Cloud Candy

changing my review after months of consistent use: i do still think cloud candy lasts longer than YBM, and after drying down for a couple of hours they smell VERY close to each other. YBM has a spicier/warmer profile, and cloud candy is fruitier and sweeter. i lose the strawberry from YBM quickly, and the strawberry is there for the entire wear with cloud candy. the longer this one sits on my skin, the more it starts to smell like YBM. it takes around 30 minutes for me to not be able to tell much of a difference between the two besides coconut and strawberry being more prominent in cloud candy. i also still think this is worth a try for the price point.. kayali is $$$. if you’re walking past someone wearing either one of these, they probably wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between the two unless they had a keen sense of smell. YBM is a bit more refined and well blended versus cloud candy being sweeter and louder. they smell similar enough that i didn’t feel the need to buy a bigger bottle of YBM after trying cloud candy. i will be buying the 3.4oz of YBM at some point only due to the fact that i prefer the warmth in it over the fruitiness in cloud candy. not a perfect dupe, but it’s still pretty good! YBM gives me around hours 6 of wear, cloud candy lasts a full work day and was detectable as i was hopping into the shower.

This one is fun and addictive ! I own around 20 full bottles of perfume (niche/designer/arabian etc.) and I like every single scent profile. I just got this fragrance for myself after falling in love with YBM. I tried both Cloud candy and Marshmallow blush as samples. Marshmallow blush was indeed a bit too alcohol strong in the opening for me, just like other commenters suggest. However I found that it also smells minty, which kinda kills it for me as a gourmand. Cloud candy doesn't smell like alcohol in the opening. It's perfect from the get go. I wouldn't say it's long lasting though. However YBM isn't long lasting either... I think it's about 3/4 similar to YBM in that it does have the same scent profile and it does smell of the same things roughly, but it reminds me a bit more of a cookie with strawberries than of marshmallow. Do not get me wrong, you can smell the marshmallow and it remains a pretty airy, non cloying gourmand. I received a small YBM as a present. I still prefer Cloud Candy. Would probably bathe in it if i could but I use it sparingly as to not offend anyone. The bottle is the heaviest i've ever seen but it's pretty IMO

I've had both Cloud Candy and Marshmallow Blush for over 3 months now, and while I absolutely love them both, I prefer Marshmallow Blush. For one, it's closer to YMB in the dry down, in my opinion. And it's more of a "pink" fragrance.... it's sweeter and fruitier, and it's quite bright despite the powderiness (this makes it more wearable in warmer weather). The sillage and longevity are also much better. To my nose, Cloud Candy is much more creamy and powdery, and the musk is much more intense in the dry down. The whipped cream note (that Marshamallow Blush does not include) is very prominent. The tangerine is only present in the immediate opening, and the strawberry isn't very fruity - it's more like a strawberry milk. Basically, if they were colours, Marshmallow Blush would be a pastel pink, and Could Candy would be a dusty rose. I've had compliments on both fragrances, and most people can't seem to tell them apart in the dry down, but I personally definitely notice a difference. They're both very cute, girly and, in my opinion, quite juvenile - so basically perfect for me!

Here is my honest review. I really like this fragrance. Right away it smells just like YBM and honestly thats why I bought it and I didnt want to spend so much on the big bottle of YBM. There are some big differences though. YBM lasts more than 12 hrs on me and while I can still smell cloud candy on me (I am wearing it now, having sprayed 12 hours ago and no touch ups) it sits closer to the skin and YBM can still keep the same projection as when it was first sprayed. Also I think that after a long period of time cloud candy settles on my skin into a but more of a sugary strawberry marshmallow but YBM stays the same, but I do sort of like that. I for sure would reperchase cloud candy over YBM mainly because of the price but I do really like this fragrance, also take the sit closer to the skin part with a grain of salt because when I first sprayed it I literally could not smell anything... I went totally noseblind and I even tried holding my YBM up to my nose and I couldnt smell at all, long time after I can smell it a tiny bit on me but nothing like I would with the OG.

I have been testing 3 perfumes with marshmallow/candy scents, because i LOVE too smell like sugary candy. Number 1 is Paris corner marshmallow blush, 2 is Khadlaj cloud candy and the 3 is Shams Al Emarat Pink Blush by Ard Al Zaafaran. 1. Paris Corner’s marshmallow blush has a HEAVY alcohol smell to it when you first spray it on you, dry’s down like hemp and vanilla, not marshmallows or strawberry. 2. Khadlaj cloud candy has almost no alcohol smell, and dry’s down like really fluffy candy, and last good. 3. Shams Al Emarat Pink Blush by Ard Al Zaafaran has a SLIGHT alcohol smell to it, and dry’s down like a faded version of cloud candy, and last good. So, if you have a slight reaction too alcohol like me, is Cloud Candy definitely the sweetest and best choice, with pink blush at a good number two. But that is just my opinion :)
