Unseen

I received a sample of this from Maxaroma. I initially sprayed it on paper and wasn’t impressed. I threw it in a drawer and forgot about it until today. I decided to try it on skin and I’m so happy I did. This is an amazing fragrance... it’s fresh, yet cozy. It dries down to a creamy, woody, comforting aroma that is signature scent worthy. It’s a little sweet, but not gourmand, which I appreciate. It projects well, but is in no way offensive. It’s also perfectly unisex. I’d love a full bottle for myself, but I’d also enjoy this on my husband. I also think this would work year round. As I pointed out above, testing this on paper does not do it justice... definitely try it on skin.

Musky, spicy, warm, clean, comforting. An elegant, upscale blend that exudes quiet luxury. Light, airy, unassuming. You know it’s there but it’s intimate, yours alone. When you’re air kissed, they’ll love your redolence...they’ll feel warm, comforted, pleased to be w/ you. They'll also have no doubt that you are to the manor born.

Smart, confident, sexy, more masculine, mature. But still presents a certain comfort. I am a woman and I want to spray it on my bed sheets. Spicy, musky, earthy, fresh. Gorgeous dry down. The more I wear it, the more I feel this is indeed unisex. Becomes very warm and gently sweet giving a feminine presence.

This is 10/10 Fragrance in my huge collection. One of the most complimented perfume on my skin. It performs well, it's unique I can't explain what is about this perfume but its a blend that I cannot find elsewhere. I think that is what stands out - the quality of blend . Worth every penny.

In my opinion, this is extremely chic and elevated, probably in my top three favorite musks of all time. Very, very, very classy.

This one is super chic. Clean & Luxury musk

In a way, the name is very befitting. The scent is soft powdery woods. Its clean. You can walk by someone with this one and truthfully they may not smell you but to those that hug you, they will inhale the comfort this scent brings. This has decent longevity but sillage is very intimate. Immediately I thought of 3 reasons to wear this scent: 1. When you want to smell good but respect the asthmatics 2. Times of intimacy, cuddling and staying in 3. When you have to be present- but have to be unseen. In my collection, I have few in this lane. Price notwithstanding there's a place for a scent like this Perfectly unisex. Initimate. Helps you whisper and hint at smelling good. So far I'm liking the iterations of this line.

really nice. i already love sweet musks, adding the vanilla steps this up for me. love the cashmeran nuances and the way it meshes with the tonka and vanilla. super sweet but not overwhelming, the fig adds a really nice fruitiness to this. i’m really excited to try this more

After receiving a 5ml decant of Unseen, I tested it under less-than-ideal (or arguably ideal) conditions—post-workout shower, with elevated body heat and active skin. This fragrance shines in that environment. On skin, Unseen presents as a soft, lactonic-woody-musky composition. The dominant impression is a creamy, slightly milky fig accord layered over clean musk and smooth woods (sandalwood/cashmere-like). It sits in that nuanced space between: fresh and warm clean and intimate subtle and expressive It’s not overtly sweet, not citrus-forward, and avoids becoming overly gourmand. What stands out most is the atmospheric quality. It evokes a very specific sensory image—clean linens, warm air, and a relaxed coastal environment. In my case, it genuinely conjured a mental scene of a breezy Algarve setting with crisp white fabric and warm skin. This is where the fragrance excels: it feels more like an extension of your environment and body than a standalone scent. However, there is a noteworthy nuance: There is a faint metallic / “nickel-like” undertone in the drydown (at least on my skin). It’s subtle and not unpleasant, but noticeable enough to mention. This may be attributed to the musk composition or individual skin chemistry. I absolutely love this. You have to try this on skin though, it does not shine on paper. I first tested my sample on paper and was not impressed. So then I decided to wear it to bed since it was not loud or offensive. OMG was I blown away. Right now musk and "your skin but better' scents are having a moment and I do appreciate that, but I feel like some of them end up having a similar dry down. Not this one. This is a stand out in that category in my opinion. I prefer it to Musk Therapy and that's saying a LOT. And it's not so soft that it's unnoticeable. My husband immediately commented on it, and he hardly comments on my fragrance anymore, and said "That's a good one", and that it is. It's full bottle worthy in my opinion, especially since it's such an easy reach, no brainer kind of fragrance. However, you'll still smell special wearing it. It is an extrait the parfum and that contributes to its longevity. It lasted around 7 hours on my skin and days on my clothes. Someone on here said it reminded them of Gris Charnel and I can see what they mean except that this perfume does not have the very sharp cardamom note that made me wash of Gris Charnel. I could not stand it. So I much prefer this fragrance. I think it's smoother and rounder as well, I enjoy it a million times more and would say it's def not a one for one. It is now on my wishlist and it's at the very top. LOVE!

I just tried a small sample of Unseen, alongside five other House of Dastan (HoD) releases and I have to agree with the consensus, this is an exceptionally classy and elegant musk, easily the standout from HoD. The composition is beautifully blended: a creamy, ambery fig with subtle woody and musky undertones. It wears incredibly smooth, irresistibly sexy and downright delicious on the skin. Let’s just say it’s the kind of fragrance that makes you want to lean in closer - licky licky, in the best possible way! Projection and longevity are above average for two small sprays on the wrist and Unseen stays linear and strong all the way.

House of Dastan’s Unseen is a beautifully balanced fragrance that leans sweet without ever becoming cloying. Just got my sample of this. First spray is definitely fresh linen that evolves to Santal 33. Close to my skin, I get Santal 33 and not much else, but 10”-12” the full range of notes cycle through with all except patchouli (thankfully as I am not a fan usually). I totally get the sense of “your skin but better” that some folks say. It’s like clean, moisturized skin with hints of warm, slightly sweet notes cycling through. LetTheWomanWonder nailed the description for my experience. I could definitely wear this any time, day or night, just for me...

I’m confused, it claims to be a fall and winter scent. I got a sample from Maxaroma and the combination of ingredients smells like a typical suntan lotion type of scent, to me it screams summer night scent after a day at the pool or beach. The smell kind of reminds me of a candy bar I remember when I was a kid called Zag Nut Bar. It smells great, but for my nose it’s for a hot ass woman, or possibly some beta dude.

This is probably one of THE BEST clean, musky fragrances I've ever laid my nose on. Safe blind buy. Just luxurious out of the shower/clean laundry goodness.
