I don't hang out with any dirty hobos, so I can't attest to the way they smell, but I have smelled about a half dozen dupes of Aventus and the real thing, and this is a pretty solid dupe of Aventus. I'm not sure WHY the note pyramid and accords list has so much odd stuff in it, as a "fresh aquatic" version of Aventus would be pretty cool, I don't smell a single bit of lemonade. The last product I bought from this company was their "American Blend" which is their version of YSL's Rive Gauche, and it was an obnoxiously overpowered fragrance that could fill a room with two sprays. I was afraid that would happen with this if I got the spray version, so I got the aftershave version instead. It's still strong, but not room-filling strong, with a touch of menthol to cool everything down. The menthol dries off quick, leaving just the scent.

Very disappointed by this one as I absolutely love the aftershave. In fact, the aftershave is stronger, longer lasting, and a better scent profile. I bought this EDT as I wanted a stronger version of that smell, but was very disappointed in how weak it is. I need at least 6 sprays to feel like one spray of a typical EDT. Seriously. But even then the notes die off quickly and you can only smell a faint smell from very close. And at $48 it’s way overpriced for having worse performance than fragrances that are a fraction of the cost. If you’re looking for something super light and with a similar profile to the aftershave, maybe this is for you, but honestly skip it and just apply more aftershave.

The aftershave version of this is absolutely amazing. This EDT version is not so great. Of all the many Aventus clones this is the least good. Horrible longevity and lasting power. The aftershave smells like the best version of Aventus so no disappointment there and last longer.

This smells like Aventus. If you poured Aventus down a hobo's ass crack.
