Ghost Summer Dream 2022

The perfume off my skin; smells like a sweet peach drink. However, once applied there's a deep spice- driftwood? Above the spice I get rich Amber scent. Then a sweet watery flower top note almost like a water lily. There's a pollen smell similar to ylang ylang oil in there too. It's very pleasant and sweet. I would say it's a younger ladies fragrance personally. It's more of a bright daytime smell too. But for £18 in superdrug I LOVE THIS! I wouldn't wear it anywhere super formal but a ladies afternoon tea or lunch would be fine.

This was a surprise for me. I blind bought it at start of spring and really like it. Heres the weird bit. . I got on ghost website and looked up the notes. It included 3 notes I dont really like . That said it seems to work for me. I dont find it particularly for summer use only. The tuberose (one of the suspect notes) appears quite fresh instead of sickly creamy and doesn't sting my nose. Quite impressed so far.

Fragrantica needs to update the database . There are another 2 fragrances in this 'dream' range which I can't add onto my list. Midnight dream and Forever dream.

After trying this some time ago, and buying a bottle I decided to wear it today, and although it is a perfectly acceptable scent, it's performance is pathetic. Firstly, I sprayed myself but the perfume was almost immediately undetectable; I had better results spraying my clothes and brushing it through my hair - but, again, it's longevity is not great. Strangely, for a summer fragrance, this seems to have note/s of either nutmeg or cinnamon that I am picking up, which I didn't detect before. For me, I would not buy again, but will use for the autumn as it is not what I am looking to wear in the summer. I have now worn this perfume a few more times, and now realise that it is the amber that is giving this scent a spicy feel. Slightly perturbed that this perfume is reminding me of Pledge furniture polish; not unpleasant but not the vibe I was hoping for.

This is the most beautiful 😍 sweet fruity floral scent of all the Ghost fragrances! It must be the blend of those fruits and gardenia and other white florals with the Amber drydown, quite long lasting and divinely romantic aswell... Lovely!
