Honeysuckle

I bought this perfume from Sephora and oh lord! It smells devine. Sweet fresh honeysuckle. It feels like you just walk pass honeysuckle bushes that waft in the air with its alluring scent. I can smell jasmine as well as magnolia and plum. It is well blended fragrance. Beautiful. I could douse myself with this fragrance! It last around 4-5 hours on my skin and project quiet strong the first 1-2 hours and then it softly radiates off my skin in another hour until it fades. For me, this perfume suitable mostly for spring but I’ll rock it in summer heat anyways why not. And I would definitely be proud to reapply because I love the scent so much! Highly recommended for those who are looking for a realistic honeysuckle smell. This is it. You should try it. I wonder why this perfume is underrated. Its gorgeous guys!

I have been searching for years for a perfume that would remind me of my favorite fragrance from the early 80's, a shampoo called Floreal Chevrefeuille - in Brazil where I live the name was Floreal Madressilva (Honeysuckle) - and this is the closest I could find so far! Spraying this makes me very happy! Will definitely be stocking some. Annick Goutal Chevrefeuille, mentioned above, did not smell like this honeysuckle from my childhood. Now the search continues for the Green Apple Floreal...

Surprised this doesn't get mentioned more by the tribes of honeysuckle seekers. I love this one. A fresh, pretty, and uncomplicated honeysuckle. While not technically a soliflore, the honeysuckle here is head and shoulders above any other note. Sillage is medium - I spray this on with abandon in the spring and summer & don't worry about offending tender noses.

It's a nice light and bright fragrance in a sunny way. I think it is successful in regards to the realistic honeysuckle. It is still not the same wild honeysuckle that grows around my house but so far I haven't found anything more realistic than this. I will keep looking. P.S. It is very musky scent that has poor longevity.

When I was a sophomore in college, I travelled to Hong Kong and bought this perfume. The sweet scent was very attractive and amusing to me. I feel fresh, warm summer breeze when I first smelled it. As time goes by, it left a smell of sweet musk on my skin.
