L'Interdit Eau de Toilette

L'Interdit EDT is such a beautiful perfume! It's quietly intense, glowing, and radiant, fresh, clean, and sweetly herbal. This anise/minty quality lends a coolness to the fragrance and it almost seems to glow softly with iridescent colors or soft golden lights like a glow worm or fireflies, as it dries down. At the initial blast, it reminded me a lot of Dior Pure Poison but with what seemed like an anise/licorice note underneath. Then it turned almost candy-like (some people mentioned bubble gum, which I could see), at which point it started to remind me of Mugler Alien that has almost a minty note underneath. The notes say there's tuberose and orange blossom in it, but I swear I smell jasmine right up front (apparently it's just in the EDP), hence the echoes of Alien. Later on, the orange blossom becomes more prominent, preventing the sweetness from going over-the-top by adding some fresh, green notes. To me, L'Interdit EDT is a mashup of the best elements of Pure Poison, Alien, and Elie Saab Le Parfum. The only one of those three that I actually have a full bottle of is the original Elie Saab, because it can't be beat (in my experience, at least) for honey-orange blossom. As for the other two, to me, Pure Poison is not worth the price (and Jaipur Bracelet has a lot of similarities, for a lot less money) and Alien tips over into -- gasp! -- minty, fresh baby Pampers territory. But L'Interdit has the BEST elements of all three of those, and I can't resist! Also, a side note on tuberose: while I know there's tuberose in L'Interdit, because I always associate tuberose with the more banana-y note that you find in the original Michael Kors or Juicy Couture, I just don't smell it in L'Interdit; I guess I need to expand my concept of what tuberose smells like! The main note I notice in L'Interdit -- which now I realize must be tuberose -- is more akin to the sweet, pure smell of jasmine that's present in Alien, drying down soft, candy-like (bubble gummy?), and beautiful. My only issue with L'Interdit is that I wish it lasted longer on me before becoming a skin scent, after about 3 hours or so. I re-sprayed several times throughout my day of testing it, and I loved it every time. If I can find a bottle for a good price, I'll definitely add it to my collection. In search of better longevity, I'm interested in testing the EDP to see if it's as gorgeous and lasts any longer. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit: A year and a half down the road now, while I still enjoy the smell of L'Interdit, I recognize that I don't really want to smell like that. It's super pretty but maybe just a little too grape-y for me; the fruitiness overwhelms me (lately I've been very into florals, herbal scents, and spices). In fact, I've really been loving the flanker, L'Interdit Rouge, sooooo much. I will offer this lovely OG L'Interdit to my sister who I think will really enjoy it.

The EDP of this line is one of my favourite releases of the last few years. So, of course I had to give the EDT a chance. When it first came out, I just smelled it from the cap. In the fragrance section at the store, I didn't smell enough different from the EDP to excite me. I got a sample a little while later. When I tried it at home, without all the other fragrances exhausting my nose, I could appreciate the differences between the two. The EDT is the lighter fresher version with the same DNA as the EDP. Making it easier to wear in warmer weather. I don't know what poppies smell like, but the opening here is bright and fresh with just a hint of tartness. I would have believed the opening notes were the same as the EDP, just in a different form. I notice the musk as it settles into the skin. It's light and straddles the line between clean and animalic. I find this, like the EDP, a tuberose dominant fragrance with the tuberose present throughout the wear. The tuberose used here is my preffered type, it's more grapey than bubble-gummy. I don't distinctly smell the vetiver or the patchouli, but the fragrance has a pretty solid base, likely because of these two. The performance is pretty decent. The projection is quite good the entire time it lasts, it radiates beyond arm length and leaves a lovely and noticeable scent trail. The longevity has been variable for me. Sometimes as little as 4 hours and as long as 8 hours. It does help to get some on my clothes and just a tad generous with the application. I think the days I had better performance I added an extra spray once I got dressed. L'Interdit EDT is lovely warmer weather fragrance. Great for spring. The EDP is too heavy for me to wear in summer where I live. Our summers tend to be quite hot and humid and the EDP gets overwhelming and headache inducing for me during a season when thunderstorms already trigger my migranes. The EDT does work better for me in that weather, but I have to apply it with a light hand because it's still a bit of a bold fragrance. I like it best in spring and on warm summer days. But can be an all season fragrance. I find the cold doesn't smother it like can happen with some fragrances. This is a very feminine fragrance. It leans just a little mature, but grown woman mature rather than matronly or dated. The bottle is lovely and feels good quality. It's a simple design with heavy glass and a cap that fits well and clicks into place. the atomiser is quite nice. It dispenses a long, even, generous spray that helps me cover a lot of surface area which helps immensely with performance.

