Fan di Fendi pour Homme Acqua

This is a fantastic (maybe the best in my opinion) aquatic scent. I've been wearing it for the last 4 or 5 years, and I can't believe how far under the radar this juice is. It has an absolutely unique, but very non-offensive and balanced smell that I would describe as lightly sweet-musky-citrusy-peppery lol. That probably sounds like a mess, but it smells well-blended and fantastic. It's not a projection monster, but the longevity is great. It's fairly linear, but that's ok, because I love the opening. The quintessential summertime fragrance, it shines when the heat is on. Because of the peppery accords, you can actually get away wearing it when it cools down a bit too because it's never cloying like some other aquatics can be. I've tried all the big boys from Chanel, Polo, D and G, Dior, YSL - none of them compare to me in terms of a great warm weather scent. Given then fact this stuff is dirt cheap, you can't get hurt blind-buying in my opinion. Of all my colognes, including some of the heavy hitters, this is my wife and daughter's favorite too - so there's that :)

I absolutely love Fan Di Fendi Pour Homme, which is a hugely underrated aromatic-leather fragrance for gentleman, that the ladies also love. So I picked-up both Assoluto and Acqua a couple years back since the original was so great. However, I am not a big Summer/Aquatic genre fan (most just don't work well on my skin or in my nose) so I finally removed the shrink-wrap from my bottle just this morning. While not ground-breaking and somewhat generic and linear, I was surprised at how much I liked this scent. This flanker smells almost nothing like the original, but Acqua has a fresh, playfulness that is much more appropriate for the warm Summer days at work or at play. Performance was also pretty solid for an aquatic in that is lasts a solid 7-8 hours and projects moderately on my skin. Overall, I find Fan di Fendi Pour Homme Acqua to be a solid like and a pleasant surprise.

I bought this fragrance last spring and this review is long overdue. I am going to start off by saying I am not a huge fan of aquatics although the few I have in my collection have their own flair. This one is no different. This is not headache inducing nor does it project too much. The leather note is very noticable about 20 minutes into wearing it. I cant wait to bring this out when the weather gets warmer. Fendi is a house that should be more noticed in the community. This is a great blind buy!!! Rating 8.5/10

I love this fragrance, a very green yet refreshing aquatic, with light nuances of leather in the background. Very different from all the other blue freshies of today. Not the best performing blue aquatic in existence, but it can be resolved by over spraying. However there are a few fragrances that fall in the same vein as this one, but you won’t smell like your average frag head. Give it a try if you can, for it is discontinued. I received this fragrance today and as I'm wearing it now it doesn't seem like a aqua scent,it has great longevity and smells alot like the original but wit just more aquatic notes and has a watermelon type smell but the dry down smells like the original,overall a nice scent that could be pulled off all year around cause it performs and projects way above average,i give this frag a 8 out 10 cause it's original and nothing smells like it

I know fragrance is highly subjective and opinion, but the comparison of this to Creed Erolfa is ridiculous. I own this, and Erolfa, they are both fresh, aquatic scents, that's it. This is different, spicy and leathery. There's no leather in Erolfa, which is one of a few differences that made me leave my two cents on the matter. This is a really nice scent that I just wouldn't compare to Erolfa.

This is a solid release, its not perfect, and it is good, aquatic, floral, leathery, performs very well, its very new, there is nothing that smells like this actually, which is enough to admire because over 90% of thr new releases are flankers or scents that are not very original. This is a very modern scent.

I must agree with the negative reviews for Fan di Fendi Homme Acqua. It is nothing out of this world to say the truth. It is a clone to many other aqua scents in the market. I find it boring and fades away after 1 hour. The bottle looks nice on my shelf though.

Tested it today, It's absolutely fresh but in very very elegant way, and it last long, it's obvious a Spring Summer Morning Breeze Fragrance ,never smelled something like it before, it's new, very elegant , diffently recommended .

Don't agree with the 'generic' comments. To me this is a unique aquatic scent that's sophisticated. The pepper in this one makes it really masculine.

I get a sample of Creed Erolfa a few days ago and immediately remaining something on my collection.... and yes sir, is Fendi Acqua!

