Boss Elements Aqua

I remember my eldest brother used to have this when I was in Year 7 or 8. I thought it was an amazing Aqua smell I’ve ever smelt (for men anyway). It was sweet yet with a hint of fresh and spicy. But the spiciness wasn’t overbearing. Back then I thought if a man walked pass me wearing either this perfume or Versace Blue jeans, I’d definitely turn my head to see that guy. Fast forward to 2020, on my first date (with my now husband), I was captivated by his perfume; Mont Blanc’s Emblem & endearing personality. So that’s probably in top 3 favourite smell on men for me. Just my two cents anyway.

pineapple, vanilla and mint. Can be worn in Spring and summer day and even in hot summer night. a little cloying if over applied but you can't go wrong with 2 spray on the chest and one behind the neck long lasting,and great projection. Hugo Boss should re-introduce this one on the market or creating a flanker of this! Really worth a try, sad that prices on eBay are ridiculous for the average people 8/10

This was bought by mistake as a present for me, im so glad i got it. It's one of those at the time i hated it fragrances but i stuck with it and i adore it now. Its still not your typical woody aquatic it has a blast of juniper and something that just feels like you should run outside in the summer rain. A great rare Boss scent, one that i wear just for myself i dont care if people dont like it :D

Great male scent!! - Woody and aromatic (and a little powdery, but surprisingly, fresh) It's sweet and likeable with spearmint, spices and vanilla throughout. But this is not a marine or a watery fragrance, in my opinion it's misleading to have "aqua" in the name. However, this is a nice long lasting scent with good sillage, one of the best Bosses - oh, and a nice bottle too.

The only Hugo Boss fragrance I actually loved. It was very clean and fresh, inoffensive, masculine and bright. It smells like a sunny morning after overnight rain shower, a new day full of choices and possibilities....Oh, I got carried away, I was just seventeen when I used it...

I remember the scent of this juice just by looking at the bottle here. It shows how memorable it was. Elements Aqua was my signature back in the 90s. Sillage and longevity were really great. Sad that now it's discontinued. Sillage: 8/10 Dry Down: 8/10 Longevity: 8/10

Really a underrated gem. Its fruity vanilla clean.Element Aqua is not a fresh summer scent don't let the name mislead you. Pineapple alittle clean fresh note on vanilla and woody notes. It is a nice quality freshy with its own character. 8.5/10

Agree with all of the reviewers. My all time favourite sent - all the women across the ages loved this when I wore this to the office. Only available online due to stores discontinuing this scent many years ago.

Hard to get hold of. Elements Aqua is not a marine perfume. However, its beautiful. EA is long lasting, sweet, woodsy, unique, spicy and really amazing. A special Boss fragrance with lots of character.

Really unique it resemble no other scents.very well balanced no cloying notes. Herbacous fruity vanila. 8.5/10

My absolute favourite ever scent!

What a nice surprise!!!!!! This scent took me for a tizzy..... I am not super crazy about the over smell of the scent but it definitely will get you compliments. I gave this a full wearing at work. When I got to the office and sat down at my desk I was starting to doubt this fragrance after reading the reviews on here and was thinking about taking back to the store. A few minutes later a female Co-worker walks in and she says who has on cologne? It smells really niiiiccceee. She walked over to me smelled my neck and says yep it's you and asked me what it was and I gladly told her. A few hours later I went to another office located at another branch and as I walked passed another female gave me almost the same exact compliment. So everyone is spot on that this is a office scent and it will get you compliments. I was truly amazed because i was getting ready to take it back and decided not to because of the compliments I am getting. I don't mind wearing a fragrance that is not my favorite but gets compliments. I have worn fragrances that I love and have never gotten a compliment on it. At this price and the compliments you receive Def give this a try. I am so glad I did. Also, I forgot to mention the projection and longevity is SUPERB.... believe it or not I got a full 8 hours out of this beast....

