Mezzanotte

This is the first perfume I had and it used to be a signature scent for me. Unfortunately after going through almost the whole bottle I have to say that this does not perform at ALL for me. It is completely gone in an hour and does not project unless i spray like hell. The scent itself is amazing though, Invictus-like, fruity and masculine with a fresh and sweet apple and watermelon combo. I have to agree with another commenter here, this does smell like a more sweet Lattafa Najdia and Najdia performs better for me, so I see that as sort of a replacement.

I have the EDP,and am happy with my purchase. At first it didn't perform super well, but after 5 months it lasts all day. It doesn't project super well, so don't go too easy on the number of sprays. I would describe it as a fresh, slightly sweet and woody fragrance. Fruity apple and watermelon opening, with a more woody and ambery dry down. Great for any season, but shines in the spring and summer. Buy the EDP and let it macarate.

This scent reminds me of summer. Sweet, warm and friendly.

I am absolutely engulfed by this sweet smell

This is very heavy on green apple and melon. My nose then can detect also lavender and wood, which makes it more masculine leaning scent. It is an interesting combination, which does last for around 3-4 hours on my skin.

I was trying Galimard's sampler pack with my mom and she said that their scents are similar to one another. I disagreed with this view, repeatedly and emphatically but I added that they do smell like stuff I have seen before except that their performance is usually better and the overall impression more pleasant. The reason I am mentioning this is that, quite predictably, I ended up liking their unisex scents or those made for men better than the womens scents. True, they smell familiar but it is usually a good thing with mens scents where the range of experimentation (at least with the mainstream scents I am mostly able to test) is much narrower. This smells like apple on me throughout the wear but it ended up on my clothes and there it was a full-bodied scent, fresh, sweet and noticeable. This leads me to believe that it would smell lovely on other people.

Mezzanotte is very unisex to my nose. The fruity watermelon and apple notes blend in with the herbal reed and lavender. It's not listed, but I swear I smell some cinnamon. As is often the case with Galimard, the scents smell similar to other popular fragrances, but highly concentrated and long-lasting. I don't think it smells at all like Invictus which is a big bomb of aquatic to me. It's more similar to Boss Bottled or Banani Man's Best. Mezzanotte has been my go to for weight workouts (at home, not the gym) because it gives me strength vibe.

This smells like invictus, but more mature.
