Very odd fragrance, on me, at least - can't detect any trace of coffee! Determined to persevere and continue wearing for a while longer, but definitely not a fragrance I would normally wear. Certainly unusual, wish I could pinpoint what it actually smells of! Maybe more suited for a man, may donate to significant other if he upsets me. *** That review was approx one year ago. I've just bought my 3rd bottle, can't stop wearing it, something about it keeps me hooked! No idea!! I also wear 910 from this brand - which is the one that draws admiring comments from strangers- but this perfume seems to stick with me daily.

More towards the masculine taste than the 914 I also like of this IKON brand, I initially didn't like the harsh bitter coffee note in the opening which, with the spicy heart made this too much for me at first... Gave it a full wear on the opposite arm alongside the 914 and it ended up growing on me as a darker contrast to the other's smooth floral trail. Although never being as sweet as I prefer my oriental fragrances to be, I still picked up the more rounded ambery sandalwood in the base as it neared the end of the day (11am application). Still retaining a touch of the rough and dry memoey of that bitter opening, it turns into a much more leathery warm affair that will have to be an autumn/winter choice for me. Touch too heavy for warmer weather.
