Jaguar Classic Black

very nice aromatic eau de toilette. What many will callfougère! To be used as such for 36 hours lasting pleasures on your clothes for your nose. 100% softer version of SPC Paris Bleu club 4011 which is not in the database. Oriental, not to me, nothing really sweet but delicious aromates & somehow woody indeed after 5 hours wearing it. I wander how people uses eau de toilettes for saying it does not last! I had a couple of sprays on my neck, a very few on my jumper & then some on my chest true the neck collar and can still smell it 2 days after I had it sprayed. I guess most people will have some on their neck only which is not the way to use an eau de toilette for best results! There is a difference in between eau de parfum & eau de toilette. The bottle is the same as for previous Jaguar's fragrances except it is all black & not transparent. Very nice & classy. I agree you will not perfume the room & disturb everyone around you but that is not to excpect from quality brands & fragrances. Want everyone know you are wearing some perfume? Wear some unknown cheap brand & fragrance! A perfume is to be something personal you wear for yourself & those that come close to you. I will definitily recommend this one the way I would recommend the blue version. Nice about them is you can grab them pretty cheap on the web while they used to cost a £55 a few years ago.

I can see how much this is a hit or miss. But I really don't get the haters. Most aromatic fragrances are synthetic anyway. Unless you can afford stuff like ADG or YSL EDP and wanna use a $100 fragrance as your daily driver. . I love this scent so much (tastes are different obviously) but unfortunately the longevity is sucks and it gets almost skin or car scent after 30 minutes . And we can't complain for this price. I can't forget when 7 years ago I oversprayed this and entered the class then suddenly all my classmates asked me what I'm wearing it smells so nice. I wish jaguar produce this fragrance with higher quality even if it costs more. Scent: 9/10 Projection: 5/10 Longevity: 3/10 Value for money: 9/10 If you know better alternative for this fragrance but with the same DNA , please tell me 🙏🏼

A great cologne for a cheap price! Light, clean and fruity, but not too sweet. Doesn't last long or project that much, but ladies have said it smells great. Not offensive, and very pleasant. Can't go wrong, for any occasion. I'd buy a small bottle again, even with the poor performance. Update: Sorry to see more dislike votes than love votes for this one. I guess the dry down is unappealing for many. This one is great for the first hour or two. Lovely scent, but don't expect beastly projection, performance, or the nice opening scent to remain for the duration. It's just a decent cheapie, but a personal love for me.

Classic Black Jaguar is a really really good one from Jaguar , i had it for 3 years & i just finished it today ( consumed in 10 days I'm a row ) , although it dose not have a black paper note , i do gets it & i love it it's really a well done one with all the components all together , grate for winter especially at night but i wore it every day , day & night for the past 10 days as i said earlier & it's also suitable for work place as it gives a sophisticated image. Scent : 7/10. Bottle Design : 9/10. Longevity : 6 to 8 hours. Sillage : 4 hours. Virtuosity : 6/10. P.S. trying to get another one soon by God' well.

i see a lot of mid or bad reviews but to me this perfume is actually very special. maybe my nose isnt refined enough but i find that most perfumes for men smell way too similar. but for this one, theres just something so amazing about the way it smells after it has been on the skin for a while. it could be because in 9th grade my crush used to wear this, but it always makes me feel obsessed, like i just have to keep smelling it, and honestly it makes me feel a bit turned on too 😓😓 embarrassing tbh. it was the first perfume to evoke so many emotions from me hahhaaha

100% soft aromatic fragrance. Nice but very close to classic blue & Yves de Sistelle's chairman blue which is not listed on the site. Fruity? Not at all, spicy neither. Nice but ways too close toprevious blue one. Seing black I was hoping for something a bit like Montana's Black edition or at least something different I do like aromatic fragrances so I'd say it is an ok one to add to the nice aromatic but nothing special family! To be found pretty cheap & always nice to give as a gift or to use when not feeling like wearing & doing anything special

This is a perfect Work/uni scent, its really refreshing, mature and a crowd pleasure. This style of DNA is made to be liked and for Classic Black, you get exactly that. It lasts me a good 6hrs and projects nicely during the first couple of hours. Its an all year round and you can rock this to pretty much anything from work to the bar to a wedding, it will always fit in. You can overspray it and abuse the bottle because its like 20 bucks at most. No brainer, go get it.

very nice fresh aromatic fragrance but very similar to classic blue. I've been wearing both a few times & honestly; it is very hard to smell any difference. I bet people around won't smell any. Whatever, both have very nice bottles & lovely quiet long lasting fresh power if used as an eau de toilette. Spray it a few times on your neck & skin if you want but most of all; spray it on & in your clothes true your collar

This is probably the absolute SAFEST blindbuy ever it is such an amazing scent profile it is very basic but somehow absolutely insane The Apple in this is somehow better than most designer fragrances that cost $120 this is absolute next level fragrance during the dry down it's fresh like the main vibe is fresh but it also has this kind of dark back vibe to it it's really amazing 10/10

This was one of the firsts in my fragrance journey. Smells great, cheap price, and ladies like it as well. If it performed a little better, would be a beast. I'll always appreciate Jaguar Classic Black and be happy it's still around for $15.

