Sweet Like Candy

Yeah well, the notes are completely off. First of all there is no hint of oud in here, no smokeyness or dark woody notes. This is EXTREMELY close to Kayali Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar. It is more similar to it than the Khair Confection. A main difference on my skin is that the Kayali one at a point gives a "chlorine" or "swimming pool" kind of smell for a while and this one doesn't so it's smoother. Needless to say that it also performs better than the original as longevity and projection but Khair Confection beats both in performance. I would repurchase both the Gulf Orchid and the Paris Corner one.

Same DNA as Khair Felicity, but without being sharp or cologne-like. It actually smells really good and balanced! Very, veeeeery feminine. Fresh, yummy, likeable, affordable and smells high-quality, and has a sunny kind of warmth to it. The whole fragrance is first sparkly, then sweet and gentle, and then dries down to warm and cozy. No rough edges - just perfection from the start. It smells like morning to me, and a white shirt and hair that is pulled up. Worn by someone very girly and easy-going.

Opens up with sweet sugary candy but dries down to a warm sugary musky patchouli. It smells just like my childhood teddy bear, it was a smell I hadn't smelt in years. Absolutely love this smell and the feelings it invokes. I haven't actually smelt Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar so I'm not sure how it compares, but I'll have to get onto that 😌

This is definitely the best dupe of Vanilla Candy Rock sugar.I have the oG since it came out and my new bottle of Sweet like Candy smells like 98% like it. I also have Elysia which is pretty close but not as close as this one and not as strong. I absolutely love this DNA

On a paper test, I really like this one. I get the sweet vanilla florals with that deep base (I'm not sure if it's the patchouli, the musk, or the oud coming through). I think it's pretty close to the Kayali OG.

This is much better than Khair Confection. Much closer to the original too. I’m in love! It lasts 12 hours on me, backup bottle worthy.

It's good... Sweet, sugary, and pleasant, yet it lacks the personality and charm that would make me reach for it again and again. I used to love this fragrance until I discovered Marshmallow by Gulf Orchid. That is the kind of sweetness I had been looking for all along—soft, fluffy, comforting, and far more addictive. This isn't bad by any means, but after smelling Marshmallow, it just doesn't excite me the same way anymore. 7/10

it is such a nice pleasant fragrance! kind of a stron alcohol opening but it quickly dries down and reveals the sweet vanilla notes. also love the rose and sugar notes - really ties it all together into a lovely day fragrance. doesn’t overpower any outfit so its very versatile. a great sweet scent!

This is extremely sweet and potent. There are some florals and fruits, and even some oud, but it's like everything is covered in sugar. It's pretty, but not my cup of tea.

I bought it as a dupe for VCRS. It is definitely similar DNA, but not the same. VCRS is super sweet, but also very fresh in the opening, with a sharp edge I love. This one is missing that, it is just sweet. Overal it lacks the complexity of the og scent. In the dry down, there is a lot of similarity, but it gives me a headache everytime I wear it.

It was a shock that I didn’t really get anything “sweet” from this fragrance after having read all the reviews! Upon first spraying, I got an overwhelming menthol/medicinal type note, and it dominated through the initial drydown. I didn’t bother to wait to see if it would get better over time; had to immediately scrub!

A very good sweet scent, nuanced enough to be worth it and not just a sugar bomb, it had depth and longevity, ddint seem juvenile either. Very good. It didnt have the usual pily heavy feel alot of arab scents seem to have, and that 'samey' feel

Smells like sweet pear patchouli bomb, i haven't smelled the og VCRS and this is so different from what I expected. I heard that this was a childish fragrance and that is so off this is leaning towards a grown woman type of scent.

I can’t understand. The notes show these is a dupe for sugared patchouli, not vanilla candy rock sugar, although everyone says it’s a dupe for VCRS. Can anyone explain it to me? Im afraid of blind buying.

The best interpretation of candy rock sugar I’ve tried. Better than confection and elysia, lasts all day. Lots of pear and sweetness. Absolutely love it!

I gave this away. Smells SO bad on me but it’s nice on paper tho, smells like like a bubblegummy la belle flanker tbh.

La Belle’s younger sweeter sister, i really like it. I like it waaay better than candy rock sugar.
