Privé Saffron

Got this gem last week, in a package with Oud Nuclear and Oud Mandess. I would say this grabbed me the most from the the three of them. Absolute beast Saffron! Got lots of compliments just with the first use! Definitely a banger!

Out of the box spray on this is not positive for me, has none of the finesse of Safran. Super cloying and headache inducing, you get a strong punchy leather note which dominates consistently as this is a very linear fragrance . It smells slightly 'better' on paper but how it smells on my skin I would definitely not recommend this, once it dried down a bit the only thing it reminds me of is a warmer spicier version of golden fog by zara so if you like sharp synthetic leathery/floral scents then this could be for you? I'm quite particular about leather accords especially when I'm not intentionally buying them but if you like golden fog you will like this. They smell very similar. As a dupe of Safran Secret this falls flat on its face. There is almost nothing reminiscent of the Safran dna, the warm metallic vibe is nonexistent, the 'saffron' is just leather with spices and some floral notes that are muddled in to try to create an illusion of something its not. This is for people who don't like personal hygiene but spray 20 pumps of an already overpowering scent to burn the noses of everyone around them. I've had a headache for the past 15 minutes...