Magical TUBEROSE & ORANGE-BLOSSOM. I was first introduced to L'Interdit back in 2003 and instantly fell in love with it. This version opens with a burst of hazy floral/(poppy?), and already you can feel the tuberose & orange-blossom swelling through with sweet, white-floral & citrus-y tones. That deepens into the white-floral heart where tuberose is the star of the show supported by orange-blossom & musk, and brings creamy, green-banana, powdery, near-bubblegum & faintly animalic tones. This all rests on a vetiver-patchouli base with earthy, grassy & woody tones. Alongside, all of this is being diffused by petalia (not listed), which is more noticeable a few hours into the drydown. Overall I get a beautiful tuberose & orange-blossom scent that is really well blended and has excellent performance for year-round wear, but I would be most likely to wear this in spring & summer. Overall: gorgeous tuberose-orange-blossom scent with excellent performance. It's a longtime love for me. Homerun: 10/10. Enjoy! Contrast to L'Interdit EDP: These are different, although strikingly similar. The EDP has jasmine and is more intense overall (although I do get a jasmine note in this too though it's not listed), with a slightly more forward fruity quality and dries down with more vanilla. The EDP wears best in fall and winter while the EDT wears best in spring-summer. Contrast to Fakhar Rose Lattafa: This is a dupe of L'Interdit EDP Givenchy with good approximation and excellent performance. There is a faint coconut note in Fakhar Rose that some have noticed. Performance is roughly equivalent to the EDP. Contrast to L'Interdit 2003 Givenchy: These aren't identical, but very similar, and the 2003 version was what I first fell in love with. L'Interdit EDT 2019 is the closest to the 2003 version that I've smelt. L'Interdit EDT 2019 outperforms. Update 11/11/24: Sprayed this on today for poppy scent in honour of Remembrance Day. Hard to say what a poppy smells like, but I had forgotten how good this is. Love it alot. Bubblegummy tuberose at its best, complimented by orange-blossom and a smoky vetiver. I get some sweet fruity notes as well in this that read a bit red - maybe contributing to the poppy? Love, love, love. Update 11/13/24: two days later I can still smell this on clothes, so very longlasting.

I had to buy this one too to complete my collection (obssession) with l'interdit I first bought the intense one i loved it so much i had to buy the edp version, again i loved it to death i was so curious about this edt Oh my god! I was not disappointed 😍 love love love this edt as well Fresh floral sexy sweet crispy and the list can go on and on and on All three of l'interdit share the same DNA, the same bubble gummy tuberose but each one has it's own identity : - Edt for spring and summer! It's fresh and youthfull but the drydown is very musky - Edp for winter and fall! It's sweet and bubbly The pair associated with tuberose smells almost like a cherry - Edp intense for night outs and has a sexy smokey vanilla I love all three of them and are my fav perfumes at the moment, i'm quite surprised craving only these three out of my collection (i have almost 20 perfumes at the moment), normally i'm a huge fan of jasmin i love Olympéa and Alien Well i guess i just found my signature scent 🥰 This edt makes me think of an italian rich woman wearing a white dress and a big white hat walking out of her expensive car and leaving a trail of expensive floral perfume This edt smells like a rich female's perfume To me it smells like Gucci Bloom but more "young" and less sharp, i can wear l'interdit edt everyday but not Gucci Bloom 10/10 projection and sillage are the best of the 3 of the flankers even though it's an edt LOVE OBSSESSION Edit: don't over spray Even though it's an edt, the drydown is very musky and the poppy note is very prominent, i also get the smokiness of the vetiver WHAT A MASTERPIECE FOR FLORAL LOVERS 😍😍😍😍