I like all of Demachy's creations. It is very different then I thought it would be tho. I love Pour Homme just a little more

Fan di Fendi Pour Homme Acqua is a weird scent. It is entirely an aquatic leaning flanker to Fan di Fendi Pour Homme but there is a lot more going on with it. It is like an aquatic D&G The One for Men but also has some of the deodorant vibe Montblanc Legend Spirit has and some Sun Java White Men to it. Fan di Fendi Acqua has a few notes that stick out. In the open, it is largely a citrus aquatic. It then goes into another Montblanc Legend Spirit feel with cardmon and pink pepper heavy mid, that said it holds into the D&G The One for Men with the basil note. The base is entirely Montblanc Legend Spirit especially with the musk heavy deodorant vibe mixed with some leather. Fan di Fendi Acqua peforms really good. It is a nice but a little bit on the lighter side similar to Legend Spirit. That said, the longevity is really good on it at about 10 hours. For the price, this is a really good pick-up. Fan di Fendi Acqua has a lot of uses. It is good to use from spring to fall in casual, work and even date settings. It is common but not common enough to be a problem. I would rate Fan di Fendi Pour Homme Acqua a 7.8 out of 10. It is nice and unique but to me it can go a little too under the radar.

Fendi Acqua is like a grab bag of somewhat decent aqua fragrances of late. What you have is a well rounded scent of that genre, possibly one of the better in a generally ill received category of fresh marine inspired colognes. I detect elements of Davidoff Silver Shadow Altitude along with a good dollop of Ocean Wet Wood and a sprinkling of Allure Homme Sport Extreme in this mix. The latter being one of my favorites and Fendi Acqua is a better blended more interesting brew. I would go so far as to say it is almost like an edp version of Ocean Wet Wood. Projection is impressive as is longevity, lasting a full 8 hours and more with just 2 sprays. Full bottle worthy if purchased at a good price. Not bad in what it delivers. One of the better aquas. 7.5/10

If you want a cheap, good smelling scent for the spring/summer this is the one for you. Fan di Fendi Acqua lasts quite long for an aquatic fragrance. It just smells a little generic for me. Has a fresh, citrus smell but reminds me of something from the department store. Not very original. Probably more of a daytime scent but I can imagine wearing this fragrance during warm summer nights Scent 7/10, it smells good but it's nothing memorable Projection/Sillage 7/10 Longevity 9/10 For the price, you can't beat it, if you are looking for a cheap summer fragrance. I prefer Versace Man Eau Fraiche though for warmer temps.

This is the regular version with a little "fresh" ingredients thrown in the top for a little while. So whereas the original has pink peppercorn, cardamom and woody notes this one has citrus and marine notes; however the leather comes in at the same time with both fragrances so this is fresh-leather-woody, while the other is a spicy-leather-woody. Just exchange the top notes. I will say this is probably the same to the original as aqua Fahrenheit is to the original Fahrenheit. I like it but I like the original also. This will stand head and shoulders above every other "acqua" that's for sure.

I bought it based on the reviews. The best part are the top notes that are brilliant, oceanic, despite a bit artificial. The bottle is also beautiful. After 30 minutes you get a very common scent. It was a deception to observe that longevity (in summer) isn't long as some people said. Sillage is also very modest. This scent has absolutely no relation with aqua fahrenheit, YSL homme Libre or Wet Wood. It's much closer to generic cheap fresh scents. I think the 'Aqvas' perfumes from Bvlgari have the advantage of originality, besides they also suffer from relatively low longevity.

A nice sweet smelling aquatic. Its very light and doesn't really project that well and spends most of the total performance time as a skin scent. I got about a total of 7 hours out of this and that was about 10 sprays which was the whole decant. Its great for casual outings, but if you are looking for something similar with better projection and performance try the stuff out of the Aqua Bvlgari line. I think Aqva Marine and Atlantique do a better job at performance/projection than Fendi does,but that doesn't mean this wasn't a good fragrance. It just kinda faded away quickly

I bought this as a gift for my brother-in-law as a Christmas gift this year because my sister told me he liked Aquatic scents. Shopping for it was difficult because my husband and I are both fond of leathery, dark woody, or spicy for men's fragrances. This one was the only one that didn't offend my senses. Maybe it is the soft underpowering leather adding a nice balance. It reminded me of the salty ocean after rainfall, and the citrus notes are blended perfectly not to overwhelm or draw away from the clean musky notes. I get no woody notes. A nice aqua.

