Hibiscus Magic: dear God... this fragrance has completely taken over my brain. I genuinely thought I was a masculine-fresh type of guy, but this destroyed that idea instantly. This floral vanilla amber mix is unreal. Smooth, rich, sweet, slightly creamy, slightly dark, and somehow glowing at the same time. Every time I spray it I end up smelling my own arm like a maniac. And the compliments... ridiculous. I have honestly never had this many people react to how I smell before. It smells expensive in a very specific way like luxury with personality, not just clean designer luxury. Like a massive rose bouquet being delivered out of a blacked-out Rolls Royce with gold rims to somebody dressed head to toe in Prada. The floral notes feel thick and addictive, while the vanilla and amber wrap around everything and make it feel warm, smooth, and almost edible in the air. It projects confidence without smelling aggressive. Most important part: my mom loves it. My girl loves it. My bro loves it. That’s basically a unanimous victory. Performance is insane for the price. This thing fills rooms. Not in an obnoxious chemical way either, it leaves this rich scented trail behind you that people keep noticing. I could constantly smell it radiating off me through the entire wear. The sillage is crazy, the projection is crazy, and it has that “what is that smell?” effect when you walk past people. Sillage: 9/10 Projection: 9.5/10 Longevity: 8/10 Absolute addiction in a bottle. Easily recommend

Updating my original review below. I got this last summer after some influencer hype around it and set it aside because as much as I loved it, the leather note was throwing me off. I ordered another Mahajad dupe, Le Prestige Royale by Khadlaj, but ended up giving that one to my mother because while it was even closer to the original, the leather note was still too prominent and almost headache inducing. Well, I’ve been revisiting some of my neglected fragrances and pulled this one out last week....GAH DAMN. It’s beautiful. The most delicious sweet rose and vanilla highlighted by the herbal fruitiness of spearmint and cassis, finally grounded by subtle leather (much smoother after 9 months of sitting) and resins to keep it from being another basic sweet flowery perfume. Still not as beast mode as Mahajad which is a good thing, but the scent can fill up a room. I can actually smell this on myself and not become noseblind to it. And it’s a non-stop compliment magnet. So many people stopped me to ask me what perfume I was wearing. I almost sold this one but I’m glad I kept it. 10/10 will be wearing this during the last days of spring and cool summer evenings.

Ok but where's the Hibiscus? This comes off as a fruity Roses Vanille on me. It's fruity, sweet, Summery fresh, very rose forward, almost a little watery. Is that the spearmint? I don't sense leather, perhaps a little smoky in the base. I heard there are some comparisons to Delina - no, there is no sharp fruit opening. It's smooth, fresh and green and not at all animalic to me. It is pretty long lasting on skin and clothes, fairly potent but very enjoyable. The cap feels horrible in your hand , like a rough tarmac and polystyrene ball. The only downer. Update Summer '26. I ended up going through two bottles of this, the last one I finished in 2025. It became such a beautiful sugary deep heady fruity mint cocktail that is perfect in August/early September especially in the evenings. I have just found an empty in my empties bin in my spare room and found that it still had a few sprays in the bottom. It's even better now, so much so I am going to repurchase it asap! Absence has made the heart grow fonder.

Just got my bottle yesterday and I wish I had gotten this at the beginning of summer so I could have worn it throughout all the warm months. This perfume is amazing, nothing like what I expected. I was a bit sceptical seeing some people say this is a rose scent because I'm really not a fan of most rose fragrances, especially if it's a jammy rose. However, I don't get much rose here, I get a very fresh opening that reminds me of DKNY fresh blossom and then the smokiness and fruitiness shines through to make this perfume really unique. It lasts a really long time and really projects well. My favorite thing about this fragrance is that I don't really own anything similar to it, it really stands out! My only criticism (if I had to provide one) is that the juice colour is kind of ugly lol, if you're going to use a clear bottle, maybe just make it look a bit more pleasant 😆 Overall I would highly recommend this, it lasts long, smells incredible and costs less than $50 but smells like it's worth $300

When I first got this I thought it was too feminine, kinda reminded me of my moms perfume. But a week later it changed into a beautiful complex rose and vanilla scent that I just cant get enough of. It smells like a beautiful garden of roses but the hibiscus gives it this bittersweet essence and the vanilla and amber just makes it soo good. I cant tell you how much I love it. It lasts soo long too and projects amazingly. I sprayed this on my shirt yesterday and this morning(like 17 hours later) it's still so strong on the shirt. I dropped something on the shirt and had to put it on the laundry and I honestly didn't want to cause I wanted more of this stuff. This is perfect for an all year round fragrance except for those suuper hot days or suuper cold days otherwise its amazing.

