Bees Knees"