Spicy, creamy, oriental, fresh but not aquatic at all. I have good memories of Aqua Elements. It's one of my first fragrances, and the fact that it was a bit more expensive than other Hugo Boss fragrances made it special for me: I liked to think it was because of the ingredients that were of a higher quality. However, the two ottles I have owned both detoriated after a while. I could clearly notice that after a year or so, the scent didn't have it's "edge" and complexity anymore. I always store my frangrances in a dark place at room temperature, so that couldn't be it. A new bottle of AE is an 8,5/10, an older bottle is a 7/10.

We found this Aqua elements edt spray 100ml FULL BOTTLE in our old stuff and I was really surprised to find this. The P&G version, my father was working for P&G so yes the original 😎 this bottle was hidden for yeeeeeears, so after a big spray, i got a blast of cheap perfume. After 30 mins , I recognized the good old smell, but it's very weak and cheap in my modern standards.....all those years, I was looking for this ??? It must be the emotional experiences that made this so big in my eyes....after all.....it was one of my first fragrances. This is not a fragrance that I will be using alot. It will stay here....

I love this!!! Very, very very sweet almost sickly so to the point of Willy Wonka!!! The initail sweetness reminds me of dolly mixture but it has fruitiness and definite peppery notes which balance it perfectly. I get a little vanilla in the dry down too it's a lovely fragrance. I remember looking at it on here and decided to take a chance on it and I'm so glad I did...a blind buy but I got it cheap. This is another really nice Hugo Boss fragrance...refreshing and after the top notes of sweetness(which endures but is not intrusive) it dries down to a nice scent.

It's so sad this is discontinued. My dad had Elements Aqua as after shave and I used to borrow it from time to time when I was a teenager. It felt almost too manly and masculine for me at the time. This is not an aquatic fragrance as many have pointed out. It's a fresh, woody aromatic scent with a noticeable pepper note as well. Really nice, strong and potent smell. I wish Hugo Boss would make fragrances like this instead of all the endless boring flankers to Boss Bottled and Hugo Man.

Really good one from the house off Boss. Although suggested by the name, bottle and packaging, this is not an aquatic. Rather a warm, oriental scent. A bit sour, which gives it its freshness. Original (I don't know something alike), but unfortunately out of production. My bottle is almost five years old now. I noticed that the smell has vhanged a bit. I recall a rich, creamy base when I first bought it. It's much thinner now, a bit sour as I stated before. Too bad! 8/10

Woody, spicy and sweet. Not really aquatic ... unique. A big dose of juniper blends with mint, amber and sandalwood. Very good projection, long lasting. Great for casual wear. A great fresh scent.

Recently I tried Gisada Uomo. It reminded me a lot of Aqua Elements. Especially at the start. So if you are looking for a replacementfor Aqua Ekements, try that one.

i was sad that this frag was discontinued, but recently i ́ve found a substitute for this spring fragrance, bought boss unlimited much better than aqua elements

Sweet scented and woody! The dry down reminds me of Hugo Dark Blue and Amber Baldessarini.

This is good sweet casual wearing cologne for Spring & Fall seasons

This is my FIRST fragrance, and I bought it after get first salary on my first job after graduating. Just a blind buy... I put my choice just because Hugo Boss had associated with a male, masculine, energy, power and young age. But when I spray it for first time, it not smell like aqua nor something associated with it (citrus or fruity). The strange smell I think, and that's make me dizzy... So I give 2nd chance to Element Aqua, but until many spray, I couldn't except the smell at all. I hate it !!! and keep it for 2 years before my uncle ask it for him.

It's fresh, but the top notes was too much strong for me and the middle not makes me a headache a bit. I remember it's simillar with my father scent perfume. I only used for once and then I give it to him.

