This is nice, I get some cloves in with the spice, maybe some nutmeg too. There is a feeling of rum, and a vanilla base. I don’t get much musk or tonka and so it’s not really powdery on my skin. Like a very spicy rum pudding. This will definitely go into my Christmas scents selection.

Sweet and deep. Not boozy or spicy. A great gourmand from the same family as Cafe Ganache.

I love Ganache fragrances and have blind bought quite a few (Lushious Joe, One-Legged Joe, Medium Roast, Marshmallow and Incense, Vainilla Oscura). However, this is not one that I enjoy a lot. I get the rum and a little spice, but no vanilla or tonka. For some reason, it never fully develops on my skin. Bon Vivant is supposed to be inspired by the tonka bean so I expected it to have some of the characteristics like being sweet or powdery but it isn't. No cinnamon, almond, or cloves. What's there is okay for a boozy scent, but it's a no for me overall. Sillage and longevity are moderate.

Now, there are a few scents in this line that are quite similar & are variations of each other. I like that. Bon Vivant starts as a "more subtle" variation of the famous maple syrup scents, such as One Legged Joe & Mama Joe cut down with the spicy notes and musk. I swear I can smell a bit of sandalwood too. It's comforting and enveloping. The sweetness turns spicy and luxurious. Now when I said more subtle, its still strong - people will notice this one! The rum is in the background giving it a bit of a juicy sultana type of vibe. Another delicious scent from Ganache.
