Hugo Just Different

Blind bought this from TJMaxx. Got it for roughly $20. Was a mixed thought purchase since most of the reviews are all up and down. So if you are standing in Marshalls/TJmaxx scrolling thru the reviews. I'm gonna recommend it. This smells like a nice Spicy Apple fragrance. I have not come across a frag like this yet. and It really grew on me as a nice fun scent. Good for an enjoyable day out. Came home with this on and the girlfriend loved it. Immediately got a compliment. Smells like a good scent for day or night. Seems like it'll be good for Spring, Summer, and Fall. Has decent strength. Projection is acceptable and lasts decently long. Dry down is similar to it's beginning. So if you enjoy a good Spicy Apple. This is good stuff. I can see myself definitely enjoying this on a Crisp fall day for sure but so far I've enjoyed it in the summer heat. It's not too sweet, it's not too spicy to hurt the nose, and I don't get the sour note that some people have mentioned. Bottle is a nice Matte black looking flask bottle. Smooth nice finish but shame because you can't see the fluid at all. I see so many people ragging on the name "Different" as if it isn't different but seriously I don't smell many scents like this and it's definitely different then it's own house scents. I like how they played outside their typical scents. For a cheap frag, this one definitely is welcome in my collection. I love the small bottle to take with me too for touch ups on the go. I will be sad when this runs out though because it's going to surprise me.

An olfactory burst of energy! Did you ever yearn to wear a non-citrusy good freshie? Well, this is it! Just Different is a fresh fruity/spicy scent with fresh spicy mint, green apple fruitiness, & a cashmeran note that adds a soft woody muskiness. The green apple/mint combo is just so fresh & energetic, that it gives a refreshing vitality boost to the wearer. Meanwhile, the cashmeran gives it a woody muskiness weight, preventing Just Different from becoming another "sporty' fragrance. This is not the freshest scent out there; not very citrus/water heavy like say Kenzo L'Eau par Kenzo, but it is still fresh in it's own minty way. The name, bottle, & ad are a little deceiving: 1. It's not a very "different" fragrance, as to say something completely new/unexpected. Look at niche fragrances for that. 2. The black bottle, along with Jared Leto in a tux, might give the impression that it's a night/date fragrance. While it might be, there are other fragrances that would be more appropriate than Just Different.. It's from the Hugo line after all, which is marketed at the young demographic. Overall, Just Different is a beautiful, comfortable, & did I say "energetic"?, fragrance that's suitable for everyday wear. A well done fragrance from Hugo Boss.

one of my fovourites in absolute. very unique, i can recognize it between hundred of scent. the opening is fresh, then became a little bit warmer. this eau de toilette is very versatile, in my opinion it's good for all the seasons, day and night. for young and adult people. good longevity and sillage. i think hugo boss can evolve this line, maybe a just different intense version could be very interesting. ps i used the after shave lotion and it's great. è uno dei miei profumi preferiti. è molto riconoscibile, lo riesco a distinguere tra tanti. ha un inizio fresco, dopo sembra diventare più caldo. la cosa che mi piace è che il cambiamento è abbastanza evidente, proprio come era nell'intenzione della casa produttrice, qualcosa di diverso e creativo. è molto versatile, adatto a tutte le stagioni, anche se quelle fredde sono preferibili, e va bene per il giorno ma sopratutto per la sera, per una serata con gli amici più che una romantica. la longevità del profumo è buona, così come la proiezione. mi piacerebbe se hugo boss prenda in considerazione una versione intense o extreme di questo profumo. ps ho usato la lozione dopobarba ed è ottima. scent: 8 longevity:7,5 sillage: 7,5 versatility: 8 vote: 8/10

I tested this in a store. It smelled good, so I ordered the smallest bottle for $ 20 (it's the 40ML bottle). It starts with a generic smell for the first 5-10 minutes, but after that, it's a refreshing energetic fragrance. You need to spray 4-5 times at least. Cold & hot weather are both great... Soft projection in cold weather, medium projection in summer. Not a beast. Projection: 2 hours maybe longevity: 5-6 hours Apple, basil & mint give the metallic German vibe to it. Similar refreshing effect as Hugo Boss Man (the original green flask) In the dry down: soft cashmeran, for a relaxing mood. I think it's unique, sometimes I prefer this for it's freshness and for the German vibe. Clothing style: casual blazer, jeans Buying again? Maybe. Do I recommend it: No The original Hugo boss man (or extreme) are better options

