Ghost Moonlight

I tried this today at Boots. To me, it smells far more fruity than floral, particularly berry fruits. It really suits the purple bottle. It's a stronger one but it doesn't give me a headache like some strong perfumes, such as Dior's Poison. I can still smell it on my skin after three hours and I love it! Use it sparingly! It's definitely more of an evening perfume than daytime.

I mainly tried this because I'm not a fan of vanilla and thought white chocolate might be a good substitute so I could see what all the hype was about these super-sweet fragrances. I actually find this well blended and comforting. It's sweet, yes, but the ginger and amber bring warmth and the Lily of the Valley and Orange Blossom bring a bit of a bite that compliments the sweet chocolate. To my nose, I cannot detect the melon or the sandalwood, my only real complaint as I love sandalwood. This isn't anything I'd repurchase, but I'm not going to sell or swap the bottle either. If I find that I'm not using it much, my 13 y/o daughter already called dibs on it. I liked this a lot more than most reviewers seem to. It did under-perform (weak longevity, very soft silage), but it's not as bad as some reviews make it out to be.

I really wanted to try this, it looks so appealing, the bottle is gorgeous, sadly the fragrance itself is rather a disappointment, what should be a heavy and dramatic night time fragrance is rather bland. A rather moody ambery gingery spritz is soon followed by a rather sickly smell, which upon reading is white chocolate, but it does fade away fairly quickly. Overall 2/5, a bit of a mug's eye full.

Such a complex scent and yet it reminds me of bubble bath. There is a high chance I would smell like this after bath in moonlight :) It is impossible for me to discern single notes, but the dominant is the scent of white chocolate though here it reminds me of almonds. The scent has quite a presence.

I quite like this one, it's very fresh for a night time scent I personally would not wear it as a night scent. I say its fresh but not shower fresh its more chemical, room freshener or cleaning products but having said all that I do like it even if it smells like an air freshener.

This is quite a pleasant smell, bit warm, floral and a bit chocolatey.Unfortunately it lasts about 10 minutes on me. I've got through a 50ml in no time and would not re buy. Luckily I got this cheap, did blind buy. Super pretty purple bottle, nice cheapie but defo nothing special.

I was given a dab/splash vial sample of this from a sales assistant. The opening is mainly light ginger (a sweet, cooked ginger; not raw ginger), sweetened by the melon. But for me the melon isn't very strong - so the opening is like warm sweet ginger with a touch of fruit salad. The flowers take over and the fruit is gone. I can smell the sandalwood and this keeps the warmness in the perfume. I wish I could really smell the white chocolate but I can't. There is a teeny hint of it, like an aftersmell, similar to the smell of a bag of white chocolate buttons when they've just been opened. This is a rather linear scent that gradually becomes lighter and lighter until I could just smell a hint of something sweet and warm with a touch of woods. I found it very close to the skin and had to put my nose directly onto my wrist to smell it. Its inoffensive and I think you could wear this in an office or in a closed-in space and not bother anyone. It had a showergel-like element to it that sort of reminded me of Molton Brown Heavenly Gingerlily showergel, but obviously way lighter and less spicy.

I really like this perfume - I can definitely smell the white chocolate and fruity notes straight off. Beautiful 'ombre' from dark purple/blue to clear bottle shaped like an hour glass. I didn't use this for the longest time as it was a gift last Christmas but now I am almost out of it. I would wear this any time of day and any season. Lasts around 3-4 hours on me and silage not overpowering.

This smells nice. It's a soft, calming and serene blend of white chocolate, sandalwood, ginger and bergamot. But and it's a massive but, it is one of the poorest performing perfumes I've ever encountered. It's really very, very dreadful in that regard. Which is a great shame. So it's no surprise that it is discontinued.

Very synthetic and chemical like- the notes do not work together,they just do not blend together in my opinion- smells very undone. The first Ghosts where the best- I find the newer ones are poor in contrast compared to the old ones which are masterpeices such as Ghost original, Ghost Night, Ghost cherish

This hints at Serenity, the 2003 Ghost offering, long discontinued and impossible to find. They have peony, lily, amber and bergamot in common on the note list. Overall it is soft, fresh and slightly spicy and reminds me of cool night air after a warm day. Coherent in clarity of design and concept.

I so wanted this to be good as I love the Ghost perfumes but I have to say I am very disappointed with it. It is a gorgeous scent but once I sprayed it, it just disappeared and I mean, I couldn't smell the faintest whiff of it on me... I definetely won't be buying it again...

Sweet and fruity on application, doesn't last long on me unless I layer with the body lotion. Drydown is pleasant but nothing outstanding, very similar to cocoa butter.

This sounds very intresting. I like the combanation of the notes. Does anyone know when, and where this will be avaliable at? Thanks.

Tried this in Boots. Nothing special. I was disapointed as the bottle is beautiful, i was expecting deeper, cooler scent.

the only thing I don't like about this perfume is the longevity :(
