Pure Passion

This is such a comforting, delicate, pure, white floral with musk scent. It is a good interpretation of Dior Pure Poison at a really good price. It is clean, a bit classy yet somewhat sexy. Something you would want to put on straight after a long shower. On my skin, I don't get the citrus notes only the gardenia, jasmine, musk, and amber which are very pronounced. There is no screechiness or any need to put this perfume away for it to get better. It is great from the start. It has moderate projection and great longevity although it is a more delicate type of fragrance. Of the Dior Poison line, Pure Poison is my absolute favourite. Sometimes when you love a fragrance it is difficult to be objective about an alternative but in this case, and for me, it so worth me adding Pure Passion to my collection as I love it as well!

Nose Note #336 Wonderful gardenia-jasmine scent. A little soapy. Very elegant. Would fit any age. Solid performer. 8.5/10

Leans much more soapy than the original. This smells more like gain laundry detergent with almost no sandalwood. I put some on my forearms and began cooking, wow wow the steam really opens up this frag. Hot weather and sweating are needed to make this shine, cold weather it’s just non existent. I would wear this in the humidity, it carries very well in the damp air. My go-to gym fragrance.

One of the worst blind buys. Smells nothing like the original. I believe that mine was from either a very old stock (the only reason that I I don't like Fragrance world perfumes is that the perfume changes completely in a couple of years even if unopened), or it wasn't the 'original' Fragrance world perfume. I decluttered mine, as all I could smell was a very faint mossy scent.

I've got the Midnight Poison version of this from Fragrance World called Passion de Nuit. It's really good so I expect this will be too. It's in my basket on eBay. I love Fragrance World, their dupes are spot on.