I am so so happy for Finally seeing H Magic on fragrantica, l got H Mahajad maybe two months ago and sold it right awyyy, not because it's bad but I couldn't justify the price for the scent, l expected much much more, it's just a very good pretty rose scent, I got H magic two weeks ago and let me tell you ITS SO SO ADDICTIVE, I am wearing it right now and I can't stop sniffing my arms, I got a backup bottle, it's so so close to the OG but I love H Magic more because it's more spicy but still fresh because the mint is prominent here, it’s feminine imo, perfect for summer, I wish it project more but maybe it just needs some time to set, but still great quick and price too, one of the best Middle Eastern fragrances IMO.

UPDATE 8/27/24 - I picked up Le Prestige Royal by Khadlaj (not on Fragrantica) which is also a Mahajad dupe. Out of the two, LPR is the better choice. Still not as strong or bold as the original but the sillage and longevity of LPR is much better than Hibiscus Magic. Smells 99.9% like Mahajad. Smells almost identical to Hibiscus Mahajad (somehow without any hibiscus notes in the formula) but with less intensity. That doesn't mean it lacks in performance; it projects well and I get 4-6 hours longevity. The dry down is a little sweeter than Mahajad but not enough to notice. I am a big fan of the quality of some of these dupes out there. This is one that I favor over the original.

This has become one of my favourites in my collection. I'm very picky with rose scent but the rose with the mint in here smells watery. The Amber is very prominent and a little hint of vanilla. It's a very addictive perfume that I kept sniffing it after every few minutes. However, this kind of scent is not for everyone. So, get a decant to test it out.

Like most are saying, this is the toned-down version of HM in terms of sillage, but with similar impressive longevity. This is 85-90% similar in terms of smell, with this being way more sweet. I think it's close enough and with the price, you can't beat it. Perfect year-round scent for a variety of occasions.

This one right here, is a stunning perfume, I’ve tried hibiscus mahajad many times and there was always something a little off about, for me this one here does that dna and leaves out any negatives, it smells better to me, it’s not as strong and slightly less quality but the scent itself is better.

I bought two bottles of this perfume because it's so good, but my mom took them both😂 Hibiscus Magic is a stunning blend of mint, rose, vanilla and amber. Smells like the most opulent, sexy body lotion. Yes, it is more feminine leaning, and can be worn all year round.

This is beautiful! I have yet to smell HM but if it smells like this, I have to try. I absolutely love cassis in fragrances. It’s sweet and sexy to me, I can definitely see it being a signature scent on others and myself.

Yes, it is a good Hibiscus Mahajad dupe, but much softer. I will do a review on my channel soon, since I also have the Dua dupe Magic of Hibiscus 😉

One thing for certain, Two things for sure... This is a FOUR SEASON BANGER. Out of the box this fragrance was ready; back up bottle worthy

This is so strong and after 2 minutes you won’t be able to tell the difference between this and the original.

Normally I'm not into rose scents, but this one is gorgeous. It definitely has the hibiscus mahajad feel, but it leans slightly more leathery and sweet on my skin. I can't imagine an occasion that this wouldn't work in. Just spray less when wearing it to the office. I sprayed this about 13 hours ago and it's still going strong. And I did only four sprays. Sooo just get it plz

I bought because of the claim of it being exact dupe and because I love HM and can't afford the OG🙃 Magic is close, but not that sweet and comprehensive. It is an office friendly version, the one that does not fill the room like the HM.

Guys it's really similar to Ferre Rose in the dry down. It's like Ferre Rose with added pepper. I'm surprised!

Very "meh". It smells kinda old... like, from a time when perfume was not the best. It's quite green - It smells like a park. Not one that hibiscus grows in. This isn't really similar to Eden by Cacharel, but I feel it's in the same category. Not at all for me - too green and herbal. I disagree with the review a few down saying only a millennial would enjoy this. I'm a millennial, and this is a scent popular before my time, but I agree with the rest of the overall picture.