I am not the target audience for such a fragrance. Heavy-set, dare I say 'bear-ish' man. But boy I love this fragrance. yes, Audrey Hepburn is my idol so of course I had to test some l'interdit. And I don't really buy in to scents being gendered, it's mostly just personal preferences. I will say, this is likely not the same formula from years gone by but either way. This EDT version, is pretty light and less aggressive with the jasmine (though this definitely does have some jasmine) - it will not last long but makes for a great everyday / office scent. Interestingly, though musk is a note they list, it's just not what I pick up (may be my nose, I'm so used to the scent of White Musk ala Body Shop) either way, I'm glad I don't because musk is a scent that just puts me off. Mirroring what others have said, it definitely has an almost citric opening but I'll be honest - this is a scent that smells best fully dried down. It mellows so plentifully to a great tuberose nose with vetiver and orange blossom giving a wonderful backing - with still an undertone of wet dog (positively :') ). It's one I find hard to describe - it's simply elegant but I think will come off as more sweet or musky to others. For me - 9/10 - I am a certified jasmine lover, so naturally whilst I love this, it's just a little down. 100% would buy a bottle, though maybe not a blind buy for everyone (always just try a sample). EDP is... imo better.

This perfume isn't my absolute favorite, but it is great for days when you want something light and close to the skin, great for work and a scent that won't offend anyone. It's a great first date fragrance, too! I could imagine wearing this from day to night. It's quite sweet and the notes listed here are all ones that I can smell quite easily, except I admit that I'm not quite sure what poppy really smells like? This perfume is fairly unique smelling and isn't a carbon copy of everything else there. It has a slight Hubba Bubba grape ripeness at the top on me that others are talking about, but I don't find it cloying. It almost is. I'm guessing that's the poppy note in this? The star of the show though are the tuberose, orange blossom and musk all equally. I don't think that any of these notes are stronger than the other. The orange blossom may be the more dominant one, now that I think of it? At the base I can smell the vetiver and patchouli, which makes it slightly earthy at the base for me, but not really woody in my opinion. I don't get any citrus like it's saying here, either. I think the base saves it as well from being cloying and going from slightly "meh" or "okay" to a solid 4 out of 5 stars fragrance. I keep on buying it again and again, since it doesn't offend anyone and it's an easy fragrance for sure.

After years of disappointment in most new designer fragrances, L'Interdit was a pleasant surprise! When it first arrived in my mailbox, I tested it on paper and was not impressed--it smelled like Smarties candies, which is not my jam. BUT... As expected, the scent changes a lot on the skin. The opening is sweeter than the notes suggest. I swear I smell strawberries and/or peaches? The soft, hazy poppy is a gorgeous, tender top note. There’s a smidge of powderiness, but not in a domineering or cosmetic-drawer kind of way. Then the white florals, which are joyful, bright, and buoyant, come forward with an exquisitely feminine vetiver and musk base. The gentle sweetness remains throughout. If you don’t like patchouli, don’t let that note turn you off. The patchouli here is not noticeable and definitely not dirty or heavy. As one who has been mostly interested in unisex or darker fragrances for some time, my enthusiastic delight with this one is quite a treat. The projection is fairly strong and the longevity impressive. Very feminine.

I'm really enjoying the L'Interdit range. I swear the EDT opens with a juicy pear note, even though it's not listed. It's effervescent and bright, almost like a refreshing pear and champagne cocktail, and becomes more floral as it warms on the skin. The tuberose has a green quality at first and is sweet and light, rather than the heavy, rich (sometimes buttery) vibe I get from other tuberose scents. There's definitely a sweetness to this scent, but it's not artificial-smelling or candy-like. L'Interdit EDT is easy going, yet put together and works beautifully in warmer weather. It's probably the most versatile from this range in terms of seasonality and being able to transition from day to night. I could easily see wearing this to a wedding/formal event or out to brunch on the weekend. A full bottle may very well be in my future.

I got a sample of L ́interdit EdT when I was buying some other perfume for my mom. Later that day and rather casually, I decided to spritz a bit on my wrist. My immediate reaction was “this is way too strong”, followed by, a minute later, a “what is this wonderful tuberose??". I left it at the office, on my desk, and 2 days later, when I went to reach for it I realized it was gone! Someone had knicked it! Well, that one spritz never left my olfatory memory and a few months later I saw a good deal online and bought the 80ml. I can say it is my new favourite. L ́interdit is a floral, fresh perfume with a twist of modernity. I think it is suitable to all ages, very wearable and highly addictive! I don ́t even mind some soapiness, I like it, actually. Although sillage is average on me, longevity is equal to many EdP I currently own.

