Gucci Bloom Intense

Sensuous & velvety, the floral heart of this fragrance is freshened & warmed by the addition of ginger, which is present more as an effect than as a clear & crystallized note. Similarly, the florals are made soft & lactonic by the addition of coconut which is not evident in & of itself, but, like the ginger, plays a supporting role. The heroes of this fragrance are the white florals—namely tuberose—which bloom creamy & hedonistic, lifting like great pale moths from an inky cocoon of oakmoss; this dalliance resolving to a gentle haze that is both fuzzy & waxy, velveteen & buttery. I do not find this fragrance to be powdery or soapy, as some reviewers have noted. I do, however, sense darkness in this perfume where others may have felt it has fallen short; no, this is not “dark” in the more obvious or common uses of the term, nor yet may it deserve the name “Intense”. However, the darkness in this perfume is a nuanced one; the darkness of privacy & of intimacy, of that which goes unspoken, the darkness found between bedclothes & caught between hands held together, the shadow cast on a lover’s cheek by lowered lashes, melancholic in its beauty. When I wear this perfume, I feel its presence around me, diaphanous & snug as fog, & feel terribly romantic about my own life—dreaming of those who will walk where I have been & pass through the wraiths of blooms I leave in my wake.

I love the original Bloom and love wearing it when I want to feel ladylike and feminine. I just purchased this and love this too!! It’s definitely a warmer sexier scent! I find the patchouli gives it such a beautiful depth. I typically don’t care for a mossy scent but it’s stunning in this and not overpowering. The coconut is subtle but definitely there. These base notes complement the white florals so beautifully. It is not for those who prefer gourmands or sweet scents. It is more sophisticated and grownup. It’s really beautiful for date nights in dimly lit restaurants in the warmer months. I love my deep sexy scents in the evening in fall and winter but struggle to find ones that are good for warmer nights. This one is perfect! It could be worn all year if you like your florals. Longevity on me is good, 6+ hours. The sillage is good but they won’t smell you before they see you. It could go slightly unisex but definitely leans feminine in my opinion. I love scents that are a bit unisex! This is really nice, and I actually love this entire line. I’ve yet to find one I don’t enjoy. So, if this is too grown for you, try others in the line and you’ll probably find one that you enjoy!

I wanted to like the Gucci Bloom line and it's flankers but to me they smell dated and heavy in a headache-inducing way. Do we need another heavy-handed white floral with a shot of bergamot at the top? No, I don't think so. But I dutifully tried each one... the Alessandro era of Gucci was killing it in so many other ways but not this line. So I didn't have high expectations for Intense. First, is it intense? No. I think they should've named it Bloom Sensuelle, or even Bloom Estate ('summer'). It's lighter and smoother to me - addition of pear & coconut make this more fresh and the moss has an interesting green depth that the others are lacking. The tuberose definitely leans 'bubblegum' in this one, compared to the others in this line. Eddie did a review of this one (that he did *not* enjoy it) but he says one thing I agree with: if you liked the rest of the Bloom line, this might not be for you, and if you *didn't* like the others, you might love this one! I find it the most wearable and enjoyable and I'm grateful to have it in my collection.

I'm so thankful that I only applied one spray of this, and that being on my wrists so I can hold them away from my nose. Don't get me wrong, this is really enjoyable, but Alberto (big fan of his BTW) didn't pull any punches with this. It's really beautiful and jumps straight into the heart notes...simple because they're so strong. Yes, there is some citrus. But *no*, this didn't really have an opening sequence. It all serves to uphold the tuberose and jasmine. The patchouli is rather clean as well, and further supports the malange of white florals (which are...sexy). I don't smell anything oakmoss actually, but this could of course be due to restrictions and that the oakmoss is less of a force than it used to be in throwback perfumes. Speaking of throwbacks though, this doesn't smell current, or modern (I mean this in the best way). It's a classic, well-constructed white floral beauty. And it's unsurprising that younger generations largely dislike it.

I have been a fan of tuberose for a long time and often reach for the original when I want a strong, confident white floral. I also enjoy Ambrosia and Nettare di Fiori, for different aspects of the scent. I do agree that Intense takes a different approach and does not feel completely as a part of the "Bloom" family, yet I enjoy it immensely. From the very first time I wore it, I felt enveloped in this mysterious aura of a fragrance that is strong enough to be detected at all times yet brings me joy every time I get a proper whiff. To me, maybe also due to the branding and the flacon of the perfume, it has a witchy feeling to it. It is not daring enough to be the perfume of a true villain, but it can add a bit of a dark undertone to the charm of its wearer. I think it's a great perfume from Gucci, as it is likeable and complex enough to appeal to people yet still go a bit against the typical designer scents released in the past few years.

