La Belle Paradise Garden

At first I was kind of disappointed, and I’m surprised it hasn’t been mentioned here yet but it opened with a menthol note ! Or maybe a “cooling?” Note? I don’t hate it at all actually I think it’s it’s really interesting. Along with that some non descriptive florals I don’t even know I’d suggest as tropical or close to the ones listed in the notes. I don’t get the banana thing others keep taking about. The magic happens in hot weather when this warms up on the skin. It starts off with that “menthol / cooling” opening but then blossoms into a gorgeous warm toasted and tropical edition of La Belle. It smells like water nymph's or sirens playing in a tropical waterfall surrounded by beautiful tropical florals - if you’ve ever seen the Sheryl Barber books that’s exactly the visual - ethereal, glittery, warm pastels. There’s a spread on a white linen cloth for when the nymph’s are hungry from playing in the glittery blue water fall - the spread contains freshly cut papayas, guava, figs, vanilla coconut milk and toasted sugared almonds. Somehow even while being so different it still holds the original La Belle spiced pear vanilla in the base - it can transition between this beautiful toasted tropical almond vanilla with guava and papaya to the dry down of La Belle. It scratches the same itch for me villain did - they have similar vibes but by no means smell the same. This is beautiful layered with La Belle OG, Le Parfum, Almond, Vanilla it’s gorgeous layered and on its own. Lasts all day with beautiful projection and silliage. Definite staple in my collection.

i have a lot to say about this fragrance, though i have smelled it 5 times at best. made me get my own bottle. let me start off with a visual description of what this smells like: picture yourself in the middle of a tropical forest, near a waterfall with flowers blooming all around you and ripe, juicy, fresh fruits on the trees. it has just stopped raining and the hot sun is out again. truly a paradise, hence the name. this leads me to another point - i can smell some notes that aren't included in the official description. those would be fresh fruity notes, such as pear (like in og la belle, less syrupy ofc), coconut, mango, pineapple and maybe other tropical ones. the fruits are generally the background, as the spotlight is stolen by floral notes, with blue lotus being the most prominent one. so to sum up: this is a floral, fresh, aquatic, juicy, slightly sweet and a little fruity fragrance. a summer nectar in a bottle. smelling it makes me feel thirsty sometimes. when it comes to longevity, a few sprays on my wrist after testing paradise garden in a store lasted for 12+ hours, shower included. now, as i have my own bottle, the longevity and intensity are not yet so developed and the fragrance settles very close to the skin. this and the scent definitely get better with a little maceration. honestly, i didn't even like it too much from the first smell. look where we are now :) i recommend!

Just letting everyone know..this is not limited edition. I confirmed it with jpg who said it’s a permanent part of the La belle collection. It doesn’t say in the description limited edition either. They said their limited edition at the moment is the flower edition 😊 I’ve been wearing this for a while since it came out last year and it is a beautiful fragrance. It’s unique, uplifting, fresh, sweet but not too sweet, sensual and heavenly. Very pretty and feminine. I did previously have divine which part of it I fell in love with but there were notes that I didn’t like and I just couldn’t get past them...so I had been looking for another jpg to take its place and this one ticked all the boxes for me. It’s a completely floral scent and I’m so surprised that I loved it so much but it is definitely floral in a modern way not grandma style. There are more notes to this perfume which I wish were listed here. Apparently such as ginger, ylang ylang, almonds and heliotrope although it doesn’t give this away on the jpg website either 🤷🏻♀️Anyway whatever the full notes are love it 🌷 Also the bottle is just stunning, spraying this on makes you feel like a goddess by a lagoon with beautiful flowers and wildlife all around as the bottle suggests. I get lots of compliments with this one and I’ve never smelled this on anyone else and that’s the kind of fragrance I like. 😍

How do I even describe La Belle Paradise Garden? It’s floral but not overly so, vanilla-y, but not overly so, powdery but not overly so, aquatic but also not overly so... you get the gist. It’s stunning. Somehow, La belle paradise is both present and elusive. It announces itself while staying soft around the edges: it's young and playful yet undeniably also sophisticated and a little mysterious. I had multiple people stop me in the street and tell me I smelled good while walking around the east village yesterday evening. Somehow the image I want to settle on is this: a young tomato garden surrounded by flowers and lightly coated in morning dew—not a syrupy sweet floral but a fresh and slightly green flower garden with the subtlest gourmand afterthought to add the perfect amount of grounding depth. I get the powdery iris when the fragrance settles, but it's not overpowering. To me, the woman who wears this scent is effortless and airy: flowing dresses, perfect hair that catches the wind. There’s an ephemeral quality to her presence—and to this fragrance—that just feels so perfect for the summer. So happy I stumbled upon this at Sephora (I bought the full 3.4oz bottle after testing just once, and have no regrets).

