Bouquet de La Reine

I have just bought this in EDP formulation (comes in the red box as shown in the supplementary picture) and suspect that the prevalent notes and longevity etc. (as voted above) may be for the EDT. sky76sky's assessment is absolutely bang on. The EDP is not particularly fruity on me - I can hardly smell peach at all, which is something of a relief as it doesn't always play nicely for me; Bouquet de La Reine is a rich floral bouquet supported by oakmoss, with a pinch of sandalwood. There's a refreshing, slightly bitter citrus note - almost grapefruit - which isn't fading. Grapefruit isn't listed here, so this may be an interaction between the bergamot and other notes, perhaps. I've been wearing it for several hours now and - whilst the sillage is fairly close, it shows no signs of fading at all. The EDP should definitely be classified as a floral chypre. I haven't tested the EDT, but feel that there should be separate listings on Fragrantica, especially if other reviewers have assessed the longevity of the EDT rather than the EDP. Absolutely beautiful, classy perfume which isn't similar to anything else I own or remember smelling - perfect for summer wear; it's January here and bloody chilly, but I think this bouquet will shine even more in the summer. Sillage is moderate and longevity is moderate at the very least. I love it!

I have very dry skin, which is prone to absorbing perfumes like a sponge - BUT I can still smell Bouquet de La Reine this morning on my arms, although it is very close to the skin; I sprayed at about 2pm yesterday afternoon, which makes it nearly 19 hours ago. It smells stronger on the top I was wearing yesterday. I have corrected my longevity estimate above to "Long lasting", but please bear in mind I have the EDP, which I also assess as being a floral chypre, not a fruity floral. I suspect most of the votes on notes and longevity may apply to the EDT, which I have not tested. I think the EDP is discontinued as it's no longer available from Floris.

This is lovely stuff. Floris seems to be particularly good at floral notes (the floral parts of 89 and Special 127 are fresh and vibrant). This one is similarly good. A wonderful mixed floral with that familiar Floris EDT sparkle. Nominally feminine but not too much so and I'm happy to wear it. Only used my newly bought bottle twice so haven't quite worked out what the dry down is but it seems to last moderately well and all in all is a superb fragrance (I prefer it to their Edwardian Bouquet)

I agree with sky76sky's review and would like to reiterate how surprisingly long (several hours) this gentle fragrance lasts. Also, I dabbed on a sample, but would love to try a spray to see if it improves the sillage. Although I could definitely detect the scent during breezes on this sunny summer morning, I doubt anyone else could, which is a shame since it is such a high quality, pretty, soft floral that I doubt it would offend anyone's nose.

So soft and delicate. I’m not a fan of soapy white florals and I love this. It’s less ivory bar soap and more unscented lotion or even sunscreen. The opening is a lovely fresh, fruity floral. For me it settles into a soft, creamy, lotion-y floral with some of the vanilla coming through. It’s quite long lasting on me, I’ve applied it in the evening and woken up with it still noticeable on my skin.

I love this scent for how fresh and sweet it is, like a morning in springtime when blossoms are blooming everywhere. The delicate spiciness lends depth, keeping it from being soapy. It isn't one I'd wear every day. I have to be in the mood.

I like this – for someone else. My niece comes to mind. It is a very pretty, fruity floral, with the emphasis on the fruit. I do wish the fruit-to-floral ratio were the other way around as I am having a hard time distinguishing the floral notes. I faintly pick up the rose, lotv, and to a lesser degree, the ylang. The tuberose is completely missing on my skin. As others have mentioned, it does have a very fresh and clean feel to it, which I find a tad shampooey (sp?); youthful too, which is why I think this would work better for my niece than for me. Since she loves fragrances like Dylan Blue, Chanel Gardenia, Spring Flower, Burberry Blush, etc., which are in the same vein, this perfume would fit her tastes. I made a mental note to consider this as a future purchase for her after testing this sample. By chance, (most likely ad tracking - how the hell do they read our minds anyway?!), I came across a barely used bottle of the edt. for a steal of a price and couldn't pass it up. This bottle does not have a paper label. The fragrance name is printed directly on the glass. The volume is 3.5 oz. and not the standard 3.3/3.4oz. Is this an older formula or a newer formula? I suspect the former, but I have no idea. If anyone knows, please fill me in. Since it was already opened, I did try it and surprisingly found the performance quite good. That further makes me suspect that this is a prior formula than what is currently on the market today. I could be wrong about that as I have not smelled the most recent version, but with IFRA regulations being what they are in their never-ending quest to destroy every fragrance on the market, I suspect the latest formula might have been tinkered with. For those who own what is currently selling, I hope that is not the case. Overall, this is a very pretty, sophisticated fragrance that's youthful, but not childish, and would work well both inside and outside a work environment, which is ideal for my young professional niece. I am sure she is going to love it. Edit - She does, and the most amazing thing is that I can really smell the tuberose strongly on her whereas I did not get that at all on me. Skin chemistry is a major factor with this scent.

This is the ultimate grown-up fruity-floral. All the fruits are blended so well that they play hide & seek with your nose throughout the perfume's wear. There is the softest of realistic (unheightened) peaches, sweet & gentle. The rich, sharp & juicy tang of inky-blackcurrents. A hint of bergamot & some wonderfully bitter violet leaves. This creates a softly zesty, depthy fruity entry, but oh-so-gentle. Now add to this a glass of sparkling cool spring water & a bunch of the most beautiful white florals - some clear & clean (lily of the valley) some thick & warm (jasmine) some high & heady (just a little tuberose). These translucent florals are the stars of the show. To my nose the now subdued fruits are also enhanced by a hint of freshly muddled lime (not sharp, just a bit of sourness & zest) & calmed with a sheer, creamy smoothness from the sandalwood & vanilla. The Oakmoss grounds the fragrance & stops it from becoming too "twee". It is beautifully crafted, sweet & flirty yet very refined. The sillage is small but the longevity is pretty decent for so fragile a fragrance. If you are a "frooty" girl looking for a fragrance with a bit more substance & refinement, or a classic lady looking for a "sweet nothing" to make you smile this summer then I would give Bouquet a whirl!

