Sugarpop Cotton Candy

I recently got this fragrance for $10 at Burlington. I was hoping for a super bright cotton candy type scent and was really excited for the passion flower note (because I used to find wild ones growing around Texas and they always fascinated me with their alien like beauty). Tonight to try this fragrance I put it on after my shower. I usually use a tea tree and rosemary Shampoo, a very bright scented shower gel from BBW, and then Strawberry Pound Cake lotion by BBW. I then sprayed one spray on each wrist of this perfume. Before the dry down it was very muddled and indistinct what I was smelling. 30 mins later, I am smelling it and I get a very clean fresh scent to go with my lotion and body gel, and I am picking up on the champagne and black currant note. I don't smell patchouli at all currently. For me this is definitely something I'll wear when I want something that is a clean skin scent on me. I'm probably going to try to pick up a back up or two from Burlington to make sure I have more since it is a discontinued scent.

I saw this at TJ Max. I was intrigued by the name which reminded me of “Pink Sugar”. I bought it for a good price for 1.7 oz. First two sprays on my wrist were great! I could immediately smell the top notes most noticeably the champagne and black currant. It stayed that way for about 30 mins or so, followed by the middle notes. Top and middle notes were blended so smoothly. The dry down is soft, sweet but not cloying. The Amber just made it such a lovely fragrance. I like it a lot! It’s safe to use daily. I have Pink sugar and to me, this is way better! It’s a safe blind buy.

I blind bought this at TJMaxx for $10 thinking it would be similar to cotton candy cloud by bath and body works. I was familiar with the brand because for some time femme noir was my signature scent. This particular perfume DOES smell very bright, fruity, and sweet but I do not get any cotton candy notes. At first, I was disappointed with it not smelling like the way I thought it would in my head but I since gave it another try and now I use this more as a layering perfume.

Pretty sure I got this from Burlington or TJ Max for probably about $10. This doesn’t smell like cotton candy whatsoever. It’s more fruity, picking up the black currant with a hint of grape and I also get the amber on the dry down. It’s a nice smell that lasts about 6 hours and people can smell you as you walk by as well. I wouldn’t compare this to Pink Sugar at all. It’s in a category of it’s own but still very sweet. Worth the buy. 7.5/10 🙂

This WAS very sweet, but I wasn't hit with the kind of Cotton Candy I was lookin for. If you love a Pink Sugar Aquolina type of cotton candy fragrance, Jean Marc Paris actually has a better one called "Sexy Secret". It's fruitier with a core of almond instead of the strong Anise. I find it has a better balance between all the elements than the original.

Smells very much like Pink Sugar. My skin preferred this one but there are only very slight differences. Pink Sugar projects more though.

This perfume was my impetus for making a Fragrantica account; I hated it that much. Blind bought it at Burlington, thinking it would be similar to something like Pink Sugar, without knowing anything about the notes. It smells like you poured hand sanitizer in a bottle and called it a day. To give this perfume some grace, I picked up the most floral notes on the dry down. Needless to say, I was disappointed, and I ended up pouring it into my diffuser.

If ever there were a fragrance with a name that in no way matched the scent, this is it. Smells just like a man's cologne. There isn't a hint of cotton candy to it. Would be lovely as a man's cologne, but since it's marketed for women, I must say that it is plain awful if you're looking for a feminine scent.

At first this reminded me of ari by Ariana grande. Fruity sweet and I did not want to keep this perfume. The dry down is just sweet. I cannot pick a specific note. I def don’t smell champagne.. I smell fruity but more jammy then anything. And of course sugary sweet. I wish it smelled like cotton candy.. this is what I was hoping for when I got this bottle. I don’t mind the dry down and it is a very simple sweet scent I’m sure I can combine with another perfume if I want that sweet note. Writhing and your this became a skin scent but i don’t mind that. I got it for $10dls so I am just going to keep it.

Seems like a lot of people are disappointed this doesn't smell like cotton candy but if you haven't noticed.....cotton candy is not the only note. I'm going to leave that there.....Anyways, I actually like this scent for what it is, a sweet fresh kind of scent which is what I expected from the notes I read, who woulda thought 🤷🏼♀️

This scent smells nothing like cotton candy to me.I never ate cotton candy that had patchouli, champagne, sandalwood, amber, vetiver..This was gross!

Very generic and sweet. I don't detect any cotton candy note....

Gross. I want my $8 dollars back.