This fragrance is not like Gaultier Divine but the opening is, here's my take: The opening has that salty marine note in divine that hits you in the face at first. However, this fragrance quickly settles down on my skin into a nice slightly salty but aquatic floral with vanilla. Now there is more vanilla in this but I sometimes sense the vanilla and sometimes don't. On my clothes, I smell more vanilla. And on my skin, I sense the salty marine note. Overall, beautiful fragrance. When I tested Gaultier Divine, I didn't like how potent the salty note was and it didn't settle down at all like this fragrance. It just got stronger and stronger for me. However, I will say this, in terms of performance and longevity - I think Gaultier Divine was way stronger in both aspects. She was POTENT. I'm still trying to experiment with Paradise Garden. I've been trying to find more reviews but feel like Le Belle Paradise Garden isn't as popular as the men's since this is a relaunch. Also, can we just appreciate the bottle, How stunning is she? Update: I'm really bummed on the sillage, she projects on me for 2 hours max then becomes a skin scent

I literally got 12—yes, TWELVE—compliments in one day on my JPG La Belle Paradise Garden 😮🔥 A man actually chased me down just to get the details so he could buy it for his wife for Valentine’s Day. That officially dethroned Amouage Guidance, which held the crown at 10 compliments by strangers in a single day. Those 2 have me (and everyone around me) in a chokehold. On skin, it feels radiant and joyful.... the fragrance equivalent of being told you look beautiful when you weren't expecting it. If the original La Belle is a sultry evening out, Paradise Garden is her glowing, carefree sister: barefoot in a tropical garden at golden hour, effortlessly turning heads wherever she goes. Extremely feminine... juicy, creamy, and tropical without ever crossing into sunscreen territory. The sweetness feels lush rather than sugary, like biting into perfectly ripe fruit while warm florals drift through the air. There's something playful about it, but also undeniably elegant. Love at first sniff. ❤️❤️

To those complaining about the confusing relaunch of this scent with the note changes - a couple of years ago, the EU banned a bunch of perfume notes and ingredients to make perfumes healthier for the wearer and the environment. Lily of the Valley was one of those notes. Perfumers went nuts trying to reformulate with new ingredients to make the same old scents, NPR did a story about it. Around the time that ban took effect, Fleur Terrible was launched. Common sense tells me QB took his time making sure he got the reformulation with the EU-compliant ingredients perfect before the official launch. I'm a bit bummed out because I did buy many backup bottles of Fleur Terrible (my #1 fav perfume ever/signature scent), but I am still going to order one of these the first chance I get after release in the US. I'm also tempted to buy the Beau/Male Paradise Garden version of this fragrance because those notes look GOOD and I'm secretly hoping it will be a bit unisex.

The is GORGEOUS! I just bought a 100ml bottle and feel like I need a backup bottle already. It's floral, vanilla, tropical and fruity. Good sillage and projection. It does remind me of a much more elevated Bahamas from B&BW because of that banana flower note. This isn't noticeable at first, but comes out for me more in the mid notes. I have Divine, but haven't worn it yet and haven't tried them side by side. I think they may be somewhat similar, not exact and to me they seem different enough to own both. I'm thrilled at finding this fragrance as it was a blind buy and love from first spray. There are no icky notes to "get through" before you get to the good part. I think this fragrance could be worn year round and isn't pigeonholed into just one or two seasons. I just love it! I hope they never discontinue this again! (It was previously Fleur Terrible. Terrible name for a beautiful fragrance, IMO.)

