Scuderia Ferrari Light Essence Acqua

Few are the smells that inspire a warm emotion on the part of perfume lovers, such as the summer sillage of sweet and brackish seawater. The unique combination of the sweetness of the flowers and the delicate liveliness of the saltwater distinguishes this perfume as one of the most intoxicating and characteristic aromas of the entire olfactory spectrum. Scuderia Light Essence Acqua is light but a well-made version of the aquatic "blue" standard presenting all the typical notes of this genre. Citrus notes, an artificial marine accord that vaguely approaches a sort of oceanic atmosphere, dry and unidentifiable woods, and some soft flowers that float around the edges to round it. And it's pretty much all mixed into a single linear blue chord. Essence Acqua is surprisingly pleasant. If you were looking for something that smelled clean and a little fresh and distinguished you from the daily smells carried around by the general public, Light Essence Acqua is a perfect choice. Connected, yet not to be confused with Light Essence or Bright, the former I have already reviewed and smell quite different from Acqua. There is a bright, sparkling, unripe green lime that explodes in the initial accord. The tartness of the lime melts with the pungent spiciness of the ginger, here a bit soapy as in the freshly cut root. In the background lingers the delicate white tea redolence, as if lime's peel and ginger's pulp were floating on a chilly cup of mild tea. I love this prelude, it is immediately refreshing, uplifting, as the energic punch in your face you need in the morning to fully wake up after a restful sleep. The opening notes are well balanced, with no one dominating or overpowering the others, and well bound from the later stage notes. Lemon tart with fruit toppings served on a shaded terrace at a sunny beach. This aroma reminds me of remote Italian beaches, I breathe it in, and it cheers me up. There are lots of limes, but the peach blossoms make this a quite sweet, not overly crisp scent. So, the initial stage is citrus, green, and spicy. The first blast is as fresh as a morning during springtime. It is as delicious as Heaven. Fruity Heaven! Lime is the first and most detectable note, zingy and full of spark but then the peach blossom arrives bringing a sweet note taming down the citrus. The sun-drenched peach blossom scent is pure and delicious! A very fresh breezy citron with other fruity nuances makes this so yummy and uplifting in the heat. Later the tamed silky rose blends all the fruit florals creating a sweet, velvety perfection. And the unthinkable happens, the fragrance gets even better. A zestful tickle of a cute maritime accord keeps the middle stage wet and fresh, which feels like the seawater spray blown from the crests of waves by the wind that clash against the cliffs; unexpectedly pleasant floral and marine middle stage. The final stage is all too woody and musky. As it dries down, you notice the soft sensation it exudes. A bunch of creamy light and white woods melt with dryer sweet cedar and a lot of clean, solar, and sensual white musk. A shy tea still lingers around and pleasantly mingles with sandalwood. A woodsy and zesty tea accord is what remains in the final trails. For a masculine fragrance, this one is leaning heavily on the feminine side, which I don't mind yet I adore, wearable mainly during the day and in warm weather. Light Essence Acqua appeals to men and women alike - a pure, sparkling summer scent, recalling the sheer, exhilarating thrill of pure speed and performance. Its sillage is moderate, and the only downside I found is that it doesn't last long on me, it's gone within a few hours. But that is not such a big deal, the low price allows for reapplying whenever I want, and the tiny bottle can be taken with me all day long. Overall it is a great fruity, refreshing scent for a sunny afternoon at the poolside. It is seriously too much to handle and all too good. It's uplifting, attractive, clean, beautiful. I wonder why this fragrance didn't get more attention? But on the other hand, perhaps that's a good thing for the few lucky people like me who discovered this hidden gem. This review is based on a 30 ml (1 fl oz) bottle that I have owned since July 2020.

A FINE FINE AQUATIC SCENT...SMELL LIKE AN OCEAN OF FRESH LAUNDRY...AND MOST DEF FEELS BLUE N WATERY..8.5..OF 10...WAS WORTH THE WAIT..REMINDS ME OF KING SEDUCTION ABSOLUTE..EXCEPT FOR NOT HAVING THE LEATHERY/SUEDISH NOTE THAT KOS HAS...BUT BOTH ARE GOOOOOOOOD !!! MMMMM

I like it. It has pretty decent longevity and is very fresh. The floral notes are stronger than the citrus, so I feel more comfortable wearing it in the spring than the summer.

Got 2 bottles of 75mL EdT light essence Acqua at Rossmann for 5,9€ each :) Smells like a fresh sea breezes 🌊 Amazing for the price!

I purchased 125mL EDT after sampling it at the local store. When I sampled at the local store, it reminded me of D&G Light Blue for females. It was slightly sweet but fresh scent. This is a fresh but rather generic summer aquatic blue fragrance. It opens up with lime and minty fresh notes then settles down into fresh but fruity notes that you can barely smell due to the weak longevity. Just like Ferrari Black EDT, this one does not last for more than 3 to 4 hours. I recommend carrying a bottle or decant it in a mini atomizer and applying three to four more times after about 4 hours of applying initially. I wouldn't recommend this unless you're collecting Ferrari fragrances or just wanna use a non-offensive fragrance. This vaguely reminds me of D&G Light Blue EDT for females. I rate fragrances with a category that people don't normally talk about, that is how easy it is to get the scent off of the skin when I take shower. This one comes off after four washes of soaping.
