Gucci Bloom Ambrosia di Fiori

This is a treasure find for me. I remember that first commercial for Gucci Bloom ambrosia. They built it up with advertising a few months before it hitting the shelves. They did it sneakily. First the occasional billboard type with no text Just beautiful bohemian style setting with flowers and vines trendling down. In what appears to be Eutopia or Eden. While a natural spring water pool/pond have exotic blooms floating asa few lucky lovely ladies get to bathe in what is the most intoxicating floral bath one could imagine. Then, it just says BLOOM. It was only here and there at first But then the adverts subliminally hit television usually evening. Magazines, of course advertising posters. Increased gradually. All I know is I had my alarm set for the day it came out and the time. Believe it or not. The only store that carried it was Macy's. The Gucci store didn't even have it. Nor the website.There were no samples available. I got .y bottle. It's worth every single penny. It doesn't have just Honeysuckle. It has Rangoon Creeper. (In the same family) Where generic Honeysuckle smells like a straightforward white flower. Rangoon smells like white flower, creamy jasmine, and a slight maraschino undertone way down deep. It's also made with Orris butter. That gives it a briocche sweet bread, sweet cream scent. Yes you get Tuberose A nice floral, creamy and smooth tuberose. (Nothing heavy, animalistic sk*nky-type) Jasmine is a fresh green, and wet jasmine. The Quality, Silage, projection and longevity are phenomenal. Especially for a designer fragrance. This could compete with a nìche house easily. If could compare it to any other perfume. It would be very very close to Amouage Love, Tuberose. If you have one you don't need the other. IMHO, the selection pyramid is not accurate I think because many people may be familiar with essential oils and not the actual flower. Also, Maybe they are not familiar with the Rangoon Creeper scent and it's notes Or the difference between Orris and Orris butter. I think it would change the pyramid a bit. Because the Creeper and tuberose are evenly matched. But the creeper is most noticeable of all the flowers Especially at first. The orris stands out very well. I think it's overlooked because it's Orris butter from living Orris. Which gives the perfume a sweet, cream delectable note. Unlike "garden-variety" orris. Which is powdery scent most people are familiar with. This is definitely one of my very favourite perfumes.

Honestly? This is like a little slice of heaven for me. Heaven. This perfume centers around a spiced tuberose. Along with that I can smell mainly honeyed white flowers (lily, jasmin?) and woods. It's so fresh, I could swear I can actually smell the pollen. I become a bee. I find it vegetal, dry. Botanical, humid, exotic. I see little red and black frogs on pods. I feel engulfed by tropical greens. My best friend finds a heady incense and rose. Two sides of the spectrum? Maybe that's part of the magic. Signature scent worthy. Love it so that I sought and bought the main, original GUCCI Bloom along with the yellow (mustard) coloured version, Profumo Di Fiori. Neither smell enough like this. The original actually makes me nauseous shortly into the wearing. At first I can handle it (petals in water, captured by the ad campaign) but after a short while it becomes unbearable for me (muggy, muddled, too sweet). We're incompatible. Something in the original doesn't mesh well with my senses and makes me feel incredibly queasy. The mustard is nice enough but perhaps too much like a mix of this one and the original, along with a laaaarge helping of Ylang-ylang. Too much of the original in there and not enough of this one. They're both very dewy and pitch potent. This version is perfection for me. Other than being comparatively soft in projection. It is a concern that if it were stronger I may not find it quite so alluring. This is special to me, genuinely like a little slice of heaven. This is the only way I can describe it. I have honestly dabbled with the idea of having it be my signature scent and would recommend it as such to others. It is a real beauty, a top favourite. Only wish I'd backed up and bought two more bottles of this instead of taking the blind plunge topple, getting myself those others thinking they might be just as good. I got it right first time.

A randomly received (unwanted) sample of this in a Sephora order is what got me sticking my nose into perfumes after decades of avoiding them. To me, this is stunning. It is so unabashedly floral, a true ambrosia of some of my favorite flowers in all their beauty. I feel like this evolves to give each flower a turn to shine, sparking a lifetime of memories and associations. Such beautiful scents bring memories of happy moments, as the gardenias of my childhood, the jasmine growing outside a former lover's window, the honeysuckle of a single sun-soaked summer, roses which have sprinkled my life on various occasions. These are not memories of perfumes but of the flowers themselves, gifts from nature that have given me real happiness from their beautiful existence. It's difficult for me to express exactly what I mean, but some of those memories were moments of beauty and happiness stolen from darker realities. Whatever else was happening, my gosh, those flowers smelled glorious. The florals are rich and beautifully balanced, the evolution is a kaleidoscope of exquisite specimens brought forward in turn until they combine into the sparkling sweetness of buttery orris. I can feel something like pollen on my skin. I am savoring my tiny sample, and every time I take it out and apply it, I have to stop everything I'm doing and drink in this precious magic. I get drunk on its beauty and whatever else is happening, my gosh, this fragrance smells glorious. I haven't tried the original or any other flankers and I don't want to, I'm not willing to risk how this makes me feel. I love white florals and have others, but nothing like this. It is all floral and quite sweet on my skin, but it lives in a class all its own.