JPG La Belle Paradise Garden feels like stepping into a dream....a sweet memory, the lush tropics, and a fleeting crush all at once. Its radiant and lush, immediately bringing some aspect of Mugler’s Alien to mind, though softened with a more enchanting, delicate twist. I can easily see this making my shortlist of “glow-up” scents for next year. The sweetness is beautifully balanced by a watery, ozonic lotus note that keeps it fresh, blending creamy and green facets in perfect harmony. On fabric, it reveals an unexpected banana-almond-ginger-talc scent, with a touch that even recalls the richness of Arabian perfumes. Pleasant and uplifting, it stirs something childlike within me, a comforting yet hopeful reminder of innocence, wrapped in elegance and sophistication. EDIT: It smells like Paco Rabannes Olympea, much more than it does Alien by TM!

This is a beautiful aquatic and slightly sweet iris scent. Iris is not typically one of my favorite notes, but I really like how it is done here. The iris in Paradise Garden is not a “carroty” or earthy iris, it’s more of a smooth “plastic”-ish iris similar to the iris note in ELDO She Was an Anomaly. It’s nicely balanced with the aquatic notes (I think that’s the water lotus?), which give it a watery, delicate quality. The vanilla is also present enough to sweeten it just a tad. The fragrance is also present and long-lasting without being in-your-face, as some other JPG perfumes can be (I’m looking at you, Scandal...). I’d be comfortable wearing Paradise Garden to work. Oh, and how freakin’ gorgeous is that blue bottle. Seriously. It’s one of my most favorite bottles in my collection of *cough* over 100 perfumes.

What a gorgeous, sexy summer scent. It’s mild and sunny today here in the usually raining UK, and I wanted something uplifting without smelling too sunscreen-like. This little number fits the bill perfectly. My fiancé bought me a huge bottle for Christmas after we kept smelling it in the airport, and honestly, it feels so elegant, feminine, and happy every time I wear it. I get cool, refreshing lotus, a slightly salted warm vanilla, and fluffy iris. It’s luminous and airy but still sensual, the kind of scent the hottest woman at the resort would be wearing. It makes me want to be somewhere tropical in a turquoise dress, staring out at a sparkling ocean with the sun on my skin. I can’t wait to see how this one really blooms in the heat of summer. ✨

I love this, but I do not get any “aquatic” freshness at all. In fact, this is a rather sweet, intense powdery vanilla on me. I smell almonds and a little bit of fruity coconut during the dry down. Oddly, I get some bananas, too! But it might be my nose being confused by the coconut. There is a very subtle “salty” note that blends quite well. It DOES share its DNA with La Belle. They are quite similar, except La Belle is a lot “warmer”, while this is slightly fresher and fruity (Still very powdery). Weirdly, it really reminds me on how “le male - elixir” smells on my boyfriend, this perfume is only fresher and sweeter. I really like this and will be purchasing a full bottle these Holidays. I adore JPG fragrances and this is no exception.

Lovely, lush tropical vanilla! A very safe blind buy, reminiscent of Olympea but less salty and white floral - this leans more aquatic and the watery florals ground the strong vanilla that comes forward. I think this is a lovely day/night scent for warmer weather and all ages - this would be lovely on summer vacations, strolling around in the sun, after showering from a long, comforting beach day. Also lasts about 6h on skin and clothes, projects beautifully in higher temperatures. By the drydown, this becomes a musky, slightly bitter lotus/iris that is very reminiscent of a luxurious spa or hotel, which I completely adore and find so soothing, sophisticated and relaxing after the potent vanilla sweetness. Love this one very much :)

Just recently bought this one and I made sure to get the biggest size because I love it so much and I expect it to become one of my new daily scents. This fragrance is perfect for someone like me who loves aquatic notes but it blends them with the vanilla extremely well to transform this into something that you can wear everyday without ever becoming old or overpowering. If my nose had to paint a picture, it would look like taking a shower outdoors on a misty damp tropical island. To me, this fragrance is floral in a way that is very light and airy, comforting and peaceful, subtle but very impactful nevertheless. This is definitely my favorite from JPG.

I adore this. I tried this in store today and it's definitely going to be the next thing I purchase. The notes being listed as straight up floral surprises me considering what I got the most from it was powdery sweetness. It's an amazing daytime and warm weather scent for people who typically love gourmands and darker fragrances. I tend to dislike floral-heavy fragrances and I really want to own this. In all honesty, I prefer it to the original and all other flankers I've tried. It does something that is very difficult to do extremely well, which is to make a summer perfume for gourmand lovers that doesn't feel too adolescent.