I really love perfumes with white flowers. Jasmine and tuberose are my favorite. Yet the Bloom line has not once convinced me to buy a one. It lacked conviction. I therefore had little expectations of the new Bloom 'Intense'. Especially because of the patchouli and herbs added to the notes. But I couldn't have been more wrong. The white flowers, especially tuberose and jasmine, open the fragrance in a soft and sweet way. They smell so realistic. I think the sweetness comes from the coconut. Soon the patchouli joins the scent. Where I normally detest patchouli it is now beautiful. It makes the tuberose woodier and that in combination with the coconut is great. Somewhere the ginger buzzes around the flowers. The smell does not change anymore. It gets softer and softer, after which it slowly fades out like a candle. Kudos to Gucci for this flanker. Gucci Bloom 2.0 A golden move to add coconut and make the patchouli more dominant.

I received my 1.7oz bottle from Ulta a few days ago.No intense in this fragrance at all,it actualy is very light.I would compate it to Tiffani & Co,where the impression is you smell nice,but you do not wear a perfume.The scents are completely different though ,just the impression is the same.If GBI had more sillage and projection,I would appriciate it more.Other than that,I have never smelled anything similar before.That makes it very unique,but if you can really smell it.I will leave it for a week or so to see if the air in the bottle can make the juice a little bit more saturated,but as for now I am a little bit disappointed.The scent is lovely,white flowers mixed with earthy aromas,as a scent I prefer this one over the original,would be definitely love and I would repurchase it If I can make it to be louder.Barely detected.My cheap Avon's perfumes have much better projection.

The Tuberose takes the back seat in the Intense version & thank god! I had to get rid of my Gucci Bloom, all I got was a hardcore Tuberose, not even the bubblegummy kind. It nauseated me. This is beautiful. Falls along the lines of Di Fiori, which I have 2 big bottles of, (gotta backup in case they change it). The Jasmine saved this one! Edited to add~ I still like it better than GB, but It's not a love for me. This has something weird going on, maybe just the combination, b/c I love every note in this. Doesn't last long at all. Def not a loud scent either. This is going to have to be a no. I'm just a Di Fiori girl I guess.

Although it gets harsh reviews, this is a great parfume for summer! Lightly sweet and delicate floral. I knew I had to have it the moment I tested it in the store. Sampled a few times afterwards to make sure it is not just a crush that I'll get over quickly. Tuberouse parfumes are too much for me, so I prefer this over the OG. Think a semi transparent dark red better describes this scent, as it is by no means a "black" parfume. Defenetly made in into my top six parfumes for this summer. The only complain I have is the longevity of 4 hours. But I can leave with that, just bringing with me a decant to reapply after lunch.

This smells nothing is like the original bloom, which I love bc it comes off as very “natural”. I’m enjoying the mid layer of bloom intense and picking up on something whimsical and airy here as it “blooms”. The dry down is interesting too as it becomes a skin scent. I appreciate the structure of coconut/patch/moss base. It smells clean and slightly musky, but different than other scents that use vanilla, musk, resins, or woods in the base.

Closest thing I can find to the discontinued unicorn JPG Fragile. Sharing the notes of tuberose, jasmine, ginger, orange blossom, and tangerine. Nostalgia. Buying a bottle or 2 Edit 3/10/25; I have a 30ml of this - I am so surprised people say this disappears quickly, because I find this stuff potent! Lasted me all day and 5 sprays almost choked me out! Large to moderate projection.

This surprised me because I’m not the biggest fan of the OG Gucci Bloom and although this starts out somewhat similar it has much more depth and a beautiful dry down in which I can really detect the night blooming jasmine and coconut. It’s not a sweet tropical coconut though but rather a natural just cracked coconut scent that I find absolutely beautiful.

I love tuberose In my fragrance, and this did not disappoint.. The only downside I would say is the longevity which is expected from a Gucci designer fragrance, house. This fragrance is beautiful and perfect for an office wear because it is quite safe. It doesn’t project much and doesn’t suffocate the room.

This is so beautiful and sexy. It smells like something a faerie would wear. She's sweet, soft, floral, and ethereal. Definitely perfect for spring or summer. I wish it lasted longer, though. I haven't smelled the original so I can't compare the 2, but wow. So pretty!

This is the sweetest of the Bloom line. The pear note is very upfront, the ginger note is quite light. I detect no mandarine. The coconut is very subtle. Overall this is extremely juicy but still sophisticated. If you want a sweeter version of Bloom go for it!

This is so elegant and beautiful, intensely white floral with some spicy undertone. There are no fruity and powdery notes. Crowd pleasing but still stands out. Polar opposite of Gucci bloom, since that one smells like urine to me for some reason.

This is perfection. The original and flankers. Perfected. Strong. Heavy. Thick. Dense. Patchouli heavy. Creamy coconut. Beautiful Tuberose and florals. Just perfect. So much more bold. This may be the best Bloom. Period.

Sweet clean floral fruity. Smells like spring and summer together. Pleasant for morning, effortless sexy and feminine! Makes me thinking of happy sunny days eating fruits in a garden full of fresh flowers :)

First spray is heaven on earth coconut tuberose..night blooming jasmine...but fades away in no time. I can't understand what happened but I love that its something innovative from Gucci.

I get so many compliments every time I wear this. Feminine girl summer in a bottle. The pumped up white floral and tuberose is a hit on me, for me and with me. Love it.
