Harajuku Lovers Pop Electric Love

By itself Love is ok-ish. My skin didn't pick up the fruit notes, only light jasmine and musk. However I followed the suggestion of one of my favorite "Perfume-ista" you tubers and layered this with Victoria's Secret Strawberries & Champagne body mist and OMG!! Pure love. The fragrances meshed extremely well and I could not stop sniffing myself all day. The VS mist added a fizzy rose note to the musk note that worked with my body chemistry. I'm glad I tried the layering suggestion and hope to use both up as we transition from Spring into Summer.

I picked this up at Marshalls for 10$ because the bottle reminded me of a kid' fragrance I had in middle school. Unfortunately, just like that one it doesn't last more than fifteen minutes. It is, however, a delightful fruity floral scent. I acnt pick out the pear or jasmine individually, but rather their intoxicating mix. Seriously, I couldn't stop sniffing my arm. I'm going to have to find something like this that lasts longer.

Light, fresh, almost soapy in a very pleasant way. I wear this one when I go running because it's soapy/fresh. I don't get much of the jasmine, but the fruits and cashmere are nicely present. It's a perfume I wouldn't have tried, but I received a full-size bottle in a Glossybox and it was surprisingly good. Not a long lasting perfume, but enjoyable while it's present.

I frequently use this scent which is feminine, sweet, and fresh. I really like it. I can detect notes of fruit, jasmine, and musk. Its longevity is fantastic. I apply it in the morning before work and it stays put until I start my nighttime routine."

This perfume is nice - to me it smells more floral then juicy/fruity. It smells like rose to me - even though I don’t see rose in the notes. It’s nice - but I’m not in love.

This one smells so lovely, fresh pear and sweet but not overwhelming. Definitely great for daily fragrance. Got it on sale $15 for a bottle of 50ml. I’m so happy

This is so bland and boring, just smells like faint pear and lasts a few minutes....would not recommend, the little angel pop electric is the best one

I got as a birthday gift. I really liked the original love. This is electric pop..still good just not the same. This is bright, flirty, fun scent.

This smells EXACTLY like Versace red jeans to me. I'm not a fan of that perfume nor this one so once it's gone I won't seek out it again.

I absolutely love Gwen, and of course fragrance, so I wanted to love this Love! Unfortunately I'm on the fence. I'm not a big fan of it. It's very cheap smelling. I can't even see a scent like this being sold at Bath and Body Works. More like Claire's random unicorn shaped no name perfumes. Or a basket of Walmart bath supplies at Christmas. And as a huge fan of Gwen I hate to say that. But girl. However, the bottles. I go absolutely wild over them. I'm in pursuit to buy the whole collection because they look so funky and cute on my colorful vanity. Those alone are well worth the 15 dollars each I paid for Love and Lil Angel. Please forgive me Gwen. Your makeup and music I live for! But your fragrances from this line.... no.

This was a scrubber for me. I don’t get fruit notes, I don’t get musk, and I don’t get my favorite note of all time cashmere wood. What I do get is over whelming, old lady florals. I literally had to shower to scrub this off of me, I washed 3 times and even after exfoliating where I sprayed I CAN STILL SMELL IT!! To those who say this lasts 5 minutes you must have gotten old or damaged bottles. I literally can’t get this off of me. Rubbing alcohol is next. I love all the electric pop scents except this one and of course I accidentally bought 2 bottles. Bleh 🤢

Stefani's Harajuku Lovers Pop Electric Love is similar to a rose-based fragrance I owned when I was 17. I actually forgot the name of the rose fragrance while searching the internet to repurchase years later. I never did find it again. Love is a serendipitous upgrade! If I had to describe Love in brief form, it would be a bubbly, sparkling rose and pear fragrance. There is no rose in the official notes, but it is so obvious to me that I will pretend as if there is. There are other notes like musk that wrap the whole scent up into a neat little bow. Super fun and perfect for summer. Makes me feel younger (17 again?) Sillage is good with four sprays -- in warm weather, at least. Longevity is not the best but fair for the price and note composition. It lasts a few good hours. This is not some giant bomb that lingers 2 days and I am fine with that. Recommended.

So, after falling in 'love' with the original Love, I purchased this perfume. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that in my opinion, this perfume smells really, really different to me than the original, so I was pretty disappointed at first... BUT: As a chronic migraine sufferer, I have a really hard time wearing perfumes at all. I will say that while the original 'Love' to me is wayyyyy more unique smelling, it's a much heavier scent that lasts a lot longer. For me, the new Pop Electric 'Love' is much lighter, sweeter, and while it may smell more like other perfumes, it's much easier for me to wear. I really love both of the 'Love' perfumes, but the Pop Electric version is definitely my every day perfume right now!

I'm just revisiting the Pop Electric series. I don't have Baby b/c I'm not into the powdery thing but IMO the ranking goes as follows: G>>Lil Angel>Love>Music. This one - I guess I smell a little pear, but mostly the apple which is definitely a green apple and not a red delicious. It's interesting that there is no rose because the effect is definitely coming across rosy. I don't really smell jasmine specifically, just a generic flowery smell but mostly musk. This is somewhat reminiscent of Ghost Myst by Coty. Smells a bit outdated, whereas G has worn better over time.

I don't remember how the original Love smelled like...I like this one, but it's my least favorite. It 's more floral than fruity, a little bit sour (green apple) and clean/musky. If you prefer floral perfumes, Love is for you. I heard Harajuku lovers pop electric was a limited edition...I don't know if it's true, I hope Gwen will launch new Harajuku perfumes in the future. i love this brand, because every woman can find her perfume in those ranges. You have the floral, the fruity, the 'beachy', the musky and the aquatic :)

This one out of the pop electric collection, seems to have the best lasting power. It's a nice scent, my favorite is G, Baby & then this one (my top 3 out of the 5 from this series). The Pop Electric series are by far, the best fragrances so far from Harajuku collection! I can't believe how much I am enjoying them. UPDATE: I haven't used this perfume in a while & then decided to use it. It actually smells better then I remember smelling. It's a very nice scent.

I am so glad Gwen has finally released a new range, I have been waiting ages since purchasing Wicked style. I really like Love, it is such a refreshing scent. When I initially spray it, I get the smell of lovely crisp apples and the scent lingers long after spraying. The cashmere wood is a good underlying scent but I can't detect any of the other ingredients. All in all really great scent, would like it in a much bigger size though!

This smells similar to the original, they aren't completely the same, but there is that same feeling to it. I can smell all the notes, but what I smell the most is the jasmine. This is a better version than the original. I think Pop Electric is the evolution on the Harajuku Lovers, just like Gwen said on HSN. Overall I give this perfume a 8/10.

A musky but still fruity, pear and apple scent. Honestly, Pop Electric Love is a great perfume but it lasts about 3 minutes on my skin. It is an incredibly cheap perfume in terms of its price so if you are someone who doesn't mind overspraying throughout an entire day, feel free to give Pop Electric Love a shot.

Boring. Just smells like Jasmine and musk. nothing more, nothing less