Boss Elements Aqua is a damn decent scent. Scent-wise it sits somewhere between Escape for men and Gio. It combines the fruity-woody aspect of Escape, with the watery feel of ADG. There is no point in talking much about notes here. Spray it on, you get a mint-pineapple combo that is as synthetic as it is persistent. It progressed on to a bit of lavender and in the end settles down on a sandalwood base. Like Elements, the execution is very good and the scent comes across loud and clear. It knows what it is. The scent is quite blatant in how synthetic it is. Forget Hugo for men, there is not the slightest hint of a man-made material here. But like Hugo, it works around these "faults" and integrates their downside to create a positive. Speaking of Hugo For Men, I slightly suspect that Bob Alliano had a hand in this scent as well. Elements Aqua feels like a very rough blueprint for Hugo for men. With that being said, don't buy Hugo For Men expecting it's an alternative to this. It is not. For that you want Perry Ellis 360 for men, which is also a damn good scent and 90% related to this. Longevity is very good - 7-8 hours. Rating: 6.5/10

Beautiful hidden gem. So sad that this fragrance was discontinued. You can find online still, but for a steep price. Definitely worth it for those willing to pay its high cost. Don't know why it got laid-off so quickly. It's definitely not because of customer reviews, as this fragrance attracts so much positive attention. Despite the name "aqua", it most definitely isn't the most aquatic scent out there. In fact, it appears to have harnessed ALL the elements, but water. It has a small marine note, but radiates more woody and spicy tones. They come together in a very harmonious, but explosive combo. Definitely not what I was expecting, but that's not a complaint. It is very fresh, and quite sexy. I blind bought a full bottle online, hoping that it was worth the cost. Upon first smell, I had no regrets. I have been wearing it all day, gotten several compliments, and never felt more at ease with the amount I spent. If you have the money, please don't hesitate. It will not disappoint. Overall rating: 9/10

Love this cologne. My hubby has been wearing it for years and he loves it too as women ALWAYS tell him how lovely he smells or ask who is wearing that really nice cologne - he gets them sniffing his neck and going "oh, it is lovely!" Any man who wants women to gravitate to him should wear Elements Aqua! So, so, so appalled that Hugo Boss stopped producing it - I just ordered two more bottles online which we will now treasure, as so difficult to fine any to buy these two may be the last ones he ever has! Simply don't understand why they stopped making a cologne that men like and women LOVE! I keep trying and buying other colognes for him to but not one so far has been appealing as Elements Aqua. Not too spicy, not too fruity, not too anything except delish!

For some reason I've always remembered this, the pale box with that exact font and water drops motif. My closest guess is it was a knockoff version for a birthday and that I found it to be a cloy beast, probably like the real Boss one. Very fresh and bright, consequently not wearing it much, that's why I didn't remember it like I remembered my Boss (Number One) knockoff birthday gift? But I still miss it, last I checked any version of Boss Elements is over 200-300 dollars. How fucked is that.

Fruity-vanilla (mild, which is positive) and light woods. If by aquatic one thinks of Escape, AdG or l’Eau d’Issey, this guy here couldn’t be further from that concept. Imo, it’s not an aquatic by definition. That said, it’s very nice, pleasant and inoffensive. Good for teenagers - boys, girls and those in between - and if it wasn’t for the pyramid, no one would guess that the fruit in here is pineapple.

This juice is like having a warm spicy aqua force field protecting you! This is one of the best spiced aqua scents out there!! If you shut your eyes..you can picture wearing this aboard your Yacht sipping a Campari on the rocks drifting down the Amalfi Coast!! If you can picture that?

i have to say this is the BEST fresh scent ive smelled in some time one thing with the hugo boss line is their spicy fresh sophisticated blends that are really well done excellent scent line much better than D&G, armani and lots of others

Discontinued. So sad. This was one of the most well-balanced aquatic scents I've ever had smelled or worn. I held on to my bottle for as long as I could. Aquatic, aromatic, slightly powdery masterpiece. All-day, all-occasion fragrance.

This is a spicy and green fresh scent which opens with very interesting notes.The middle notes creates on you a deep green atmosphere with some notes similar to Polo Sport. Good scent for any daily situation.

This is, so far, the only fresh scent that's ever worked on me! (I stole it from my stepfather.) A little spicy, a little watery, and very fresh without turning sharp or sour. Excellent!