What makes this scent so "different" from others it not so much the idea behind it, but much more the WAY HOW it is done: The opening is fresh and spicy and probably the most unique part of the whole scent, but after that you could argue that it descends to a somewhat fresh/woody/balmy standard scent for a young, elegant urban dweller - but still there is something that makes this perfume so special: the quality. Although the most ingredients are probably synthetic, this scent stays throughout the time it lasts on the skin (which is after all 5-7 h on my skin) perfectly balanced - every second it gives you an incredible feeling of warmth, depth, freshness and concinnity. In my opinion, you do not need many perfumes like this one, but if you want one, I would recommend Just Different!

Hugo just different was the first fragrance I ever bought with my own money and I fell in love with it immediately after testing it for the first time. As a teenager I used to wear it every day for any occasion no matter the season but nowadays I don’t wear it as much. I think this is a great scent for young guys who don’t want to spend a lot of money on a designer fragrance to smell good. It hurts me to say this but after some time I realized there are better options out there. Over the years, I went through four bottles of this fragrance. Now, I keep my last bottle tucked away in a drawer, rarely using it. Every once in a while, though, I’ll spray a little on my wrist just to relive the memories of the fun times I had wearing it. It holds a truly special place in my heart.

IDC what others says about this perfume but for me it's a hidden gem. Got it for 25$ 125 ml (tester) and for that price it's no brainer. I like it more than Hugo boss bottled EDT due to its opening, it has much more charecter. That Apple note with Mint and Basil smells delicious, grean, uplifting and little zingy. It reminds me of every other perfumes that has apple note in it (From Nautica Voyage to YSL Y) Performance is great, it projects for 1.5-2 hours, than becomes closer to skin and still gives you whiffs. After 6 hours it becomes skin scent. So 1.5 hours of 2 fit projection 6+ hours of longevity is minimum it performs IMO it's criminally underrated and if you get this $30 just blind buy it. You won't regret VFM: 10/10 Overall: 8/10

Just Different may not be the best name for it, or maybe it is. Because it's not completely unique, but it is different in a way. What I mean is the opening and the dry down are familiar scents, their just not familiar together... if that makes sense. You see, the opening is very minty/fresh/green, but the dry down is very warm/soft/spicy. It's like it becomes a completely different fragrance. Like normally you can get a sense of what the dry down will be like from the opening. This dry down, in my opinion, is nothing like the opening. Like miles different. But that's what I love about this. It has a spring/summer opening, with a fall type dry down.

I have blind bought several Hugo Boss fragrances and while I have never been disappointed, I am thankful I never paid full retail. At discounters the price has been just about right. Most are pleasant scents with poor performance. The one - Hugo Boss Just Different surprised me in the best way. More of an earthy, green scent than I am used to or was expecting from a HB. The performance also exceeded my expectations. Sillage is good and longevity is great. Six sprays, over two hours of good projection (better than my other HB frags). Seven hours, it's still there. A skin scent, but there. This is the nicest surprise blind buy I have had in a while.

it was only by chace that i came to purchess this scent id heard of it and overlooked it untill today and cannot say i am in anyway dissapointed with this fragrance because its exactly what ive been looking for a minty fresh scent that lasts this opens with a spearmint and green apple freshness that lasts for the first three hours then just the apple midway through then finishes with a comforting cashmere with slight minty undertone before fading lovley scent thats fresh and different projection isnt massise but acceptable longivity is good and can be picked up for a pretty reasonable price verdict a must buy