Opens very fruity with a peachy, almost blackcurrant vibe, and quickly turns into one of the most stunning floral scents out there. I tend to fall pretty hard for anything with lily-of-the-valley as a noticeable note, and this one goes straight to the top. A soapy rose, jasmine, tuberose and violet sit comfortably underneath lily-of-the-valley during the dry down. A very light oakmoss is noticed underneath, maintaining a green aspect and keeping the scent from becoming too sweet. Bouquet de la Reine is a stunning, light and delicate, clean floral bouquet. Floris are such an incredible house, you know anything they create is going to be very high quality and will last all day. This would make an excellent Springtime fragrance for your floral collection.

This is totally fruity floral like others already have said. After I made the first sniff from my arm I was hooked. It's extremely fresh, mouthwatering and sparkly (yes, I used word "sparkly"). It resembles some lovely fruit cider or champagne for children. I don't get much of tuberose or other flowers (except violet, maybe), but I get loads of lovely fruity orgy, which is very exciting for me. It's extremely feminine, extremely girly, but somehow grown up and should be tried by those who wish to have at least one floral fruity in their collection, but don't like all those generic floral fruitys that market has to offer. This is classy and smells expensive, but still is girly.

So looking forward to sampling this as I’m in love with Floris Night Scented Jasmine . I love what I can smell of it . I had to spray it on my clothes to fully get its depth and even then it’s so mild , I’m devastated . I had the same problem with Night Scented Jasmine . Such an outstanding scent just wish it lasted longer and I could smell it better . Longevity and silage is poor . Wish they had both in EDP cause it might of helped . Can’t smell any notes in particular just a beautiful , classy floral . 😭😭 Decided to buy a bottle of this and Floris Fleur. Glad I did as they seem to last longer than the samples .

I picked up a bottle fairly cheaply in a sale and I would definitely say this is a like/verging on an ok rather than a love. I agree with the reviews that say it reminds them of shampoo. To me, it doesn't smell particularly complex or nuanced - I don't get much in the way of fruit, more of a soapy floral. I think it leans feminine and probably has more of a youthful feel about it. Overall, I think it's a pleasant scent that might be particularly good if you're a guest at a spring or early summer wedding, but I am not sure I would buy again.

A literal fruity floral, ergo not sugar water body spray. Fresh, dewy, elegant. Indeed a perfect fit for the fruitchouli person looking for something more upscale or the conservative looking to lighten up. I don't do too well with really floral-y florals and I don't feel like this fragrance is particularly me but it's pretty. Pretty with actual substance, which is sort of a rare thing.

Very feminine white floral with a hint of fruit. Inoffensive and easily worn daily. There is a creaminess to the scent too. It’s utterly beautiful. However it doesn’t last long and I had to spray a few times to get the full experience. Which is unfortunate when it’s quite pricey. If it was an EDP it would have been perfect.

very youthful shampoo vibes. can't believe i'm saying this... but Britney Spears did it better with her Curious fragrance. they smell damn near identical, Curious is better blended, smells better, stronger, last longer and is under 20 bucks. so if you like Floris Bouquet de La Reine, save yourself some cash and go with Curious.

Initial spray is refreshing and delicate but again the oakmoss in the drydown ruins it for me.

From the name of this offering from Floris, Bouquet de la Reine, I was honestly expecting a dowager rose. Not so! To my surprise, this creation is a fruity-floral moving toward the modern abstract style. It was launched in 2002, so it could not have been inspired by Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, but I could see her wearing this--much more so than the current Queen! Bouquet de la Reine is really quite fruity but the whole thing smells like it's trying to straddle tradition while also embracing the twenty-first century developments in perfumery (the age of abstraction!) and ends up being something of a neither-nor to my nose. I prefer some of the other more traditional Floris mixed floral perfumes to this one. My initial reaction was positive, but after a while I find that it's not the most pleasant wear, and eventually I grow weary of the fruits, which start to seem overbearing. There is some overlap with a few blackcurrant and blackberry florals, but the rose is MIA in this one, so naturally I prefer some of those. In the end, this is just too fruity for me, and the nameless flowers are just too abstract.

One of the most beautiful floral scent out there. The opening is literally the prettiest burst of florals with hints of the freshness of bergamot. Very well blended, and so feminine. Unfortunately the dry down is kinda turn me off, as its kinda soapy and essential oil like. It's not that i dont like it, but the top and heart notes are so beautiful and captivating so i was expecting something more for the dry down. To me the dry down smells very regular and it takes out the uniqueness of this perfume. I think this fragrance is very versatile. The opening-heart notes makes it very good for a casual day date, and with the dry down notes it makes a really good office scent. So maybe this will be a good fragrance to wear if you have a crush at your workplace lol. Stays about 4 hours on me and the sillage is very moderate. Right now im having a 15ml decant,gonna keep using it until i could make up my mind if i should have the full bottle in my collection.

This is not the type of scent I normally gravitate towards. I like the Ambers and orientals but this...this is lovely to my nose. I’m not sure why it vaguely reminds me of a sweeter less skanky Mitsouko (no hate please) and I could wear this as a daily driver. I found this gem in an estate box lot of fragrances and I’m just tickled to have it in my collection. It’s floral and fruity but not cheap and has exceptional longevity (spritzed one spray on my forearm before bed to test) and was still lovely the next morning. I’m smitten and now must sample the others from this house.