I went to Ulta today with the sole mission of sampling this fragrance. I've tried the EDP, which was too strong/overwhelmingly sweet for me. I tried and fell in love with the Millesime version, but its poor longevity broke my heart. I read that the EDT version lasts as long as the EDP, or close to it, so I decided to explore this one. It's a love. It's been 8 hours and I think the scent has finally faded away. My Millesime lasted maybe 2 hours on my skin, so EDT is a huge improvement. Still has that intoxicating orange blossom/tuberose combo, but this is fresher somehow. Ignore that there's a "poppy" note listed. Whatever poppy smells like, I can't detect it anyway. This is more wearable to me than the EDP, especially for warmer temperatures, but in my opinion would be suitable in all seasons.

I think i might prefer this to the EDP. For an EDT, the projection and longevity is outstanding, and it’s relatively inexpensive. To me, this smells almost like a honey suckle! It’s a very beautiful white floral, and the tuberose stands out but it’s not a super heady tuberose. It’s sweet, sticky, and honey like and i almost smell a bit of orange blossom as well. This fragrance is elegant, playful and a little quirky but ultra feminine. My boyfriend loves this one on me as well. I think the patchouli is dialed down a bit compared to the EDP, which makes it a little easier to wear in my opinion. This would make a fantastic every day, signature scent for a woman of any age who has a playful, jovial personality!

I am not impressed by the other l'Interdit flankers and I don't get their hype, but this one is seriously a hidden gem. Do not judge it by smelling only from the bottle or the opening, the real magic is in the very dry down, that's why I spray it on my clothes the night before and only few sprays on my skin the same day because it's that much strong and long lasting. Delicious sweetness, flowery, woody and airy in the same time...everything I love. It is not complex or unique, just radiates confidence and "feel good" vibes, the more I wear it the more I fall in love with it. Definitely a repurchase. Edit: This fragrance makes me happy, I adore it!!

Strange, perfumes. They give me the illusion of having already smelled them elsewhere, hundreds of times, then they amaze me and disarm me with their own particular soul. There is a vegetable film wrapping the jus for a good half an hour, before it explodes in all its magnificence. I feel as of green vegetable, juicy tuber, then I take a look at the pyramid and wonder, poppy? I don't remember having a particular scent if not by rubbing the stem and petals, I don't know. I was struck by L'Interdit Edt, great scent of tuberose, extraordinarily good on my skin. Short note, longevity is a little lower than the Edp on me.

Olfactory notes from Givenchy homepage: top - Orange Blossom; heart - Tuberose, Pavot flower; base - Patchouli, Vetiver, Musk. L'Interdit edp version is a bit too loud and intense for me at least for now so I was very happy to find out that etd is more suitable, more wearable for me. I perceive the perfume as a lighter, fresher, more radiant version with more air and less sweetness in it. It has become one of my most favorite perfumes this Summer with a very good longevity (more than 10 hours on my skin) and moderate projection. It gives me a sense of deep, peaceful and calm pleasure all day long.

Totaly my cup of tea. White floral could easily trigger my migraine. But this perfume doesn't. This is the most realistic "purple grape" perfume i own😍. Bubblegummy yummy🥰. I enjoy this perfume from the first spray all the way to the dry down at the end of the day. The longevity exceed my expectation as it is an EDT, it survive a whole day work, even at the end of the day, while taking shower, i catched a wiffs from the opening and it pops up again due the heat from hot water. Perfect perfume which is comforting and yet lifting/cheering me up. Scent:9/10 Longevity:8/10

Stunner.... A nice pretty classy honeyed white floral scent. It smells great and all people who smelled it loved it. Reminds me of the opening of Elie Saab perfume, only the opening. I prefer the EDT to the EDP as it is a bit fresher and airier, BUT performance is very weak on me. Fall and Spring are the best times to wear it and it can be a signature scent or work scent. Surely a compliment getter dna. Edit: Givenchy L'interdit Intense EDP is even a better version of this.

