This, along with St. Pauls, is another Frama scent that at the same time smells great and unpleasant. It has nice warm spicy notes, but there's someting that makes this scent very heavy; think about those unbearable hot and humid days when you feel like you can barely breathe... that's what this reminds me of. It's great for autumn/winter evenings because it brings that warmth in a good way, like you're sitting next to a spicy scented fireplace, but in summer it just makes you feel like the heat and humidity is 10 times worse than it actually is. Really unique scent but kinda both pleasant and unpleasant at the same time.

Immediately my favourite of the sample kit. It reminds me, after one or two minutes after the initial spray which is dominated by a sharp note, perhaps strangely considering the notes listed, of a bath powder against colds we used to have at my family home, which in turn was supposed to smell like a fir tree. Much like the other FRAMA scents, it has a very herbal, medicinal quality, but together with Deep Forest, feels like the most modern of the bunch. Nonetheless, it remains a slightly stinky / heavy quality underneath that you also get in more vintage fragrances such as those from Halston. Overall, I could imagine wearing this to bed in winter, or taking a walk in the park. Definitely neither a summer frangrance, nor a sensual night fragrance. The whole FRAMA collection seems to me as what Aesop would have been if it existed in the 1970s, which I have mixed feelings about.

When I first sprayed this on my hand and sniffed it, it was harsh. It almost felt like the scent was burning my nose, but after that initial unpleasantness that quickly fades, it becomes nicer. I agree with the reviewer below that says this is a very heavy scent. It is. It does feel like a warming comforting scent for winter. I had to look up what it reminds me of, but it is this: "Orange Pomander is a fragrant spiced fruit that is popularly used as décor, incense, and a gift during the Fall and Winter Holidays". this is reminiscent of that type of scent, though the carnation pulls it out of that direction. I think this is pretty good, but definitely find a sample first.

Lovely warm fragrance that envelops you in a cloud of pleasantness. It gets you in a cinnamon colored mood, that reminds me of winter nights with warm spiced wine, baked apple and a cosy open fire. Not that I ever really experienced nights like that, but that’s the feeling of nostalgia it triggers. I know the description talks of Bali, which got me interested in the first place. I’ve been to Bali many times and this is not a scent that I can associate with that magical and mysterious Indonesian island. Very nice fragrance though.

A very warm and comforting scent, but still herby and medicinal. At first sniff this felt very overpowering and cloying, after a minute or two I got more used to it and it felt warm, but still heavy. I think the combination of the cinnamon and the orange feels Christmas-y to me, but the old timey feeling of FRAMA scents evokes something sad. I get the image of eating a Christmas cookie to cover the taste of bitter medicine, heavy but comforting and familiar.
