L'Interdit Édition Millésime

So I have this for test right now, and on first sprits I am a happy camper. It's a great symphony of notes, right off the bat I can smell the orange blossom and almond milk making it's music with the sharper ginger that adds a fresher, more earthy trail throughout the song. It's fresh, mysterious and somewhat sassy, but in a shy way. Not at all a powerhouse. And that's kind of where it falls flat for me, literally. After the dry down it's a scent so close to my skin that I have to search for the exact spot where I sprayed it. I can imagine this to be a perfume for someone that is not a wallflower, but not a loud lass for that matter either. Someone that sits in the back, unmistakably beautiful, but not at all wanting to take advantage of that fact. She's waiting, for that special person to come close enough to enjoy her beauty in all its facets. All in all. I love it, but the longevity and poor silage to me is a no-no. I'm loud and direct, my perfume should reflect that.

This is nice. Smells expensive. I think I like it better than the EDP version, which is a bit too strong and sickly sweet for my taste. To be clear, this is also sweet, but I feel like the bitter orange tempers that grape candy sweetness a bit. This is very strong orange blossom. I was hoping to pick up more tuberose, but it's an orange blossom bomb. I'm wearing it now, but not sure it's good for summer heat. A bit too sweet and heady. Sillage and longevity are both good on my skin, though not as good as the EDP. I would say if you own the EDP they are alike enough that you don't need this version. Edit 7/19/21: Oh boy. I'm in trouble. The more I wear this, the more I fall in love. I live in the Midwest and it's hot and humid right now, so I take back what I said about wearing it in summer heat. It's beautiful and doesn't overwhelm. Just gorgeous.

Hubba hubba, who’s your mamma! Ok so in the middle this version is veeery similar to the edp scent. The top of this is rounded tuberose, loud, whafty, creamy, eraser like, bubblegummy. I detect a little orange, more like a tiny bit of the peel, this whole scent is wet and lush though, the ginger is adding a touch of white floral mixed spice, the base notes make this one grounded and doesn’t evaporate off the skin like some florals do. It remains cool but approachable, for me it’s delicious, a non gourmand but maybe when you’re baking and adding orange essence to the batter and there’s creamy and buttery, a little sweet you can smell it as you’re mixing... there’s no green, yet between the layers the florals keep it fresh, like a bouquet. Not a normal floral. I’d love to test it up against the edt, edp, and the intense one

This is my signature scent, and for a reason. I get so many compliments when i wear this! It is warm but also cool, fresh but also a bit raunchy. It is also super sophisticated and mature. It is safe for everyday wear but also a good one for nights out! I can understand everyone saying it's not far from the original. However, i think this one gets underestimated by alot of people. For me personally, the drydown of this version is so much juicier with alot more character than the others. If you love the original and/or the intense, i would definitely give this one a try if they still have them in stock :)

I'm coming back to review this again because I think it's criminal how little attention this flanker gets compared to the others. I own full bottles of the Intense, the EDT, and this one. I also have a decant of Rouge. I think this is the best of the L'Interdits. It just hits that sweet spot for me with the citrus, ginger, orange blossom and tuberose. It is so gorgeous and classy and can be worn in any weather, any time of the day, for any occasion. I love this entire line, but if I had to get rid of them all except for one, Millesime would be the one that stays (Intense coming in at a close second).

It was just a "like" when I bought it and became a total love. I find it much better than the original L'Interdit. The orange blossom comes out more and compliments the tuberose so nicely. So elegant and refined, more ladylike than girly. It is not totally similar to Twilly d’Hermès but gives the same vibes. I find it a bit more bubblegummy than Twilly. Unfortunately it is just a limited Edition. I usually try not to stock up on fragrances (my taste changing too often) but I might make an exception for this one. If you love Tuberose/white florals try it as long as you can.

I have all of the fragrances in this range and this one is my only regret. It is too similar to the original in the opening and then dries down to the Intense version. I am obsessed with this range, and love the fact that it is underrated. If you have the original and the Intense you do not need this

This one doesn’t stray far from the OG, just as sophisticated and pretty. However to my nose the orange blossom is way more present here smells like straight orange blossom water to me and I love it!

I like this 100 times better than the EDP version. I ordered both and gave away the EDP after the first sniff.

I would take the neroli in this one over pear in the original any day, since I am not a pear fan, so this one wins for me. Although, the original lasts longer.

This a first impression review. I only wore it twice. I figured I would post it anyway since there are no others so far. 1) This is a cross between the original, the EDT and the Intense. 2) It begins with the sweet orange blossom + patchouli of the original one. There is also a perfumey jasmine note that smells like the classic florals of the 80s. I haven't noticed this in the previous ones. 3) Mid reminds me of the EDT. A classic, fresh and musky bar of soap. 3) Drydown is similar to the Intense version in the black bottle. Sweet vanilla and vetiver. It is pretty. I don't believe I love any of the L'Interdits but I keep coming back to them. To give you an idea, I own the original, the EDT, the Intense and I'm probably going to buy this one too. They are some of the few fragrances in the market that remain smooth and do not trigger any headaches on me. I dislike an overabundance of ambroxan and thankfully they don't seem to do that with this collection, at least not that I can notice. I am partial to citruses and light florals so my favorite is the EDT. My least favorite is the Intense because of all the patchouli. I hope this helps. Edit: I bought a bottle. It became my favorite version.

This perfume is ok but I'd say out of the 3 linterdit range I've tried so far as perfume samples the original linterdit and the linterdit rouge are a lot nicer and are better made the top notes too me with this perfume are just to strong too overpowering straight away yr overwhelmed by an overload of bitter orange and ginger I think if they'd of used a sweeter orange and less ginger it wouldn't be too much to deal with even though the top notes do start fading away a bit after a whilst ive decided it's not for me

Hm... blind bought and kind of regret. Though it does smell good, I doubt most people could tell the difference between the original and this (at least, someone who isn't in to fragrance). The other formulations are close enough to where I dont think you *need* this, unless you are a super fan of the l'interdit line. The longevity is poor though, I probably sprayed it 10 sprays on clothes and body and it lasts maybe 2 hours... will probably end up selling it.

This smells just like the original EDP however it's also reminding me of earl grey tea, which I think is the Neroli. So if you are looking for a fragrance that smells refreshing and calming like earl grey (which I was) then try this! From the notes I wouldn't have expected that.

If you have 'and the world is yours' by lab on fire this is a close dupe of it. Comes off pretty synthetic and thin.

Cannot wait to get my nose on this , I love all the L’Interdits!