I have absolutely no regrets blind buying this fragrance bc out of nowhere i wanted a tuberosey fragrance that makes me feel all old-school glamour and ofc i had to trust my gut and snag one. but then again it was quite obvious that i was gonna LOVVEEE it beforehand bc I'm familiar with heady floral dnas like this--it's just that i needed something tuberose-leaning. it starts off vegetal, bitter, and green but it warms up very quickly to its honey-like, gummy, and voluptuous tuberose heart that's beautifully dosed with indole, which makes it sultry, thick, and velvety. The rose and orris are just there to give it a warm, powdery, and soapy base. it's such a comforting scent because it reminds me so much of a mother's love? LMAO. please take this with a grain of salt: I remember sampling balenciaga’s rosabotanica when i was wayy wayyy younger (literally a child) and weirdly enough, with the not-so-helpful help of my blurry memory sniffing that fragrance, i think ambrosia di fiori reminds me of it. it also reminds me a bit of the plasticky doll head accord that i get from vintage ysl paris' suffocating powdery florals maybe a bit of alien-ish paradoxe-esque l'interdit-ian thrown in there too? LOLLLLLLL or maybe that's kind of a reach. who knows maybe it's also giving mugler aura + ck eternity for women ummm idk whatever. whatever it is, it's a sweet, honeyed, tuberose-heavy, powdery, aldehydic white floral bouquet of a fragrance that reminds me of fur coats.

This flanker of Gucci Bloom is so much better and more realistic smelling than the original perfume from this line... the original Gucci Bloom smelt so synthetic and sickly sweet to me but Gucci Bloom Ambrosia di Fiori smells like a lush bouquet of white flowers! If you like honeysuckle and tuberose, you will LOVE THIS!!! It as all about these two white florals in this fragrance and all of the other notes in this just buoy the smell of these two flowers up and enhances them. I next get a good dose of jasmine, but it never overpowers anything else in this perfume and I find this really well balanced. I also think that the addition of orris root in the base was a BRILLIANT idea and it added some depth to this perfume without drowning out the florals with woody notes. I get a tiny hint of a very romantic and lush pink rose too, but it is only just a hint. This fragrance also had a moderate sillage on me and was not too strong or too light a sillage and it lasted just over 7 hours on my skin. I thought that it was a lovely and feminine fragrance and I could imagine wearing this either day or night during the spring or the fall to really enhance those floral notes. I give this fragrance altogether an 8.5/10. It is worth spending money on a full bottle of this and I think that it is the only Gucci Bloom you will ever need!

I was out shopping today for birthday presents for our friends' daughter in Kohl's and of course I'm going to take a peek in Sephora. I haven't been able to sample to many of the Gucci Bloom line because they are always under lock and key at Ulta and the last time I was at Sephora Bloom Ambrosia is always sold out. Now I like the original Bloom but I thought it lacked depth, and the one in the yellow bottle gave me a headache w/ all the solar notes so I hated that one. But when I smelled Ambrosia, I knew I found the Bloom flanker for me, and I bought the last bottle they had on the spot. The salesgirl said it is one of their best sellers and I can see why. This is a divine tuberose perfume and blows most of what is for sale at the beauty counters out of the water. Gorgeous honeysuckle and jasmine start you off but when you get to that creamy and lush tuberose in the heart it is like pure heaven. The buttery orris and slightly powdery rose give a nice and lasting finish for this heavenly perfume. This is gorgeous and well worth the money. This is a year round signature scent. Ambrosia is buttery, lush, floral sweet (not candy or fruit sweet) musky and divine. A very feminine perfume. Beautiful. Edit:4/21/22 Ambrosia di Fiori lasts all day w/out reapplying. Well worth the money.

This is a phenomenal fragrance that I had a tango with at first. I sprayed in store, fell in love, bought it , but when I got it home and sprayed it amd went in for work, my first impression was that I couldn’t pick out any single note from the incredibly well blended floral composition. So creamy, tiny dusty heavy floral. Beautiful but so blended that in the first week I couldn’t imagine wearing this and not really being able to smell the notes in it. It was like i was in the scent cloud and couldn’t smell it from inside. And something felt stuffy to me that week. It bothered me that there wasn’t a stand out scent so I impulsively gave the bottle to my coworker when she complimented the scent. When she started showing up to work wearing it I was like what is that gorgeous smell on you?? ... it was the bottle of ambrosia I gave her 😂🤷♀️💀so I found a small one on super sale and picked it back up again. If you’re in to floral like me, this is the perfect date night cozy winter feeling floral that almost feels like a vanilla amber but isn’t at all, and has nothing masculine about it. I needed to just use correctly to appreciate! And I learned not to layer this one... Anyway 10/10 for me.

