Reine des Coeurs Eau de Parfum

It must be older than 2019, i think i had it in 2016 or so. I loved it and wanted to repurchase but it wasn't available. Today I got a tester of Lancome's La via est belle and i immediately remembered of this perfume. It's so similar! Now i'm wondering which one to buy. Edit; I checked my photos and now i'm absolutely sure i bought it in 2016 while i was in Nice, so it's not a 2019 perfume. Still remember and love it.

Lovely peach and rose reminiscent of Rochas Femme(1944). This is light and short lived on my skin.

Tried this in store-fell in love! Bought a bottle immediately. Scent lasted all day, was complex elegant and sexy. Sweet but the pink pepper and benzoin kept it under control. BUT...I feel ripped off. The “eau de parfum” sample bottle in store may have been more concentrated as my brand new bottle has no longevity OR the sillage of the sample. Wore it the next day, couldn’t smell it on my wrist after an hour. So disappointed with Fragonard-I thought a French fragrance house as old as this would want to maintain a good reputation. My sister had the exact same experience, with their Cardamom perfume. Not buying again!

I blind bought this to my disappointment. I am a mature woman but this one truly is for the old ducks. Smells like something from the 70s like my mother would’ve liked. Anyone want to swap in Australia. ?

For me, personally, it was a bit to heavy floral for my taste. But I think someone who enjoys heavy floral scents would enjoy this. Maybe slightly sweet, but still too heavy for me. I feel like it is a slightly more mature scent.

Fragonard is such a beautiful house!!! Unfortunately way too underrated from my point of view...! They have such beautiful creations like Soleil, Fragonard edp, Diamant edp, the Flower of the Year collection which is very well done! Anyway, in what concern Reine des Coeurs, I admit that I had expected something else just by seeing the olfactive pyramid. It was a blind buy for me, and I am not regretting the purchase (I almost never do because I love every genre), but while I was thinking that it will be a little bit vintage with the ylang-ylang, peach and orange blossom conbination, it seemed to be veeeery in the same vain as La Vie Est Belle (Lancôme) and Mon Paris (YSL). So way too generic and too sweet for my taste. Very sticky and sugary in my humble opinion. While I am not a seasonal whearer, I do think that this scent is more adapted for a cold spring, or for the beggining of the fall when the wheater is becoming chilli. The sillage is moderate and the longevity is good (8-9 hours). For those who did not want to pay the amount of money for Mon Paris for example, this is almost similar to it. I also find Reine des Coeurs very suited for the young category (12 - 20 years old). Of course we can wear whatever we want, whenever we want (and I will certainly wear it even if I'm 40), but I just wanted to say that if I would have to put it in one category, I see it definately more for the younger generation. Overall, this is not my cup of tea, but Fragonard IS a great house anyway!

I have both EDT and EDP. It's an elegant, feminine scent, suitable for work and daytime, pleasant to wear. Yes, there is some similarity to La vie est belle, but Reine des Coeurs is a much better fragrance, with higher quality of ingredients - while LVEB is disliked by many due to the synthetic sweetness, Fragonard's Reine des Couers remains classy, more "quiet". Not cloying. Very good for spring and colder weather, I haven't tried it in summer, yet. Edit: Now as I own Coco Mademoiselle, I also see definite similarity here. I agree with previous reviewers!

Reine des Coeurs Overall: 9/10 Projection: 8/10 Longevity: 7/10 Sillage: 8/10 Comments: A sweet peach musky perfume that is sure to garner universal praise. One of my favorite perfumes from Fragonard. It excels in its simplicity while still smelling quite distinct. The peach, rose, and orange blossom are quite nice while the musk and benzoin provide a solid platform for those notes without being too distracting themselves. With a current price of $174/100ml, I think this particular perfume is fighting in a class easily 20-30% more expensive.
