Treng Waves

This is such a great fragrance! I've worn Treng Waves now on several occasions and I find this to be such an enjoyable experience every time I wear it. Right when I spray this, the opening instantly triggers some far back memory of myself applying a fragrance for the first time when I was very young and thinking how awesome this smells. Out of everything I own, Treng Waves is the only fragrance to trigger that fond memory. Very strange, there must be some scent accord, perhaps the aldehydes, that resembles something from the past that is making the connection. I'd say I get above average longevity from this where it is still giving off noticeable sillage. This was my scent for the holidays and someone commented how well I smelled, and I'm someone who rarely gets unsolicited comments from strangers. One point of emphasis I think should not be ignored is this has top notch packaging. I don't really care about packaging, but Treng Waves definitely went above and beyond with its presentation. Beautiful, heavy bottle. Everything is just very elegant, definitely something you never see with a $100 fragrance. It pains me that I missed out on Vinoud as I had no idea about Ibrahim Fuhaid, but I know him now and will most definitely be tracking any future releases.

Wow wow wow, I can see why this won the Fragrantica Editor Choice award. Smooth sexy confident leather citrus aquatic fragrance with amazing longevity and a great scent cloud. I’ve gotten multiple compliments on this. It’s nothing like the usual boring citrus. This one is very unique and a banger smells like a richer Louis Vuitton afternoon swim. Like if afternoon swim actually last longer

Excited to try this! For anyone trying to purchase Treng Waves, don't bother attempting to buy it on the perfumer's website as the shipping options are non-existent outside the Middle East. Luckyscent has it available for pre-order at the moment.

Very leathery, musky citrus but still interesting. Smells like getting into a new convertible with expensive leather interior and going on a road trip. I like the aldehydes and the tea notes that are quite present to support the citrus in this.

No much citruses here and not your typical summery fragrance. This is a natural Ambergris focused fragrance with a great smooth / salty leathery accord. A pleasurable experience! Cheers

Interesting semisynthetic citrus aromatic scent that is unique and potent. The scent opens with notes of amped up citrus, lavender and aldehydes. There is a brief heart of mostly tea and peach. The scent settles into a strong ambery musky base with hints of leather and vetiver. The slight masculine leaning scent has strong projection and sillage and is economical and long lasting. Enjoy!

La Yuqawam Homme almost exactly (which is supposed to smell almost exactly like Tuscan Leather, but I can’t vouch for that one). I was so disappointed, only glad that I got a sample from Luckyscent first. This has no fresh, citrus, lavender, brightness etc to it at all and should definitely not be in a green see-through bottle. Everything is misleading about it, looks and note-list wise. Fruity leather, and not in a way that I care for either.

I have totally changed my opinion on this fragrance. After I have cleared from my head my expectations from the ingredients list (none were there as I'd expected)... I actually like what I've discovered in it after having had it for 10 days now and wearing more each day. I'm growing very fond of it. It lifts my daily grind. I'm wearing it to bed tonight. Feels very new/modern to my nose but old world quality. I don't get the tea, peach, citrus, ambergris I was hoping for but I like this totally different fragrance as it turned out to be...whatever it is. I wouldn't trade it now. 10 days ago I wrote: "$110 gone. Not my cup of tea... at all. Other people like it very much when I've worn it. Willing to trade my brand new bottle. Let me know."

Starts with promise, a lovely burst of citrus and peach tea that evokes a sunny Saturday morning, but alas, the cheer doesn't last but twenty minutes. Treng Waves rapidly muddles into a rehash of a familiar early nineties woody oriental composition, full of leathery resins and soft animalics. I can pay $30 and get something just as good (or better) than this, and already have a handful in my collection that beat it, so I have to pass on this one.
