Wabi Sabi

Felt in love with this one since the first sniff, have to say this, it's a behtreen treat for oud & saffron combo, the perfect blend of saffron and other natural ingredients makes it one of best scent profile. performance wise it's a winner already! I would definitely keep it for the special occasions ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wabi Sabi is another lovely creation by Gaia, composed with naturals. Perfumer Anas Sabrani played well, used Hindi oud dominant saffron combo, along with rose jasmine and some other ingredients. It is a winter fragrance by its warm sent profile. Gaia is a top line Pakistani house who is introducing their creations and usinng some natural ingredients.

Wabi Sabi was love at first sight, from the concept of accepting the imperfection to a surprisingly wearable oud with absolutely stunning presentation that has set the bar very high for other competitor houses. Presentation alone, deserves a review of its own. Wabi Sabi is a complex fragrance composed from natural ingredients and this is a feat on its own. As soon as you spray it, you are welcomed by rose and saffron, luring you into the web of mystical oud. Hindi oud in most cases can come up as barnyardish or fecal but here it is warm and welcoming like an old friend. If that was not enough, jasmine and creamy sandalwood makes you want to remain in trance for a long time. On performance front, this is not a beastly fragrance and i did not expect it to be. Performance is adequate enough, remaining on skin for about 6-7 hours while projection bubble is very small. The warm nature of this fragrance makes it a perfect night time companion in winter on special occasions. Wabi Sabi is not a perfect fragrance and i don't think it is pretending to be judging by its name. What you get from first spray is what you get till it lasts with diminished power (of course) making it a linear composition. Also, price per ml is not something everyone will understand or appreciate. But if you can digest above two "imperfections" then i would highly recommend it. I have not tried oil version yet so cannot comment on that for now.

Wabi sabi is just love the best offering of Gaia till now, it's a sophisticated blend of naturals which gives amazing feel to nurture yourself. oud hindi and saffron are easily detectible even in summer I was able to pull this off due to soothing naturals till drydown. although it's not mass pleasing but some sprays in controlled environment will do the job. sadly it's discontinued and couldn't be offered anymore.
