Komorebi

Komorebi is a Japanese word meaning 'sunlight leaking through trees.' It's the mesmerizing, scattered effect, the rays that puncture through, light dappled on leaves, filtered beams. This scent from Frama does match that sensation— serene in form, comforting in feel. There's a yuzu zest and pith that recalls a classic cologne, with a muted floral sweetness, an impressionistic jasmine if you will. While light and diffusive, it has body to it, offering wafts for longer than one would expect from a composition of its kind. As it settles, it feels just a bit more lactonic, but also somehow evergreen, as if there is a breeze coming from a distant copse of hinoki. Think of it as a minimalist palate cleanser for the nose. It's truly in line with the meditative scents offered by Frama—I find it to be a real pleasure.

For perfume that is supposed to represent light, it is a bit strong and heavy but still kinda airy at the same time. Lots of floral notes which are not too sweet but they are still very strong. Easily unisex scent, I guess those woody notes balance things out and keep things fresh but it's still very rich and floral which makes it a bit heavy. As well as other Frama scents - very unique. If it was a bit more fresh it would be perfect, there's just something too heavy and owerpowering about it.

Strongly reminds me of a cologne I've smelled in my childhood, could it be 4711 Original Eau de Cologne? In any case, perfect grandma scent, that becomes bearable and slightly pleasant only after 30 minutes or so.