It is a very good fragrance. Inexpensive, like really cheap. Smells so fresh, projects well, lasts long and draws compliments. Value for money. Rating: 8.5/10. (10/10 if seen money wise)

Just got it today for 20$ very nice smell but not strong good for any occasion one of my top perfumes

Think of a classic like Paco Rabanne Pour Homme and then make it lighter, fresher and brighter so that it's much more appealing. That's what Swiss Army Clasic is. It's a good blend of citrus, mint, lavender, herbal and musky aromas with a strong soapy drydown. It's a very fresh and clean cologne, so much so that it does make me realize that classic aromatic fougeres can actually be quite heavy-handed despite not being sweet. Despite the improvements to the classic aromatic fougere formula, the overall aroma doesn't really stand out. This is not an attention grabber and not intended to be. It may come off as smelling like soap or body wash to some users. It's also not unisex as I can't see a woman wearing this as perfume. This is an extremely versatile cologne. It's great for all ages and all occasions and should shine in warmer weather. Unlike most aromatic fougeres, at least the ones still left on the market, this is quite good for younger users as well as older ones and will appear to all ages. Still, it is very much an aromatic fougere and so may remind younger users of the previous generations and put them off from it. C'est la vie. Presentation is great, a solid all metal slim cylindrical bottle that is clearly meant to remind you of a Swiss Army knife/tool. Performance is very good and the price is very affordable. Recommended.

It has fresh, aquatic and baby powder scents with an edge I can only describe as metallic and I am sure that is no accident. It literally smells like a freshly cleaned chrome car bumper straight off of the car wash. The fragrance literally is its branding. Nicely done. That carries to the beautiful and stylish metallic bottle which looks better than many designer fragrance bottles. Unfortunately, it's got a hugely fatal flaw that prevents it from reaching the upper echelons of designer fragrances -- its incredibly weak performance. It has alarmingly low longevity, sillage and projection. This lack of performance keeps it in the cheapie price range. If the performance were stronger, it would easily be worth 4 to 5 times its current drugstore and discount asking price. I would think that a classy and pricy brand like Jaguar would want to have its fragrance thought of in the same manner as its cars. It should have and could have IMHO been a higher end fragrance brand along the lines of Coach or Polo or Diesel. If only it had been stronger, I could easily see it giving the Azzaro Chromes, Montblanc Legends and other high end fresh fragrances a run for their money as legitimately worthy competition. It never will be with the current formulation's lack of performance. Shame given that it's really a great smelling cologne. This is suitable for any occasion. It leans younger and I would recommend it for teens to men in their 30s and 40s but no older. Be prepared to overspray and have to do it more than once in a day. Fortunately, it's inexpensive so you go through the bottle freely and replenish afterwards.

So a jaguar walks into a bar and just stands there like it owns the place. The bartender stunned by the jaguars presence asked the big cat can I help you? The jaguar just ignored the bartender as it was approached by a hot looking blonde woman that said mmmmm you smell niceeee. The jaguar smiled and said thank you and the blonde followed the jaguar back outside to his a car which ironically was a black Jaguar X-Type. They both drove off in his car and had an awesome night together. Thats how I can best describe Classic Black Jaguar for men when I am trippin. This was a total blind buy and have no regrets since I payed less than $20 for this bottle. Speaking of the bottle I did notice some reviewers like the look but in my opinion it looks OK yet it feels clunky and cheaply made...I hope the cars don't match that description. The first few sprays are interesting and yes there are some shades of Chrome but I get a sweeter and more musky flavor from Jaguar. Not a strong scent but just the right amount to get noticed by those around you. The citrus fades into a woody vibe a few hours later and barely leaves a mark after 6 hours on my body. Not bad actually I like it alot but do please try a sample of this if you can. Its best to wear at night so you can leap into action as you search for your prey! I may try out other Jaguar scents but for now I am a cool cat with Jaguar Classic Black. *Update* It is leading my pack of colognes when it comes to compliments! Unexpected results when you give it time. 8 out of 10

Apple / melon type opening, very sparkling fresh, soapy, fruity...the cardamom in here makes it very soapy. It's perfect for hot weather and would be a good gym scent or casual everyday wear scent. Girls will love this on guys and it's a safe wear for guys under the age of 30. Very youthful and clean smelling scent, you will smell like you have great hygiene by wearing this. I don't say this often, but this does have that shower gel vibe to it. Meaning that it's just very soapy and clean which comes from the cardamom, with that touch of synthetics to it but not overdone with the synthetics. It does still smell cheap but it doesn't smell bad like a lot of cheap fragrances do. Keep in mind the cardamom in this doesn't come across the same as in la nuit, this is more of a soapy fresh cardamom which is closest to the real thing in real life. Cardamom in real life is quite bitter and soapy tasting, but also quite lemony and tangy. You will get that in this fragrance Not an aquatic scent though so don't expect it to be aquatic, it's fruity, soapy and shower gel clean. Like I said this just makes you smell like you have very good hygiene and like a very clean person. And girls will find that sexy, a girl will smell you and instantly be like oh this guy smells clean like he showers often and has good hygiene.

I like Jaguar fragrances every day more. The luxury idea linked to their cars – world-renowned – makes our brain, immediately, mix the fragrance to the power and sophistication sensations. To make it better, the bottles use to be heavy and well done. In this case, the bottle brings the sobriety of the black with silver details and an engraved lid, alluding to their cars’ aerodynamics. Particularly, I can see myself inside a black XJ model, full of luxury and refinement. The fragrance is rich in notes and starts out slightly sweet, with orange, green apple, and mandarin. Then, shows a spicy facet with cardamom and nutmeg, along with a touch of geranium and black tea. Yet, in the heart, seawater nuances. In the end, its fougère side emerges with oakmoss and vetiver tones, allied to creamy notes of sandalwood, musk, and tonka beans. Despite its comparisons with Azzaro Chrome Legend, this one develops differently on the skin. Both of them share some notes but, while Azzaro is fruitier and more refreshing, with an aromatic characteristic, Jaguar has more presence and has no refreshing intention, especially because its spicy notes don’t allow it. I consider it a luxury easy-to-wear scent, with very good projection and lasting power and that can be worn on any occasion or weather.
