Whisky Silver

The opening might come across cheap but the drydown of this is the most beautiful fragrance I know and the only one I'd call eternal because it sticks on fabrics for months if not years. I could still smell it from my camera strap I hadn't used maybe in a year or longer. Only the last notes, few wafts suddenly appearing seemingly out of nowhere now and then. Despite that it's an edt for men, as a woman I couldn't find anything that would suit me better than this and got a few compliments as well. My biggest surprise is that it reacts well both with water and my sweat and releases exactly those notes I love. I have to say that I generally have a problem to find an edt or edp that would work with my skin this well. I tried to compare it with Aqua di Gio and I get the similarity in the cedar note but Aqua di Gio lacks that heavenly drydown and is definitely too masculine for me. *Talking about the batch from many years ago, 2014 or 2015. I don't know what is Evaflor Whisky Silver like now.

This is the cheapest perfume in my collection but it has also gotten the most compliments. Just spray on heavily and it has decent longevity. Some batches have exceptionally horrible opening but I think that's common with cheapies. I tend to go nose blind to it for the first half hour or so but my friends always notice it and I get compliments for the first three hours or so.

This is the very first perfume I ever bought with my on money. Wayy Wayy back. For Rs 250. Now it's around Rs 1500. Keeping my personal memories aside, this is a pretty decent fragrance... I don't think anyone would regret buying it for the price.

People love this perfume and it gets a lot of compliments. Very clean fragrance. Blind buy at first based on reviews, but now this is the 3rd time i'm buying. Absolutely love this fragrance.

Seawater + Citrus + moss = Acqua di Gio, only Whisky Silver Evaflor base sweeter. Unlike Armani is worth a penny. Ideal for the summer season.

In my late teens, early 20's this was my signature fragrance. Probably this was my most complimented fragrance ever.

Surprisingly nice & smooth, definitely similar to Acqua di Gio, maybe not the exact same but it's surely inspired by that timeless classic from Armani. For the price it's available for here in France (approx 10 -15€) it's a decent purchase, on the lower end of average for performance perhaps but still good for the price and for this type of scent (citrus/floral/aquatic). Update March 2024; For a fresh fragrance this actually has good lasting power for me, especially on clothing and it does project well too in my opinion, well worth the low price I paid.

Although, very light, on heavier application, has a very good longevity. Certainly reminds us of Acqua Di Gio and is very sweet on the drydown. For the price, is worth a try.

aqua di gio - dry down its one million

This scent smells like fresh linen.(DO Not BLIND BUY). Scent: 5/10

I received this as a gift. From first spray it's obvious that this is just gonna be a harsh chemical concoction trying to mimic some of Acqua Di Gio saltiness and freshness. But it failed. Even with better ingredients I don't see the point of wearing such a clone fragrance. You may fool some constricted noses but really nothing more.

I know that sometimes it seems annoying to pay attention to the value of a perfume by talking about its old formula, but I have to do this because in its 2003-2004 version, when I first bought it, it was and was one of the best that I used, dare I say, on the same level as the niche house. It did not have the same flavor as Aqua di Gio, but the same olfactory impact. A fresh floral scent, extremely fine, clean, with a breathtaking performance, 18-20 h on the skin. On clothes it was felt after a week. If we leave the shirt hanging on a chair, the fragrance of the Perfume was felt at 2-3 m distance. The same quality and performance had Whisky and Double Whisky. All at a price of max 10 E. It is a pity that today they are only a shadow of what they were. Silver does not even retain the old flavor, it appears in a worn form and much more sterile. Recommendation for purchase? Just for nostalgia.

OMG, it smells just like the Acqua di Gio but the drydown is different, but not way too different. The sea water is very prominent, more prominent than Acqua di gio I'm thinking. Fresh - Aquatic - Greens - Moss - Powdery? Longevity and sillage are moderate. I walked past people and they could still smell it couple hours later. You can wear it as "Aqua Di Gio", I bet it easily passes of as one. The only way you can tell they're different is when you spray one on each arm and smell the dry down. A poor man's Acqua di Gio is Evaflor Whisky Silver, I'm not dissapointed with the projection and longevity cause I got this for a fraction of the ADG's price and it's worthy plenty. For better longevity and Sillage, wear both, the deodorant (it's dirt cheap) and the EDT.

Evaflor Whisky silver is very nice opening I didn't sniffed aqua did jio till now but Whisky silver opens up with awesome lemon and floral notes and after few minutes I got clean aquatic note and in the dry down slight woody note. But if u spray this in your skin, you going to get only two hours of longevity after that no smell at all. This is a fabric performer scent if u spray it in your clothes it will last for six hours so best used in clothes. we can't expect performance in skin as because it's very cheap. Must buy clean citrus and aquatic fragrance for summer

I got a bottle today I wear it ... it reminds me perry ellis 360 red.... in my nose its perry ellis 360 red yes it is.let it set for 5 min and let me know

Bought this after 15 years. Evoked a lot of memories. Sadly reformulated. It was pure nostalgia but just for the first couple of minutes.

Lightest scent I have ever used. Very poor sillage & projection. Not worth the buy.