I didn't think I needed this since I have Bloom edp and Bloom Profumo De Fiori, but after trying it at Sephora and wearing it for the rest of the day, I found it different enough from both where it was worth purchasing a small bottle. Unlike PDF this is primarily a white floral with a touch of rose. The orris is adding a softness to this fragrance, but no powder. The honeysuckle is keeping it fresh. On me it wears like a bright, cold cream white floral which I found uncomplicated and easy, yet a little provocative at the same time. Very versatile. Can easily go from day to night with ease. I think out of all the flankers, this has the best performance, with great projection and longevity. Could be a pretty fragrance for a bride who doesn't want to have to think about reapplying perfume One of the things I love about the Bloom perfume bottles are the sprayers, which give great application control. Maybe those who think it is too strong might be hitting the sprayer too hard. If lightly depressed it puts out little puffs of perfume for a softer effect.

Gucci is absolutely KILLING it with these releases. Morillas is a damn genius. Although I *think* I prefer Profumo Di Fiori slightly, I adore this as well and I'm thankful to get to try it on! Longevity&sillage are good. Profumo is like...a languid, sticky tuberose affair on an early September evening. It's golden, naturalistic, hazey, and a little narcotic. Ambrosia however, is a gorgeously romantic, chilly evening spent indoors with your paramour on the end of winter and edge of spring. It's velvety loveseats, fresh bedding, open windows to the brisk night air, and wafts of manicured gardens. I easily detect as much jasmine tuberose, but not nearly as much honeysuckle. This one smells a little more like the original Bloom than Profumo does. The florals are everything, and they're beautiful, but not too *prettied up*, you know? It actually makes me feel some type of way...it's truly lovely. Just...lovely. 🥺

HONEYSUCKLE! So much honeysuckle. The top note was sweet, too sweet tbh. When that died back after about 5 minutes what was left behind was honeysuckle. Clean, true, fresh, bright honeysuckle. Four hours on and it's mellowed a bit, but it's still there. The notes say the basenote is Orris root, " powdery earthy rooty scent, with woody, violet flower nuances" and OK, seems right enough. We'll say that's what's balancing the honeysuckle for the afternoon part of this now closer to the skin scent experience. This was a skin test while popping in and out of stores on a snowing, 25F degree day. All of that can impact the scent experience, but under these circumstances I loved it. Such a great, true scent contrast with what was going on around me. I like the original Bloom and this one make sense to me as a flanker. Same base, same personality, but the prominence of the notes has been changed. Loved it.

This is the most beautiful fragrance I have smelled in the last few years. If you love white florals. I would say if you’re wanting a Gucci Bloom fragrance please get this one. Not that the original isn’t good but this version is just that extra indulgence I was looking for. It’s different enough to own. The opening is similar to the original but very quickly you can tell the jasmine is softened by ROSE and honeysuckle and there is a powdery softness from the orris root which is the root of the Iris flower. The dry down is sweeter and very velvety, the tuberose is incredible with the rose. it’s so creamy and a little heavier but not cloying. It’s not indolic or animalic. It’s like warm white flowers with Bulgarian rose petals and heavy cream. It’s so comforting and exceptionally well blended. A true masterpiece. Thank you Gucci. God I wish I got the big bottle!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I really enjoy this scent: it’s sweet, powdery, floral so it’s fairly easy to love if like me you like that classic style feminine scent. Lasts a good amount of time for a white floral as well. However, for the price it isn’t super interesting, I’ve smelt cheaper perfumes that would be just as nice for daily wear. This is also one of those perfumes you’ve definitely smelt before (or at least it’s similar enough to the other Bloom flankers that it feels that way). I’d shill out for something like Do Son as a warm, smooth floral over this one. Edit: So I’ve actually come to really like this scent, and found a discounted bottle so have bought a full size. It’s like wearing a cashmere sweater, fluffy and comforting. Because it isn’t super complex, it’s easy to wear at any time and stays on clothes smelling nice for days. Maybe I was a bit harsh in my initial review 😅

Bloom Ambrosia is intoxicating. Upon first spritz is a bit sour for about half a minute. I am not sure why but it is. Perhaps it is the Rose note. Then all of a sudden it hits me. A lavish sweet Honeysuckle. I adore Honeysuckle so this is very pleasing. Then I detect a very straightforward Jasmine. As Ambrosia develops I pick up on a glorious dominant Tuberose. This is a creamy, dreamy Tuberose. My senses get sent to the Heavens....Lahhh!! The Orris adds an Earthy velvety dimension which is quite balancing seeing the bouquet is undeniably lush and buttery. It could become heady without it. If you love florals this is for you. A must have for the Floral lovers out there. The sillage is strong at first then it is moderate but that is okay because I wear this baby for my pleasure. Longevity is about six hours. Not bad for a modern floral. I highly recommend!