I didn’t enjoy this perfume! You shouldn’t listen to YouTubers! I bought this as a blind buy, and I regret it! It’s a terrible perfume! Extremely confusing! 😡 Update: After 10 months of maceration, this perfume has finally become wearable. When I blind-bought it, it wasn’t even worthy of being called a perfume. Now it’s better, though I still don’t really like it. I’ll try wearing it outside, and if someone ends up liking it, I’ll gift it to him/her.

I blind-bought it after listening to the YouTubers raving how beautiful it was, and I regret it, big time. This is such synthetic, plasticky and cheap-smelling fragrance that I really cannot believe it. It's very nauseating, headache inducing, and I'm wondering how in the world anybody could call it beautiful. Had I sampled it before, I would have never even considered getting it.

Fully agree with the previous review and the mothball comment. Not offensive, not vintage, not memorable - just meh. It somehow evokes Yves Rocher's Cantate, worn by my mom in the 90s.

1. Definitely not a 1:1 to HM, lacks that sparkly hibiscus juiciness in top notes, which really makes Magic a rose-forward perfume, not hibiscus-forward. 2. Not a beast mode: average performance. 3. A weird plastic cap with a strange texture that is chipping off. The cap sits loose and feels cheap. 4. Bottle has a paper label/sticker that's not even aligned properly. Box was also made of low-grade carton. Overall, a very disappointing packaging for this price point, compared to all other Arabic fragrance houses killing it with presentation. 4. Khadlaj Le Prestige Royal smells almost identical and is of much better quality than Magic, with more richness to the fragrance - although sadly it also lacks the juicy hibiscus top notes. Sorry to say folks, but this is another dupe fail! If you want the real HM stuff, you have to save up, so do not waste your money on these dupes.

I've been on the lookout for a fresh, juicy, slightly sweet hibiscus perfume and this isn't it. It's fresh alright, but not sweet or juicy, and I know black pepper isn't listed as a note but it's what I smell, and it ruins it for me. However, I do think this would smell amazing on a man.

bought a sample of the OG Hibiscus Mahajad and completely fell in love with it. As its pricey I opted for this dupe and I'm so happy I did. It has completely blown me away with how similar it is. Such a beautiful sweet, spicy fragrance that I can't stop sniffing my arms now. 10/10 for this one ❤️

Such a heavy perfume, it feels like a synthetic, cheap, disgusting, I have no words to explain the nausea it produces in me, this is not even a grandmother's smell, I have no explanation for how bad it is.

I am super excited about this purchase. I was thinking of getting the OG, because H Mahajad is the kind of scent you can’t get out of your mind. However, the price and the fact that it is a nuclear bomb stopped me. I can only wear one spray behind my knees of the stuff, because otherwise, it’s like sitting in a vat of it. And I’m always conscious of the fact that other people might not want to smell this all day. H Magic, however, hits all the notes of the OG, to my nose at least (I have a sample that I compared it to), but slightly toned down, so I can wear it with a spray on each wrist and it’s powerful but not explosive. It lasts all day. The rose is perfectly blended, as I don’t love rose-forward perfumes. It’s slightly woody, slightly sweet. It’s both comforting and sexy. Recommend more than the OG. Sorry, Quentin. Sometimes less is more.

Can anyone compare this to the Heavenly Hibiscus fragrance by Julianna's Perfume? That one smells very similar to HM but it's missing something for me. HM is so potent I'm sure a 5mL decant would last me a while so I should probably just go that route but part of me want's to give this a try too.

I have never got the hype around Hibiscus Mahajad. The mint and leather threw me off. But THIS! This was an instant love. It’s very rose forward. Even though I still get the mint, it’s not as strong. But mine is brand new. Still got some maceration to go so I don’t know what that’ll be like.

The top note is dominated by a strange inky note that brings to mind an old lady with bad periodontitis breath. After a while the note goes away and the perfume settles into the familiar bright juicy sweetness of HM. Softer, weaker projection but the resemblance is definitely there.

I have been wanting a hibiscus fragrance. I got the aerin one but I was not enjoying it. This one was priced right. The cassis note is making it a little sharp. I am waiting for the vanilla to come out or the cedarwood. The jury is out so far on this one.

Just get this. Give it time to fully dry down, and enjoy the masterpiece! I have compared to HM, and no one in the wild would ever be able to tell them apart. Absolutely stunning.
