Franck Green

This is a clone of a mainstream designer fragrance which I can't figure out. I don't want to guess yet. I know the fragrance is a real popular one. I've smelled the original at the mall, but I prefer this fragrance over the original because of the simple note breakdown. Performance is the same as the one I tried at the mall. Some say Invictus Legend, and I can't say because I haven't smelled that one. Overall, I want to say Azzaro Wanted, but I just haven't smelled that one in so long. My first thought was Azzaro Wanted. I'm just not sure. If you can help me name what this is a clone of, I would appreciate it. I wore it three times, and only felt a cheap vibe for the first time I wore it for 5 seconds. The second and third time I wore it, I didn't detect the cheap vibe I detected the first time. I actually was seeking that cheap vibe, but I didn't detect it. It's definitely a hidden gem at this point. After three wearings, I would say the drydown is very pleasant and energetic feeling. I would even consider a better hidden gem than Antonio Banderas Blue Seduction because the drydown is much better. Blue Seduction excels at the opening, while this one has a nice opening, but the drydown is very energizing and non-synthetic or cloying. I wasn't sure what to expect, but since the drydown is so pleasant and energizing, I'd give it 5 stars for the price to value, and 4 stars for a pretty nice drydown. This is my third Franck Olivier (Oud Touch and Amer being the other two), and I can say that this house hasn't let me down yet. Addendum: 5 people messaged me about this fragrance. It was $18 with free shipping. Guess what, it's now sold out. I told you guys to jump on that deal. Franck Olivier is quality for cheap.

Opening: Not a green scent. very fruity, but not too bright. I have not smelled Invictus before though but to me, Similar to MB Legend Spirit, and Whatever it takes from Kanye West, though dry down is much different. Dry down: After about 10-15 min it becomes very creamy. About 40% Amber, 50% Vanilla, 10% fruity. Very nice combo. Lasts about 5 hours for others around you maybe longer, 9 or 10 hours for yourself. I put it on around 2pm and was smelling the scent until around 11pm. It's so damn pleasant. I wasn't sure about Vanilla on a cologne, so this is my first and I'm liking it a lot. Design: bottle is pretty nice. Thin oval shape and tall. Good quality. Atomizer is crazy good. Reminds me of Sean John 3am atomizer. Sprays almost as long. Value: 10/10. Bought for $18 if I recall for 2.5ml. Update: Inside of cap broke off. Very cheap piece of plastic that keeps it snug broke off and now the cap does not stay on anymore. Bummer, but still great frag.

Here is a fragrance I discovered just reading reviews and comparisons...I do enjoy reading reviews that aren't too redundant...I even have to keep myself in check sometimes as to not to over exaggerate things myself LOL.....All of that being said... I have to say this fragrance is amazing.....it does have the innvictus notes to my nose but also as the previous reviewer mentioned it is in its own right... its own unique type of scent as well...I get the Invictus DNA plus a grassy/herbal type of aquatic aftermath With Apple's.. fruits.. melons.... on that Accord....It comes in a 2.5 oz bottle but the shape is so beautiful and smooth and well-constructed and the sprayer is of the extra fine Mist higher quality.....The scent is an 8.8 the silage and Longevity is a 7.0....have a nice J!

Definitely Franck Olivier's take on Invictus Intense. Don't see that much similarity with Invictus Aqua or Azzaro Wanted. Although, you will definitely find traces of those scent, 'coz they're essentially similar scents. Maybe the Amber gives it a bit of an Azzaro Wanted vibe, but it lacks overall saltiness to be like Invictus Legend and the lacks the 'bubbleguminess' to be like Invictus Aqua. For value, I'll give it a 10/10. I picked it up for AED45, which is around $12. Steal! Anyone tried the blue one? Not Blue touch, but the one from this series? That should've been named green and this one should've been named blue!

I have to rate this as a fragrance of it's own,if I was to compare it to something I would say it smells like dunhill icon racing with vanilla,this is a hit and its sad that I just found out about this fragrance and its been out 2 years,it has great longevity 9 hours plus and projects a good 2 hours,this is a amazing cheapie,cant say its a clone but it smells amazing,it's the bubble gum smell at its finest.Definetly a complement magnet and doesn't smell cheap its blended really well,a 9.5 out of 10 for me

Franck Olivier Green smells almost identical to Invictus Legend with really the only difference being in the sillage. Though I feel Franck Olivier Green doesn't project as well, for the cost difference its a great scent at a great price!

Smells Invitus-ish with a lot of sweet amber. Pretty good performance.

Hm. So this definitely isn't my favorite, and that may just be my nose and not the fragrance itself. Sometimes when I wear this, I catch wiffs of a brighter Eros/Armaf El Cielo, other times I get a rooty, odd type scent that I'm not a huge fan of. After getting a few Franck Olivier frags recently, they seem to do this a lot (have one note that just seems.. off.) On Green, its really not that bad and I'm just being picky, but I wanted to point that out. Overall when its hitting my nose right, this is actually a really nice fragrance. You definitely get the vanilla, the amber, some well done citrus notes, and it does have a "green" feel to it, although it also has a bit of a "blue" feel as well. This and Armaf's El Cielo are NOT the same, but I cant help but always compare them in my head. This is more grown up, not as sweet, still has fruity hints and overall a good blend. Projection is actually really decent, longevity is good, and the atomizer is TOP TIER (Im not kidding, its got a super high quality controlled pressure sprayer, like some Jimmy Choos) Again, wont ever be my first reach, but I will actually wear this and I (admittedly) cant say that about a lot of my collection, lol. For the price, it is ABSOLUTELY worth it to me. Franck's frags very often have quality/scents that punch way above their pricepoints.

I feel that Franck Green EdT was formulated with similar ideas as the Invictus, but I wouldn't call it an Invictus clone. For a fragrance named Green, it is not "green" at all; it smells sweet-powdery-fruity amber instead. I am a little confused as this is not what I expected from a "green" fragrance. But it does smell good, and the price and performance are great, so no complaints.

It's a two note fragrance; amber and grapefruit. It's heavy on the amber, but not overpowering. Light on the grapefruit but not totally absent. Does not feel classically 'green' as suggested by the name and bottle which is a bit misleading.. But the smell is quite enjoyable. Good for warmer weather. Although I have to say -- like a lot of Frank Oliviers fragrances, it's a very simple composition that almost feels dated because of how straightforward it is. It's one of those scents that does not perform 'better' when it's oversprayed, even though it's quite weak.

A marvelous perfume... I bought it blindly, and at a good price. I was surprised at how it managed to pull me into a distant memory—gentle and calm. The grapefruit note is clear and balanced; it doesn’t punch the nose. The cedar works in this fragrance with wisdom and composure, and the base of vanilla and amber is the most beautiful way to conclude this strange carnival of scents.

@GenericUN THANK YOU! I thought I was crazy....but you’re absolutely right, there’s one note here that just doesn’t seem right and I can’t pick it up all the time, nor can I put my finger on “what” it is. Zara also has this happen quite a bit (to my nose) and maybe it’s just something being used by the cheaper houses.

Has anyone else tried this? I'm considering buying this instead of Invictus Legend but I would have to blind buy so any extra information would be valuable.

How can this be version on invictus legend, when this was released in 2017, and invictus Legend was released in 2019.
