Winter Sun

Probably the cardamom and sandlewood combo but im getting Gris Charnel vibes. Like give me Gris Charnel but add tuberose and make it tropical. ( to be clear this is not at all a Gris Charnel dupe but the base is similar) Maybe that's where the name comes from because it has warmth but also smells beachy. I like it . Would love to add it to my collection.

This is a really pretty creamy white floral. It’s very well blended so you don’t pick up too much on any one note. It has a bit of sweetness and has a bit of a lotion smell but I really enjoy it. As it dries down you get more of the Tiare flower which gives it a bit of a tropical florals vibe. Would be perfect as an office scent or just an easy reach.

This is a winter option for those who love a summer sunscreen fragrance. The tuberose dries down to more of tiare flower and the coconut isn't super prominent, but gives it the "sun" vibe.

The founder of House of Noya, Talha Kalsekar, is an Indian-born perfumer who grew up between Dubai and London. Winter Sun takes its inspiration from the Indian Holi Festival—the atmosphere of colored powders in the air, people celebrating together in the sun. That festive scene forms the background of the fragrance. Winter Sun was one of the nine fragrances released in 2023 as part of the brand’s first Prima Collezione. When I bought it, it was winter, so I chose this one. The opening brings a coconut milk accord, creamy and soft, almost like a body lotion texture. There is a light tropical impression in the air, but it never becomes overly sweet. The first impression is simply comfortable. Soon after, tuberose appears quite clearly. This part depends a lot on how someone feels about white florals. If you’re sensitive to them, it may feel quite prominent. If you’re used to white florals, it comes across as smooth and natural. It isn’t an aggressive tuberose. Instead, the white floral note seems to rest on the coconut milk base, with its warmth and fullness softened—almost like a creamy tuberose. The final stage moves into sandalwood. The sandalwood here feels warm and quiet, allowing the earlier creamy and floral notes to settle closer to the skin. The scent becomes calmer and more grounded. The overall rhythm of the fragrance stays very stable. It moves from coconut to white florals and then to wood without any abrupt shifts. The progression matches the story behind it—like sunlight resting on the skin after a festival. The perfume is at about 20% concentration, and the longevity is quite good. I wouldn’t necessarily say it is extraordinary, but in the winter of Central Europe, where sunlight can feel rare, this fragrance does bring a small sense of warmth and brightness.

More of a soapy clean tropical flower vibe. Like a tiare coconut shampoo. More cool and refreshing, would be nice during summer heat. Not too sweet, not super unique or addictive, but has a wide appeal simplicity to it that makes it generally pleasing. Well blended and smooth without screech or syntheticness. Very nice, wish it performed a bit stronger though. Seems to fade fast on my skin.

To my nose, this isn't a typical bubblegum tuberose. The scent is a bit dryer than that. Also, I know it's not listed but when I first smelled this I swear I got the faintest scent of cumin, so subtle but it was there. Cumin is probably not in there, but that is what the super subtle spice note smells like to me, mostly in the opening. I don't get too much coconut in this.

This is a tuberose bomb, it makes me gag, so nauseatingly strong... Great if you love tuberose. Not me, though.
