Sucré Juteux

Sucré Juteux was launched in January of 2022, together with Maxximus IX. They follow up on the launches of the Match of Senses line, whose schedule was to bring six new fragrances in the last year, in order to reach a collection of 10 authorial perfumes. However, the search for a more refined final product, in line with the company's proposal, ended up causing some delays – common, by the way – in the samples and in their respective adjustments. Sucré Juteux is classified by the manufacturer as an amber-vanilla perfume aimed at the female audience, following the world trend of banishing the term “oriental” from catalogs, replacing it with the term “amber”. Its fragrance brings notes of iris, cassis, tangerine, orange, and raspberry at the top; Orange blossom, caramel, rose, patchouli, and benzoin, in the body; Tonka bean, vanilla, cedar, sandalwood, white musk, and amber wood in the background. For Sucré Juteux the color chosen was purple, which conveys mystery, luxury, and spirituality. When touching the skin, the fragrance seems to reverse the order of the evolutionary process and immediately brings a floral-vanilla content, which overlaps the fruity accords present in the olfactory pyramid. There's a creamier, more refined tone that reminds me of the scent of gardenia, even more so than the officially listed orange blossom. And then, almost immediately, the fruits explode and remind me of a lollipop that comes with a sachet, whose powder crackles in your mouth. It's juicy, but it's artificial. This isn't really a problem, but it slightly reduces the floral quality of the initial impact. And of course, it's a synthetic compound – probably a raspberry ketone – that, for some, will end up reminiscent of a grape, cherry, or a mix of red berries smell. Sucré Juteux challenges the market and shows that it was not produced to be mediocre. Its fragrance exudes a lot and the olfactory tape used by me, in the tests, remained fragrant for three consecutive days. And this is only possible, nowadays, by paying a little more for the raw materials. Over time, some other facets become more evident, such as caramel and patchouli. The fragrance leaves the fruity state and goes towards a milkier dry down. On my skin, the vanilla was not as noticeable as the tonka bean. In the same sense, sandalwood was more evident than the other woods. Sucré Juteux does not seem to be a one-dimensional perfume. I've seen reports of people surprised by the powdery iris, as well as people impacted by citrus juiciness. I won't question it because, in a way, the fragrance seems mutating and full of will. On my skin, I even experienced smokier flashes on some days, which were not repeated on others. Finally, those who like the olfactory path of the L'Interdit perfume will really like Sucré Juteux. Really, it is more geared towards the female audience, its performance is excellent, and the fragrance is not limited to night use or milder temperatures. A friend's advice: don't be fooled by the name, because Sucré Juteux is less sweet than it claims.
