Silver Coast

I agree with the previous review that Silver Coast is a throwback to all the freshies we loved in the 90's. It's a citrusy aquatic that smells like Cool Water's or Nautica's younger, 3-note brother. What I like about this is that they didn't go too heavy on the rosemary, so it's not too masculine for a woman to wear. A true unisex fragrance, at an economical price, that can work for all ages. Good Chemistry would be a good line to start with for a young person still exploring their scent preferences.

It is what I want my imaginary significant other to smell like. It doesn't stay on too long, so plan to have to reapply. But it is the perfect unisex scent. It makes me feel calm and powerful.

Silver Coast was a last-minute blind purchase for me. I am not a fan (so far) of the Mineral Desert, so I decided to get the Silver Coast. It's a safe, clean, fresh, aquatic unisex scent. Stacia79 hit the nail on the head-- this is a good option for young men just starting out with cologne. For women, it dries down to a light, clean, and fresh scent that is not as masculine as I feared it would be. This is safe for daily wear in any environment (including the office) and can be worn in any season. The reason this wouldn't be a repurchase for me is: 1) its lasting power is absolute garbage. Even when sprayed on clothing (which is supposed to extend its performance). It's gone within 30 minutes (or less). This is not my experience with all my other Good Chemistry frags. 2) There's nothing remarkable or unique about this scent. While I don't have something that smells exactly like it, I have several other fragrances that smell similar to it, so it's pretty forgettable. Regardless, it's still a highly pleasant and clean fragrance that smells amazing on clean, moisturized skin.

This is a fresh, clean, natural scent on guys. As a girl, I even liked it on myself. It's inoffensive and doesn't strike me as a particularly masculine scent. I actually went into Target expecting to fall in love with Mineral Desert because I grew up in the desert, but that one has too much of a strong acrid mineral scent for my liking. This one, though, was fresh, with sea notes and a hint of sweetness. As Stacia79 already noted, this would be a safe blind buy for any man, and would be a great foray into fragrances for a young man. It's affordable and all-around pleasant.

Good Chemistry’s Silver Coast is youthful, cool, confident, and fresh. It’s clean, salty sea spray with a bit of sour (not sweet) citrus and herbal rosemary. It would work well as a unisex daytime summer fragrance for any occasion. It is a little generic to be honest, and I should note that as a gourmand lover, I’m going to be biased, so take what I say with a grain of salt. Luckily it’s a lighter cologne, so less headache inducing if you’re anything like me and experience a general aversion to fragrances like this one for daily use. It gives me the impression of an attractive young man discovering his sense of fashion and fragrance, dressing up to charm new acquaintances at chic summertime outings. Thus, it’s my preferred choice for professional summertime events, though it’s an equally well suited option for sport and leisure. I don't particularly favor it for any other purposes. Another gift from my father who doesn't quite realize I dislike many fresh fragrances he loves.

Your basic aquatic-citrus-aromatic blend. Smells nice but not extremely unique. You've smelled this before in fragrances like Acqua di Gio. Not groundbreaking in any way, but a nice affordable version of that type of smell. Would make a safe blind buy for a man, it's safe for the office or anywhere else. Not going to turn heads but you'll smell appropriate and well groomed. Would be a good starter for a young person on a budget just building up their fragrance wardrobe. This is the basic white shirt of colognes.

I purchased this for my middle school aged son who's just become interested in wearing fragrance. I think this is perfect for that. I looked online at the notes before we went to Target, and figured this would be the best option that would be appropriate for his age. I wasn't disappointed. This was his favorite out of the bunch, too. The rosemary really comes out on his skin, and is herbaceous and lovely.

This one smells like Adidas Moves for Her and has a bit less longevity. Nostalgic 90's throw back, inoffensive, clean, and short lived. For the price, it's fine, but I would not purchase a full size.

All that i get is citrus and lots of it. Much stronger than I imagined for a fragrance made with essential oils found in the Target beauty section. Definitely get an Aqua Amara vibe.
