Lust in Paradise Extrait

I’m a huge ex nihilo lover (it’s probably my all time favorite house), and I have (or have had) various versions of Lust in Paradise but this is my absolute favorite. As much as I love the original, it can come off a little bit sharp. The extrait has everything that the other versions is missing. I absolutely love the little bit of sweetness without being nauseating. I wore it last night to an outdoor party and got three compliments and I can still smell it on me this morning. I did have to over spray (about 25-30 sprays). I think this would be appropriate any time of year/day if you like florals. I’d also say this is different enough to own both, if you have the original. I have the original Fleur Narcotique and the Extrait and I can’t tell the difference between those, but that’s not the case with Lust in Paradise.

First and foremost, this is different enough from the EDP to justify having both. If Lust In Paradise is your all-weather, all occasions gorgeous fruity floral, the extrait is her amped up, sexy sister. The soft sweetness of peony in the EDP is cleverly dialled up here with rose and rosyfolia, then deepened and sweetened by jasmine and blackcurrant, while cedar wood gives some base to it all. The end result is a perfume that feels totally in line with the original, while also giving you something different that's not just "stronger" than the original, but *more*. I've taken to wearing the EDP during the day and the extrait at night when I'm going out for both, and I absolutely love how this punches things up before I head out again.

Omg these reviews! The Delina comparisons happen every time there’s a new rose scent. Not every rose fragrance is Delina!!! If you’re smelling rose and immediately assuming it’s Delina, chances are that’s simply the only sweet rose fragrance you’re truly familiar with. There are countless rose centered perfumes, each with its own character and composition. It might be time to broaden your olfactory palate a little. A rose accord ≠ Delina. In other news this is simply the best fragrance of 2026, imma have to come back to review this. I currently don’t have the words to describe how stunning this is. 100000/10!!

Louise Turner keeps teasing us with fragrances parallel to La Perla Possibilities and honestly, I’m not complaining. I love the sweet rose/woody/ambrofix DNA so Im here for it. The EDP has that airy, almost sheer quality which keeps it bright, slightly fruity, and effortlessly wearable in warmer weather. This extrait, by contrast, leans into depth. It has a denser, more substantial presence, with a richer woody dry down that gives it a more grounded, unisex feel. Where the EDP reads like a luminous summer floral, this version feels ultimately more at home in cooler weather. All in all, this is a win for me.

I love it. It's a 10/10. But I have to say; I prefer the EDP. It's more unique. The extrait leans alot into PDMs Delina profile. (I own Delina, Delina Exclusive, Lust in paradise EDP and In Paradise) The opening is like Lust in Paradise EDP...The mid is almost identical to Delina, then it finishes back to EDP. I didn't find any increase is sillage or longevity. The sillage might even be slightly less. The EDP is awesome in sillage. Like I said, this is a 10, but it has traded its uniqueness for Delina mass appeal. I'll be sticking to the EDP

Immediate FB purchase after decant testing... stunning, stunning, powerhouse of a fragrance. The rose notes really jump out on my skin and the base warms up sooo beautifully. Incredible sillage and longevity with just a few sprays and I have what I consider “challenging” skin chemistry (I am an oversprayer and have to hold back, 4 sprays max!). It’s dethroned Atomic Rose as my BF’s date night favorite, which I never thought would happen lol Expensive? Absolutely, but given all of its characteristics, worth the price tag.

If you like the original version, you will like this too. There is nothing to dislike about this. However, if you LOVE the original version like me, you might find the Extrait lacking in something. In my opinion, the creamy yet wonderfully fresh peony and sparkling, spacious litchi were all the magic, I find myself missing it in the Extrait. I loved that dewy freshness, here we get a more rounded, sweeter rose/currant vibe. I am enjoying it immensely either way, an absolutely beautiful perfume from Ex Nihilo.

ive had the og lust in paradise in a travel size. I like to layer it, but never loved it enough for it to stand on its own because there’s a slight pickle note I can’t get over when I smell it. this extrait fixed that issue. no more pickles, just straight juicy floral fruity bliss! I understand the delina comparison but to me this is everything delina wishes she was. I layered it with blue talisman extrait and cannot stop smelling myself. OOWEE ❤️🔥

I first smelled this a few weeks ago and thought yeah it’s nice but nothing special, better than the og for my taste. But I kept coming back to my sample again and again because it’s actually quite beautiful. It drew me in and the scent lingers for hours. Yes it’s rose forward but nothing like any of the Delinas. Just because it has rose doesn’t make it a Delina imitation, this feels much smoother and creamier and slightly musky and I love it

From the very first spray, I fell in love with this scent. I literally can't stop sniffing it. I'm not usually a fan of strong and sweet fragrances but this one is the exception! It's fruity, floral, and woody — rich without being overpowering, incredibly well-balanced. I've found that it smells best on skin, where you can really appreciate all its layers. From a distance, the sweetness stands out, but the other notes fade a bit.

Has to be my favorite of the Lust series... and I’ve had them all. It’s denser... less peony (thank goodness) and just overall feels more exotic, exciting, and sensual. The other flankers felt more commercial. In fact, I’d say many flankers from Ex Nihilo feel that way to me. But this... no... it’s yummy... smooth.. creamy... floral... fruity... dense and totally unique. Applause 👏 👏 .

I blind bought this. I’m a guy, and although I’m gay, I first thought it was way too feminine, at least on the test strip. But today I have it oh my skin and holy moly it’s SO good. Not overly feminine at all. It’s floral forward but not overpowering. To me it’s just a gorgeous fresh and floral scent. Will definitely be rocking this all spring and summer!

The best Ex Nihilo yet, yummy combination of rose, fruits and woody notes. It’s unique, yet could be labeled as mass appealing, but in the best way possible. To say im in love is an understatement, and I own a curated selection of some of the best niche perfumes out there. Better than the OG by far.

Everything I dreamed the EDP would be! If you like the EDP, this is stronger, juicier and contrary to the notes, not overly rosy. It stays true to the original DNA with everything amped up, especially the projection. It's not as airy in scent, and the performance reflects this

I absolutely fell in love with this. I love the tart berry effect. I got a sample from ZGO Perfumery and on the very next day, I had to have a full bottle. LOVE LOVE LOVE YES it is hyper effeminate. I am super good with that. AND it does NOT smell like Delina.

This smells much better and longer lasting than the original. The original has a sharp pepper smell that stays throughout, this has pepper but it's muted. The opening is sweeter and fruitier than the edp. The dry down is a fresh/ salt water/ floral smell.

This is so stunning and so French... I'm in LOVE. LOUISE!! You did it again. This is my first 10 minutes of smelling on skin, so I'll report back after a true test but WOW first impression is INSANE.

I see the comparisons to Delina, atomic Rose and Empadia but, I think Lust in Paradise Extrait is much more elevated. The rose is subtler and there is a warmth that those others don’t have.

light, spiky touch of sophisticated florals blended with blackcurrant leaf and airy evening haze. melts into the skin as powder, to my nose it feels like powdery veil on soapy rose

If I have to choose only one perfume for the rest of my life, I would choose this cause its so beautiful and long lasting even for just a one spray