I bought a bottle of the EDP when it was first launched, I like it but I could not wear it everyday, and definitely not in spring or summer I find it a bit heavy going tbh. The EDT however is absolutely beautiful it has depth to it but at the same time is light and airy whilst maintaining the L’Interdit DNA. I love the poppy top note, it’s exactly how I would like a poppy to smell if it actually had a fragrance of it’s own

The word I would give to this perfume is 'Graceful.' It is a gentle, uniquely floral and airy fragrance. Even though this isn't a perfume I would typically think of as for me, I bought it because it was so unique and pleasant. Since then it has grown to become one of my absolute favourites because of its versitillity. This would be the perfect work or interview fragrance, it is professional, sophisticated and clean.

This was love at first sniff. That normally never happens to me, but it did with L'Interdit. It's a beautiful and elegant scent, which makes me want to continuously smell my wrist. I'm not a fan of patchouli, but I don't smell it here. I prefer the EDT to the EDP and the Intense versions - the EDT is less sweet and fresher, even though its performance is similar to EDP's. Love, love, love it.

This is my "office sent". On clothes this lasts forever. It lasts just as long as the EdP but this is just lighter and easier to wear on a every day basis. I get that its not for everyone but if you can pull this off it's fabulous and pretty unique. This is a perfume you notice but not in a heavy way. Two sprays gets you a long way. It gives me mature affair women vibes. Love it!

Definitely on my want list! Generally florals are too heavy for me and just trigger feelings of hayfever. This is great. Light and sweet with a freshness...but not that weird chemical fresh aquatic scents have. It's a little like Elie Saab Le Parfum EDT but without the grandma gardenia. It also seems to be a more grown up Marc Jacobs Daisy Love. Perfect for spring

Such a feminine, classy, and non-offensive perfume. I thought that the performance of it was bad. However, I received so many compliments on it that proved people around me could smell it. It works so nice in warm weather, and it’s also a great choice for work or uni. Too bad it’s discontinued.

For those who don’t like the stronger versions of L’Interdit, this perfume is made for you. It’s pure, clean, and perfect for a woman who is sensitive, classy, and subtle. The scent is delicate and refined, not overpowering at all. My only complaint is that it doesn’t last long on my skin.

Very classy and long-lasting. This reminds me of Narciso Rodriguez For Her EDT. It is glamorous, classy and brash without being too loud. Most would generally prefer for the night. It's a new love of mine. While it may be a bit pricey I'd rate great value as one spray is all you need.

LOST AND NOW FOUND!!! A gem in disguise for this masterpiece from Givenchy as most of the time they rarely pull it off!!! Strong, sweet and oud inspired-----but definitely not for teenagers... A must have, it will not disappoint... 8.9/10

Wow! I much prefer this new EDT. As its nowhere as dull as the EDP, which is pretty, but rather lackluster. The EDT is way more youthful and bolder with crisper notes. That are all individual but at the same time intertwined. I love it 💝

Just got mine and first impressions are: classy, elegant, timeless. Like a bouquet of fresh white flowers. This is something I imagine Audrey Hepburn wearing. It has a vintage vibe to it, which I love. I adore.

Love at first smell. To me it smells a lot like JPG Classique Intense, but it is more intense and lasts longer. Every time I wear it I feel so confident, it really empowers me. And I feel sexier too:)

I bought it after watching a review that said it smells like grape candy. not disappointed. it really does smells like grape candy. its light and fresh, perfect for everyday use.

The edt smells like men's cologne thats why i like it. Very longlasting and projecting. Fresh and uplifting. Suitable for office men or women.

There's no fruit listed anywhere in the notes, but I swear I smell fruit in this. Does anyone else get that vibe?

Okay so, I wanted to badly to love L’interdit because it’s so highly praised! I tried the EDP and I really could not get behind it. It didn’t work on my skin at all. I decided I would try the EDT and wow, okay, I get it! This is really really good. It smells like juicy grapes, but a little musky and I don’t really get ‘floral’ because the orange blossom and tuberose are really translating to grapes for my nose. The vetiver and patch really ground this and save it from being an overly sweet grape bomb. It’s still a grape bomb! Don’t get me wrong- but it’s balanced appropriately. I will say that this fragrance can be overwhelming if oversprayed. Luckily the lasting power is fantastic and as an EDT preforms better than a lot of my EDPs. I was put off by this association to grape that I kept reading about because personally, I think grape is just so random to want to smell like. It took me a while to even consider testing this product because I was just so uninterested by this notion of ?grapes? ... then I tried it and I got it! It’s unique, and it’s definitely different but this grape vibe is definitely a vibe. I suggest trying it out! And I suggest comparing the EDT and EDP before you buy, because the EDT is softer and brighter and for some that might work a lot better :) Cheers!