I know this is not very popular opinion but I love that and I think this is great every day fragrance that won't brake you piggy bank. Just because YouTubers don't hype it and don't give it a made up story to get stuck in your brains does not mean that the fragrance does not deserve much more attention. Opening with citrus, apple basil and violet leaf. Then I can detect black pepper, a bit of calone (aquatic notes) florals, juniper berry, clary sage and geranium. The dry down to me it seems to be ambroxan, woods, amber, cashmeran and definitely can get slight hint of the olibanum. Great stuff. Love it

Finally got my hands on a 150ml bottle of this frag. I heard from the reviews below me, it has really bad longevity. But I'd like to contradict; I used 5 heavy sprays and it lasted from 3pm to 10:44 am on me. Maybe my body's really suited for this frag. Yet after typing this review, I'll take a bath and I'm sure the smell will be gone. Them smell is wonderful, and is suited for my age. Since we, youngsters, love to bathe in our colognes. And anyway, I'm a big fan of walking through the hallway, leaving a trail of this fragrance behind me. Kudos to Hugo and this new frag. :) Overall score: 10/10.

i sprayed this on my wrist last december, i liked it, the very friendly , chatty and extremely good looking young woman( i know i did not need to include this part, but i had too ) in superdrug, said she likes this fragrance a lot, so i thought well if she likes it , iam getting it. i bought it today ( 75 ml ) for the summer, it smells great its clean fresh not sweet but has a nice zing about it and after 1 hour i cant quite work out what note it is yet, it's very nice, will buy again.gf likes it. update tried this the other day and ..... the patchulli is quite strong

This one is my mans favourite, majority of the time he puts it on before work. It's fruity, woody, masculine & definitely aromatic. He sprayed 13 spritz this morning while I was standing right next to him. It isn't a massive hit in the face, I think it's perfect. Perfect enough that I stole a couple spritz myself :D we both enjoy this, work safe indeed. Nothing head ache inducing which is good. I think this is a well balanced perfume. Longevity: 3 hours since spraying & it's still going strong. I can positively say you'll get a good 7 to 8 hours out of this :)

Wow, I'm so glad I pulled the trigger on this! This is a "different" one from the others I've tried in the Hugo line. The Cashmeran and the Labdanum give this a nice dark side. Also I think the Olibanum and Patchouli help contribute to that dark side as well. The Basil along with the Mint and Apple give this a noticeable green touch. It still has that freshness though like the original Hugo. If you like fresher scents but with a slight dark edge then I think you'll like this one. To me this is really good! I give this a 93/100.

Nice green scent , opens up quite nicely with fresh green elements like the apple wich carries the opening, the evolution of the perfume is linear no real twist and then dries down to a really good scent , I don't really know how to put names on what I smell other than patchouli but there is more going on , sorry... Longevity wise it really sucks (4-5h max) No projection at all , other than the first 15 minutes , and then it is a skin scent To sum it up it is a good cheap green fragrance but the longetivity is a huge let down .

What a beautiful fragrance! This pushes all the right buttons for me, being a male soon pushing the 50s. I have an extensive collection, been collecting for almost 10 years now, and this is definitely in my top 10 fragrance list of all times. I guess I have to start collecting more Hugo Boss fragrances, those guys know how to make great smelling juices! The dry down is the best part and it lasts and lasts and the creaminess resembles that of the great great Chanel Allure Blanche. Two thumbs up from me.

I love this perfume. It's been my favourite for years. It is just different. It's calming inoffensive and compliment getting at the same time.I'm trying to find perfumes with the same dna but a 'little different' and I can't. For example i bought tommy now which is rated as similar here and it's absolutely not in any part of its journey...top mid or base notes. Hugo boss please make a eau de parfum, or parfum or extrait (Haha) version of just different with eternal longevity and sillage. 10/10

Definitely a good and unique green scent. it cab be mixed with Oriental scents to create a unique and personalized scent that truly reflects your individuality! Got this after losing my luggage and needed to go on a business trip. Bought it for $20 at Ross for a 30mL bottle - do not make this mistake. Buy it online from discounters ~$30 for 125mL on a canteen style. Worth blind buying, thought it is quite green and sweet. Very versatile, signature scent worth though. I really like this and guess I'll upgrade to a full bottle pretty soon.