Perfeito para ir ao barbeiro num dia solarengo. Aquático, fresco, cheiro a lavado e a colônia de homem adulto. É um cheiro algo datado mas ainda prazeroso como um guilty pleasure. Não compromete pq é fresco e limpo! Uma espécie de after-shave com muita qualidade e viciante. Quando apanho a nuvem, dá a sensação que acabei de sair do barbeiro com o cabelo e barba cortados. Gosto!

Will add my review later, but just wanted to let you all know I have never come across an aquatic fragrance with more longevity in my life. On my skin it is a bit too musky for my taste, but in general this fragrance has an 80s powerhouse like lifespan that blows most of its predecessors out of the water.

Easy unoffensive dumb reach type of frag. I'm going to try to use up most of the bottle next couple of months since there are so many blue fragrances I want to go through already. I like it, and I'll enjoy it, but won't buy it again. Update: Just smelt Creed Erolfa. Yeah, very similar.

Hi. I tried Fendi pour homme and i tried this. P.h. is less citrusy and in the dry down, leather and wood are very intense. Water,besides being fresher,has in the dry down,a strong sweet musk that dominates the leather and the cedar.

Very smooth and soft aquatic scent. Very wearable but I see no similarities with YSL L'homme Libre nor with Aqua Fahrenheit. 7/10

I'm not too crazy about blue fragrances but I like this and I think this is more better than Acqua Di Gio Profondo. 8.5/10

Smells good but quite generic.

nothing special ,so ordinary, there is a lot of fragrances better and stronger with low price, it's sad acqua like Fan di Fendi pour Homme in disappointment. sorry to the lovers for both but i don't find any thing special and specific .a lot like it and a lot better than it 5/10

This fragrance is childish and silly. Carla Fendi is hardly la regina della transgressione with this bland, airport duty free shelf filler. There are at least a hundred other fragrances with this same boiler plate vocabulary. It just shows that the market is never too crowded for another clone with big marketing dollars, and a desperate, fading house, behind it. I see this doing well in 3rd tier markets where the Fendi brand still has some currency.

I regret buying this cologne! I thought it smelled nice when I first tested it. I guess my nose was confused from smelling too many perfumes that day. Now, I can't stand it and I dislike it because it smells cheap, generic and not so pleasant. Nothing special here. Its a shame because I also own Fendi Pour Homme Assoluto and I absolutely love it.

I originally liked the smell of this out of the sample sprayer. I quickly found it to be an underachiever regarding complexity and depth. My wife quickly remarked that she found the scent to be underwhelming. Seems like better options are available for the price bracket.

Good longevity, bad scent: Mature, "AVONish" cheap smell, the dry down is very boozy like invictus, never blind buy this.

It's very easy. The notes are already listed and smart people read impressionistically and between the lines.

It's blue, it smells generically blue in a crowded genre, nothing new here for me.

Revisiting some old bottles in my collection. Noticed that this one was almost empty. Shame. 4/5 stars ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ - exceptional fragrance. I don't recommend paying high prices for it, but should somebody come across bottles from friends or family or older stores - snag it. Donnie719 is correct 💯 - this is not Creed Erolfa. No idea how that got voted up so quickly. Sometimes on fragrantica people get excited to compare entry-level fragrances to those costing much more. After a decade in storage - I notice the uniqueness of the dry down of this Fendi fragrance. Opening and mid elements similar to Versace Pour Hommie or Versace Man Fresh but the dry down masterfully blended subtle smooth leather, woods, and musk. If you want some of the elements and vibe of this Fendi Acqua - Tumi Atlas gets close. It nails the light cardamom spice and florals with gym sport cologne vibe. Acqua di Giò Elixir by Armani a bit and has that smooth leather but that release sparkles with more mineral notes. All three of these Fendi releases were underrated - they have little elements that were definitely crafted with care. Shame the sales numbers likely didn't help them penetrate the crowded market a decade ago.