L’interdit EDT (9J01, Sept 2019, USD 43) Male Skin, First Impression L’interdit EDT is new territory for me as wish to try sweet white floral fragrance and strong in Tuberose note. It seems I can agree with Tuberose quite fine. At first it is bombastic, Crisp Tuberose screams out of skin and it is fairy sweet, underneath it had Indolic aspect for it. Transitioning to middle, it starts adding powdery feel, I think it is combination of Poppy with Woody note adding this fragrance becomes more powdery. As it develops to the base, the mild cooling patchouli and overdose of black musk reminds me of Guerlain Black Perfecto. However patchouli is much more mild and Tuberose aspect blends enchantingly into the mix. The scent has moderate density, airy and fairy jump well off skin. I think this can be use by Male user who not afraid of Tuberose as well. Score 8/10 (Sweet Indolic Tuberose with Musk is compliment pair quite well in simplicity) Projection : Moderate high Longevity : Classification : Feminine (Femme 80% / Male 20%) Female user can find mild patchouli note leans masculine

Has the original EDP's DNA but it feels lighter. I don't get the mysterious, dark and poised vibe that the EDP exudes. It's a great alternative for L'Interdit in the summer imo, but on my skin the clean and almost uplifting tuberose turns into vetiver, giving me a classic masculine vibe. It still smells good but I don't vibe with it on me. One thing that impressed me however, was how close it smelled to actual, dry vetiver roots. Being of West African origins, I grew up with my mom infusing vetiver roots in water for us to drink. It makes the water taste really good and it has interesting health benefits, especially for girls and women. The dry down of L'Interdit EDT immediately made me think of vetiver-infused water in the sense that it felt like a soft, watery & a tad bit earthy vetiver accord. I made my mom smell my wrist and she immediately agreed. Over all, projection is low to moderate but longevity is really good for an EDT. It turns into a skin scent quite quickly but it lingers many hours on skin.

My idea was that since there are also local fragrantica versions, then those can be used for native language reviews. And as you stated, since this is an international site, then in here post reviews in English so we can all understand without using G..e Translate. I mean, it makes much more sense for the poster to use a translator if neccessary and then post the review than for everyone else to do so after it's posted. Or maybe post the review in English and the native language if the idea is to promote oneself through this platform as some do. My coworker told me I smelt like grape Hubba Bubba, which I personally really enjoy the smell of. I can see where she was coming from; if you didn't know what you were smelling, you would probably think of grape flavouring. But I will say it's not at all synthetic. It's a very smooth and sophisticated scent in spite of this. I love this and am considering buying a bottle. The only downside is it feels odd to wear if you get sweaty from work or hot weather. Definitely a cooler weather fragrance for days where you aren't running around. Projection is great; my coworker could smell me from half a meter away, which is where I prefer my scents to linger, so it's not too cloying or invasive. Longevity is phenomenal, and I could smell this on my clothes the next day with still quite an impactful strength. Only two sprays really needed.

The perfect match for the edp. This one screams daytime and joy, while the other says night, cocktails, a ball at a fancy mansion. It’s pure tuberose with neroli and jasmine, from top to heart. I can’t feel the poppy, the tuberose remains all the way until it’s joined and wrapped by the warm and luscious musk, a very restrained patchouli and a fresh but subtle vetiver. It’s modern but classy, chic and adorable. Wonderful for springtime and autumn. Maybe also good for a cool summer day, but not for hot weather. Don’t overspray it, just as with the edp that could become cloying and suffocating when over applied. Properly applied both are beautiful. It’s not Audrey...but it’s Funny Face. Adorable!

Likely, this isn't a total and absolute love, this isn't THE parfume, but this indeed a very pleasant and solid fragrance. I like it, really there isn't nothing to say against interdit EdT. Maybe it doesn't have the wow factor, but it is a nice and well balance combination of a lot of ingredients I really enjoy: tuberose, orange blossom, jasmine (even if not listed, I detect it) and vetiver. I don't get many patchouli, and this is fine for me, since I don't like it too much. Vetiver, with its earthyness and a hint of woodsy, gives that touch making Interdit a bit recignizable in a sea of thousands of white floral fragrances. Yeah, vetiver is so an underrated element in feminine fragrances!

