Francique 107.9

I bought Francique 107.9 as a blind buy and, honestly, I am very happy with it. The opening was quite alcohol-heavy on my skin, and I wasn't impressed at first. However, after about 30 minutes the fragrance started to settle and reveal its true character. What emerged was a beautiful blend of sweet cherry and warm vanilla, smooth and comforting without becoming overly sugary. Cherry notes can be tricky on my skin. They often turn sour or artificial, but this one worked surprisingly well. The cherry stayed pleasant and blended seamlessly with the creamy vanilla, creating a scent that feels seductive, warm, sweet, and undeniably sexy. The fragrance sits fairly close to the skin and never becomes loud. In fact, I wish the projection were stronger. It is more of a skin scent than a room-filler, but the scent itself is gorgeous. It reminds me slightly of a luxurious body lotion in the best possible way—soft, rounded, cozy, and very easy to wear. The presentation deserves a mention as well. Both the bottle and the box look fantastic and feel much more expensive than the price suggests. Considering the quality, I think this is an excellent value for money. I also have a feeling this fragrance will benefit from some time to mature and develop further. Even now, though, it smells wonderful on my skin. I see it working best during spring and autumn when its warm sweetness can really shine. Overall, this was a very successful blind buy for me. Despite the modest projection, I would happily purchase it again. 8/10 score from me.

I have not smelled the OG so this review is completely based on my thought of this perfume as a blind buy. I bought it 3 months ago just based on the notes and ratings. I have quite a variable collection so I keep looking for interesting fragrances on a budget. And straight out of the box, this was a bomb. First lemme tell you, it's a very unique and fun fragrance. It gives me dark, sexy, independent, dangerous woman or man, because this description and scent suits both genders. It's a powdery scent with an intoxicating cherry note which I didnt recognize as cherry at first. The heliothrope gives it a nice sweetness. Orange blossom and bergamot bring a hint of airiness. And the spiciness is behind the pepper note. But the main part is the base which it lays on - tonka, vanilla and musk. It is a creamy vanilla, almondy tonka all wrapped into a clean musk. So UNIQUE! Even though it's not a pure vanilla scent, it's one of the most prominent vanilla note in all the fragrances I own. That's the best part about the fragrance along with the complexity and how unique it is. 8.9/10

Ok rouge smoking in general wasn't something that impressed me when I first got into fragrances I thought it was a little weak, a little strange smelling.. I thought it could have used more cherry and more depth and thickness etc.. but the more I smelled it later on I realized how special this is there's nothing quite like it.. and airiness and the light cherry in it without being overpowering is a beautiful thing to me in a sea of heavy Cherry boozy fragrances.. and francique nails this sent profile beautifully. I don't see the point of getting the OG when this exists, I will just get this one! It will look nice beside francique 63.55 my lovely gris Chanel dupe and favorite one, which is also beautiful and airy as well.

Nose Note #348 I loved it a lot at first. In the end - this is some very special DNA. More than anything it reminds me of some bubblegum. Cherry is not like Lost Cherry or anywhere realistic, but I guess it plays some role in this bubblegum accord. To me it's more about some particular flower that's often put in womens perfumes. Maybe that the heliotrope - powdery, a little bit like iris. And it's sweet, but not overly sweet. I loved it at first, but after time I realised that this is not a daily fragrance at all and it's definately leaning feminine. Too much for my taste. Even my wife got tired of it. It's not a daily wear... As a special occasion fragrance + performance + DNA = 8/10

Just received this. First spray was very meh, not terribly strong or lasting until I followed the practice that was recommended to me by an Arabic friend. I put down an oily base (no scent skin balm). Completely different scenario. Immediately, the Tonka, cherry, heliotrope and frankincense came out to play. Almondy goodness from this one that really smells much more expensive than it is. I can imagine it being unisex although it leans feminine because of the heliotrope. An amazing find for the price! There's a gorgeous nutmeg scent that perks through, this is just like sitting outside of a French patisserie..... In Spring....