I wonder if the samples that macys sent out were bad beacuse people saying they get good longevity out of this is mind boggling. I get littearlly 3 hours tops with this. And that is pushing it. Quiet possibly the worst fragrance at this price point for longevity and projection I have ever tried(and multiple times mind you). For the smell it self. I get a lot of alcohol a the begining and a for lack of a better word cheap smell for about anywhere from 5 mins to sometimes 20. Some fresh green sorta notes to it at the begining. But as that fades I actually get a pretty enjoyable candy sorta vibe. That reminds me a lot of guess seductive. Sadly the candy vibe starts to fade and I get more green again and it actually can be kinda sicking to smell to me. While the candy sorta smell is there its nice, but honestly performance wise I feel this is on part with adidas moves or something and I can get that for 10 bucks. Even with the nice candy portion of the fragrance its a skin scent so not much chance of anyone enjoying it. Awful bang for your buck imo.

As I type this review with Dior Homme Sport 2017 on my left arm and Fan di Fendi Acqua on my right arm. I'm seriously surprised, disgusted and amazed that no one noticed the similarities between these two opening and mids. The Bergamot and Italian lemon in FdF acqua smells close (not as bright or fresh but close) to the blood orange grapefruit and lemon in DHS, with the sea notes and lavender in FdF acqua providing the contrast in the opening. The mid of pink pepper cardamom basil and sage in FdF acqua is not too far off from the pink pepper nutmeg and geranium in DHS. It's only in the far drydowns, that both of these fragrances, go in totally separate and different directions. If I was to give Dior Homme Sport 7.5 or 8 out of 10, Fan di Fendi Acqua would receive 7 or 7.5 out of 10. Demachy copied off his own homework and changed some of his answers to give to a friend

Weird. I don't usually like aquatics but I prefer this to the original. I get a weird paint stripper note from Fan di Fendi pour Homme. Calone, sea notes or whatever you want to call it really dominates Acqua. Well duh. It's Acqua. I can still smell the leather, basil & cardamom though. Personally, I am kind of over cardamom. It's a scent I enjoy, but it's so distinctive and it's in EVERYTHING. Yes, it's nice. It's almost like perfume MSG. Still, I am bored.

So let me just start by saying I have several bottles of Creed Erolfa (my signature) and Fendi Aqua smells absolutely nothing like it , Fendi Aqua Is also one of my signatures and I can say definitively the two are not close in any way so for those of you saying it’s in the number one spot on the “smells like” list bring new rise to the term busted nose 😂

Animalic aquatic , though it isn’t as fun as that sounds. Great concept, flat execution. Lacks depth and complexity but ok for a cheapie if you don't mind calone. Bvlgari’s Aqva like is comparable but probably a step up in quality if you can live without the leather! If you can't and you've got some kind of leather fetish, you just found your beach frag!

I just tried this on as a sample (I have a sample of it from Macy's or Bon.Ton), and it's pretty nice. It has something in it just like some of the Yves St Laurent L'Homme ones, mostly the sport version, because it must be cedar or something, that spiciness it's just the same. This one does have the "aqua" scent, but I like it for the woody spiciness.

Not a bad scent but rather generic. Ever since the onslaught of this kind of fragrances in the early 90s I just have taken a dislike for most light citrusy scents. Also, anything with lemon and lavender makes me automatically think of Cool Water. The bottle is really cool though.

Blind bought this on a whim and its decent at best. Scent wise,in my opinion its Azzaro Chrome with an ever so slight powdery feel. Skin scent after 3-4 hours. Not a bad pick up for the low cost. Even if it's just to add to the collection.

I understand the comparison to Erolfa. This may be my favorite “blue” fragrance. I’d count this in top dumb reach fragrances. I thoroughly recommend this ESPECIALLY for the price. Summer banger cheapie. All the hype I heard is legit.

Don't know why this one dose don't get more love and attention it's super clean well blended last long time the mid and base have some woods not over powering this to me can go toe 2 toe with the big boy aquatics I'm on my 2 bottle