I tried this at Ulta as I'm waiting for my sample vial. It is lovely, and there is nothing objectively wrong with the fragrance, but it is missing something so hypnotic in the EDP. The EDT is similar with less sweetness, more spice, and more of a "mature" vibe. It has a touch of bubblegummy sweetness, but it doesn't have that drydown of grapey; sugar-sweet narcotic bubblegum incensey honey-peared floral of the EDP. Both the EDP and EDT are best at the drydown, when things are sweeter and mellower. I think this is a matter of personal preference, as I am a relatively young person with a huge sweet tooth in fragrance. (Honestly it's surprising how the EDP kept me sniffing so much).

It wasn't a love at first sniff. Wasn't even a like but I do a blind buy knowing the risk and the slightly lengthy process of testing it out before giving it a hard pass... at least for me anyway. It was so strong to a point that it gave me a headache. I'm an over sprayer so I gave it another shot and I tried spraying much less than I normally would and it worked! Still it wasn't wowing me. During the summer I wore this just because I had to use it up. Then it dawned on me... I've been always on a look out for a good floral fragrance that can perform well in the winter months and this is it! I've yet to test it in cold weather but I'm definitely excited to use this now.

This EDT smells very similar to the EDP. The EDT is Linear and the EDP has more depth. I would compare the EDT and EDP version to the likes of Chanel Coco Madamoiselle EDT vs EDP and Burberry Brit EDT vs EDP. Not that they smell anything like these fragrances, no, but in the comparison that they are pretty much the same fragrance with only minor differences. So if you have one there is no reason to get the other, unless the EDP is your signature fragrance and you want the EDT for when it’s too warm for the EDP. Or if the original is too much for you then you might want to try the EDT.

Comparing to EDP this EDT is less round and creamy, more floral and musky, very pleasant and lingering, with great projection. I would say in terms of longevity and sillage these two scents don't differ much, they are just different in nuances. EDT is fresher and more linear, EDP is more complex and sophisticated. As a man I prefer EDT (not on me , of course), it has very youthful, dazzling spirit. The same thing for me happens with many famous perfumes of the past - I prefer Chanel 5 much more as EDT than EDP or perfume, etc.

had a sample of this and damn what a pleasant surprise! different from the original L'Interdit - I actually might prefer this one. this is flirty and vibrant but still undeniably classy. a lady walking around art museum in heels but secretly eating sour candy from her bag with a smirk. very well balanced scent overall - the orange blossom and tuberose are the main characters here but I don't mind. sillage isn't overwhelming but this still lasts long, especially on clothes. on my wishlist!

This was for very long on my wishlist but I kept receiving samples of this fragrance. The thing is that it smells amazing but it is very loud and sweet spicy but voluptous fragrance. It is like that friend that you absolutely love to see but she is always talking and always on like a duracelbunny and I just feel glad when the visit comes to end and I can have some space. For that reason, it just is not a perfume that I need a full bottle of. It is too much for me.

Sparkling and elegant This perfume is really a pleasant breath of spring, it is really an excellent mix of freshness, sweetness and femininity. It is floral, musky and sweet, but in an elegant and never intrusive way, very easy to wear and suitable for all ages. In the dry-down it becomes more enveloping and more sensual, but maintains its lightness and sparklingness throughout the day, with a truly remarkable longevity that makes it perfect for everyday use!

This powerful floral reminds me of my grandmother. She was wildly popular, vibrant, friendly to everyone, and she always smelled wonderful. This version of L’Interdit is a full-bodied white floral, slightly grapey, maybe Amarige and Giorgio’ love child. I do not like it for me but I am fortunate enough to have my grandmother with me at 96 years so I will gift this to her. I look forward to hugging her when she’s wearing this timeless perfume.

The EDT reminds me of the Ange ou Demon line. It's quite unique. It's a fresh, clean, woody scent and shares equal strength with the white florals. A little bit sweet but only a little. Sillage is good, I catch the scent as I move. It's a very classic, elegant, rich scent. I see this more for a mature woman. I do see the Audrey Hepburn elegance in this fragrance.