I am absolutely smitten with this!!! I did not think that I was a white floral fan because everything I have tried in the past (that was predominantly white florals) bored me or reminded me of cleaning products. THIS is truly beautiful!!!! I don't have the "expertise" to explain why this is so good...but I'll try anyways. It has a depth to it but somehow it still feels fresh (not stuffy or powdery). It ~feels~ creamy somehow?...which is what I think I was missing from other white florals. It also has a slight natural sweetness to it but nothing that would make me classify this as a "sweet" fragrance, it just stops it from turning sour on me. I would 10/10 recommend that you sample this on the skin because smelling it from the bottle does not do it justice ♡

I'm wearing Ambrosia for the first time today. My initial thoughts: this Gucci Bloom fragrance lies exactly in the middle of the original Gucci Bloom and Gucci Bloom Nettare de Fiori, both of which I like a lot. Its tuberose is a little "louder" than the OG fragrance, while it contains a bit of the earthiness/spiciness of Nettare. So far, its strength and longevity on my skin is right there in the middle, as well - OG Bloom doesn't last at all on me, while I can still smell Nettare's spicy/herbal notes hours and hours after I spray it on. I'll have to see how long Ambrosia lasts. UPDATE: I realize that this fragrance reminds me of Korloff Majestic Tuberose, only not as spicy. I layered the two today and they smell great together!

Super-floral floral! I think GBAdF is the only perfume I have that has 100% floral notes in its top, heart and base. But it is predominantly a tuberose scent and a glorious one! It greets you with a fresh, clean, non-indolic jasmine but soon the lush tuberose reigns! It overthrows other floral notes to be honest. I cannot sense the rose or orris except in the very late dry down. The tuberose here is more creamy than in the original GB, a tad sweeter and has a less (but still has) green facet, so I probably didn’t need them both simultaneously as the differences are subtle, but I am obsessed with white florals. I’ll forever be grateful for the house of Gucci for modernizing tuberose and bringing it back en vogue 💕💕💕 enamored!

I purchased my bottle from Macy's earlier this week. I have to say: I ABSOLUTELY 100% agree with the poster below me. This outclasses ALL of the Gucci Bloom flankers. Damn! This perfume is GORGEOUS! A little FYI, I do tend to lean into being more of a niche chick in acquisitions. But, to ask me, I'm not really one way or the other. I buy and wear what I like. I don't care who makes it or whose name is on it. That's the truth. I actually roll my eyes when I see designer ads. But, I keep an open mind and nose when it comes to the juice. Wow! This one is nice. A dense, rich cold weather floral for us flower loving hippie chicks.Thank you Gucci, from the bottom of my flower laiden heart. Peace out sisters! & my brothers.

I had not smelled Gucci Ambrosia until yesterday but my friend knew I liked the 'regular' Gucci Bloom and so got this one for me as a gift. I have only sprayed it a few times, but so far so good! This is a beautiful sexy and happy floral to my nose. This isn't like these fruity florals or ahemmmm these gourmand florals. I swear the Gucci Gorgeous florals smell like fruits and sugars and I do not like them. I like many gourmand fragrances, but I don't often LOVE when a fragrance is trying to be both floral and food at the same time. SO. This is great. Honeysuckle is there and it's a note I'm chasing. If you like Gucci Bloom or similar you will probably love this one!

With Ambrosia di Fiori, Gucci outclasses every Bloom flanker, making the jus more carnal, creamy and intense, rightly observed by you, without depriving it of the original lymphatic green freshness. Even the red color emphasizes my subjective perception. Despite it contains discordant ingredients, typology ideally reminds me of the last masterpiece I tested at Bvlgari, Tubereuse Mystique, and honestly I wouldn't know which one to choose between the two. Remaining on Gucci theme, my choice at this point would fall on 'Ambrosia', downgrading to the second place (I mean as a purchase order) 'Nettare', that I've had on my wish list for a long time now.

I'm not really sure why anyone would buy this if they didn't like the OG Bloom... because this is almost exactly the same... you can see that in the notes. But weird purchasing habits aside, the original Bloom is one of my favourite fragrances for spring, so I kinda knew I'd love this - and I do. This is a sweeter, less heavy version of Bloom. I think I can really smell the honeysuckle in the beginning, which I love. This version doesn't trigger my allergies like the original does, which I like. It also doesn't last as long, but I just keep a purse spray and reapply after a few hours, which I don't mind because I like the opening the most anyway.
