FRUITY BATCH AVENTUS CLONE WITH MODERATE PERFORMANCE...

An interesting fragrance, but NOT a good fragrance. In my first impression, I get fresh fruity (slightly warm), slightly green (cooling) and slightly amber/woody, moderate minerality. I think the minerality is the combination of oakmoss and pepper. I would say to pass on this one, initially, because it is not very pleasant smelling, and, especially with the synthetic aspect, it is not very refreshing. Although, it is still slightly refreshing, and after a couple hours, it does get into a much more pleasant dry down. It is closer to a "dislike" in the beginning, and closer to a "like" in the end. Unfortunately, the atomizer is absolute garbage (at least on mine), it is weak and has been spitting/leaking a bit on my hand when I spray it. Your mileage may vary, and I can't complain about the dirt cheap cost of this at discounters. Edit: updating the rating from "okay" to a "like". This is because it is an easy and inexpensive dumb reach. Somehow the scent has grown on me, and I keep grabbing it now and then.

I absolutely love it!! For the 18$ price I paid for it, it is definitely worth the money. It has a very juicy bergamot.It does smell like explorer but not like everybody is saying. I think it is fresher than explorer and less fruity than Aventus. This doesn’t really matter but the bottle is a 10/10 and convinced me to buy this. I will say though I don’t think that the bottle fits the fragrance, I think it would smell more aquatic with this bottle than explorer would. So if you are like me and bought it just because the bottle looks cool, you will not be disappointed.... Except for the performance, which is terrible.

I don’t like the opening, it seems cheap and generic - smelled it 100x before, plus being feeling cheapie ish, but the middle and dry down are nice. Gentle aromatics and woods plus a touch of sweet, still feeling fresh though. Cool beans. -I like the men’s more than I like the women’s one. What ever is in the top of this scent I generally don’t go for in men’s smells as they lean ... just... I dunno, I just can’t spray them all over??

Very nice, it reminds me a bit of zadig for him, in the clean rounded wood fuzz way. Dill could be in this .. with a fresh rounded fuzz aboutit. This is not sharp or deodorant like. Its light, the womens one is more sharp than this one. Had it on a couple hours now. I'm a female. This is not fem by the way, I usually have femscents except when they lean in this profile

This is Hollister's version of explorer/aventus for me it isn't last as long as those other two but it's still a great fragrance for the price

Got this on a cruise and worth the money. Not a show stopper, but wears well and smells good. Shockingly, my wife's favorite scent on me.

Fresh aromatic herbal, airy, light, it's not heavy. Will give it a bit of time to develop

Initial thoughts that it is a clear clone of Aventus in the mould of Explorer.

Had this for a while and never tried it, I only got it because it was super cheap in a local store, recently gave it a go and this is 100% supposed to be an Aventus Clone, however to me it resembles Club De Nuit Intense more than Aventus, for those that don't know CDNI is also a clone of Aventus... which makes this a clone of a clone, to me at least. I like it, it's not bad at all, however it is FAR from impressive. I'm not sure why somebody would opt to go with this if they're in the market for an Aventus fragrance, after all CDNI is far superior in terms of quality, closeness, sillage, performance... well, everything. I'm not going to say "don't buy it" but the only people I can see wearing this are those who think CDNI is too strong? This is a solid 5/10 for me, knocked down a few points mainly because it's so easily replaceable with a superior clone.

This fragrance is good, but not great. Way better than no cologne, of course. The first half an hour this is on your skin, it has an almost vinegar-ish scent to it. After that it has a light, pleasant melon scent. I would almost think the note was watermelon or honeydew rather than bergamot. Fresh and clean gym scent, nothing too special. Of the Canyon line, this is the worst, but still not bad. Longevity is Moderate, usually no more than 4-5 hours before that melon breeze is lost in the wind. Projection is average and leaves a little faster than the scent itself. Layering is really this cologne's best use. This under Versace Pour Homme brings out the citrus, while staying fresh. Longevity: 6/10 - Projection: 5/10 - Overall: 5.5/10

Very light. Nothing ground braking, but it smells good. Sillage is very weak so I won't recommend this. Next.

Woody, citrusy, and youthful fragrance. Sits close to skin and doesn't offend people around: it is very likeable and safe. Drydown is mainly woody, with some very slighth and occational whiffs of "burned rubber" which might be something related to that patchouli and vetiver. It almost depicts like some kind of a leather, time to time. So, in addition to being youthful, it is also fun! 😄 This is something that I would buy as a gift for a young man, age around 18yo. It's a great little fragrance to spray after shower or after shaving. The longevity is ok, considering the fact that it is quite light fragrance. I think the price at the moment is a bit too high: a 30ml bottle goes for 30 EUR where I live. I think it is a bit overpriced! I wouldn't criticize it, if it was 100ml for 30 EUR. An ultra-cheap alternative would be La Rive Black Creek: that's 100ml for under 7 EUR, and the smell just about the same. However, your milage may vary. Go on and test it yourself — see if you like this Hollister! 🙂 Personally, I don't, but that's just me. Edit: Just a sidenote, BatemansFragrances above is quite possibly referring to a member review that was between us, but maybe got deleted or voted down so much that it disappeared.

It is a really unique bright summer fragrance that is fruity and woody but on the lighter side of Aventus or even Club de Nuit intense man but it hits on that vibe after the more citrusy opening. If it would last longer without a refresher spray that would be a good replacement for those fragrances. You can get about 4 hours out of this before a refresher and that might be ideal for some situations .

It seems like the reviews for Canyon Rush and Canyon Escape have been reversed. I picked up a 1.7oz bottle of Canyon Rush last night at Marshalls and it is 100% the Montblanc clone everyone is talking about. Thank God I found it in store because I almost ended up buying the wrong cologne online.

There is a resemblance to Explorer, but they are not the same fragrance or quality. If you're looking for a replacement for Explorer, that's a negative. It's OK. That's about the best I can say about it.

The Guy below me tried the wrong fragrance. This is undoubtedly and Aventus clone, and the green smokey kind, not juicy BUT it has cheap kinda noise in the background. Lower quality than armaf.
