Alba

I visited the NYC store because I am at the point in my fragrance collecting that I seek different, new, and sometimes, challenging. This is the outdoors on a cold misty day, and I love it. Very original, not complying with any rules about base or top notes, etc. It steers clear from old tropes like oakmoss, amber, etc. It is fresh, vegetal, and alive with plant smell. Reminds me of a walk I took at the top of Stratton Mountain on an overcast day. I rode the lift to the top, and took a good long walk through a glowing-green lush, mossy, mountaintop wood full of gnarled ancient evergreens in a heavy mist. As a woman, I can't wear it--well, I choose not to--but it is my pet fragrance. Insomuch as a fisher cat or whitetail deer can be your pet. Which is not really at all.

A unique green woody natural scent. The scent has extracts from three plants. First is a coniferous Scots Pine. Next we get a herbal bog myrtle. Finally we get a resinous honey like heather. The slight masculine leaning scent has moderate sillage and good longevity. Like walking in a Scottish forest on an early Autumn morning. Serene, contemplative, evocative. Enjoy!

I love this perfume a lot. It is simple, yet hits it's marks impeccably well, delivering a wonderfully coniferous fragrance experience. If anyone wants to part with their bottle, please let me know.

Whenever I see Pine I hope for something herbal and pungent and masculine. I find Alba actually the opposite. It stays close to my skin and is soft and kind. Lovely scent though but for a parfum referring to Alba I would expect something more unruly and rough.

A sweet, resinous even honeyed smell but still fresh, like a walk in the woods on a spring afternoon, very pleasant and relaxing. A scent that i associate more with a mood or a space and not as much with a perfume for someone to wear but is lovely nonetheless
