This is Not a Blue Bottle 1.8 Sold Out

This one felt different to me right from the start. It opens with a fresh, slightly sweet citrus vibe, something like orange, but smooth and not sharp at all. Very easy to like from the first spray. After a bit, I start getting some warm spices, something like cardamom or nutmeg, along with a light aromatic and slightly herbal touch that gives it character without making it feel heavy. There is also a soft sweetness in the background, but it stays airy and controlled. It reminds me of vanilla, tonka, or a light amber warmth, nothing too sweet or overpowering. As it develops, I really start to notice a creamy woodiness that I enjoyed a lot. It makes the whole scent feel smoother and more complete. What I liked the most is how balanced it feels. I don't know what I expected but I thought it is going to be some kind of experiment. Instead I get very clean, aldehydic yet slightly gourmand vanilla, lots of it. There's something aromatic like juniper or perhaps some green, fresh patchouli. I do also get lactonic/coconut vibes with some cashmeran. It feels like a fluffy, soft, aromatic, slightly lactonic, fresh vanilla cloud :) Could be a touch of lily of the valley or a white floral of some sort too. Edited: I forgot to mention ambroxan that is surely here and it usually bothers me if it is too much. In Sold Out it kind of melts into that fluff and aromatics, not lingering harshly, rather whiffing some of that freshness/cleanliness throughout the wear Really like it and love the concept - raises creativity and curiosity.

I’ve got a generous sample of this, arrived today. First impression was quite nice, but then for approximately 15-30 minutes, it irritated me with a little too much spices and some sharpness. However, it calmed down! Now, I think it with linger with a softer and more sweet charactere, through this evening. Leather, maybe honey, maybe a little bit of coconut or some other nuts. Not like a gourmand, but cozy and softly sweet. More feminine to me, not very unisex. Calming and reassuring. So far, I really like it!! I will see, eventually, if I even love it. Edit, just a couple of hours later! Yes, I have upgraded it to a LOVE. I don’t know when I can afford it, but I do want a full bottle! Delicious!

It has a distinctly modern fragrance structure. It feels like a reflection of quiet luxury, with longevity and projection that are refined rather than overpowering. There is a strong presence of natural citrus notes, but when they blend with synthetic musky materials and an aldehydic nuance, the scent becomes intriguingly abstract and elusive. The longevity is quite good, while the projection feels soft and restrained, staying close to the skin.

I tried it out today in Dubai Mall - it’s really nice, effervescent and I’m getting a dose of aldehydes with a slightly gourmand citrusy vanilla aspect. Feels airy and really beautiful - I’m considering getting a full bottle, love it