I am a lover of La Belle and a lover of Quentin Bisch, so I decided to blind buy this as soon as I saw a decent price here in the USA... Instant love! I completely disagree with the published notes - though the name "paradise garden" is still fitting. This reminds me of a Caribbean Breeze, especially with the aquatic notes. This gives vanilla plus exotic tropical fruit accords, like coconut, guava, melon. Projection is nuclear, I can still smell it in the room I initially sprayed it in. 100% safe blind buy if you like sweet and tropical. This will be my summer vacation signature scent!

I hate gourmands. I hate most vanilla fragrances. I was gifted this perfume & decided to keep it purely because it is JPG. But this fragrance has changed me. This is the only vanilla fragrance I like. It smells like you just stepped out of the shower with your lover- clean, aquatic, horny. Alternatively, that beautiful period of serenity after you bathe where you just sit on your bed in the towel and let the sunlight come through your window. My only warning: more than one spray and you are a walking migraine, terrorising everyone around you.

It's funny how it changes between original La Belle DNA and something totally different, depending on my skin chemistry on a given day. Somehow this fragrance is at its best when I'm at my worst, considering the hormones for example. It needed to breathe for a while after the opening, but a few weeks after the magic started happening. As Kon-nos91 said below, it is a reminiscence of the original La Belle's quality, even if different notes and slightly tropical vibe. It brings the same elegance, femininity and freshness to the table.

This was something unexpected, when I first tried it. Couldn’t compare to any other perfume, and for me it’s still a unique piece. I can literally picture myself in Hawaii, where the tropical forest and the ocean meets, when I spray it. The lotus with the sweet undertone is mesmerizing, and somehow I recognize coconut water, even if it’s not listed. It’s a head turner scent, what you wear when you feel like you can take over the world, so I would recommend not to wear sweat pants with this.

Tropical vibes on! I have got my bottle yesterday and tested it. Beautiful flowers in the opening with touch of marine notes. Flowers like iris, heliotrope, ylang yland (there is more than 3 notes for sure!) I also feel lika a banana vibe from it. Base note is vanilla plus iris, very comforting, little sweet and powdery. Love it! Longevity is great like every other fragrance from JPG family 🙌🏻 I know this is la belle flanker but to be honest...it should be divine flanker. They are sisters!

I got a sample of this and ordered it immediately!!! It’s so delicious! Sweet, fresh, vanilla a good spring, summer, early fall scent or all year round here in Florida 😂 JPG never misses with his fragrances I love them all. But this is like La belle but for summer. Super yummy but lighter. I get tropical sexy vibes and when I wear this I feel like a mermaid. I smell pear, coconut, iris, some aquatic notes and vanilla. I know those notes aren’t listed but that’s what I smell. Love it!

i just got this today & omg i love it !!! this is a winner & the notes are perfect :) i get a good dose of iris & vanilla & im loving it..........not sure what blue lotus smells like or its purpose but it doesnt seem to ruin the scent lol i feel like im on a tropical vacation with the wind blowing - listening to crashing waves-watching colorful parrots fly by & not thinking about a thing :) just taking in the aroma of iris & vanilla :) cute bottle too !!!

Ugh I need this. I spray it on myself every time I go to Sephora. It's quite long lasting, especially considering it's a summery, airy fragrance. Typically that style of fragrance tends to not have the best longevity, but this one is impressive. I wouldn't say the scent is particularly ground breaking, but it is just a beautiful, soft floral that envokes an ethereal feeling ✨️ it makes me happy every time I smell it, hence why I need it in my collection.

I Love this perfume. it's exactly what I need for this summer 👌 persistent enough, a moderate sillage but it's perfect like that for me. and I'm happy, that although according to the ingredients table, it contains quite a lot of vanilla, it's barely noticeable... for me it smells fresh, floral. i love this perfume.😍on my skin I felt it for around 6 hours, but on my clothes I can still feel it very well after 24h. a gorgeous perfume!

I find this amazing fragrance with a incredible sillage and projection. Once I ́ve wore at work and next day I could smell traces of it on my desk. Is about vanilla, lotus, iris, heliotrope, a little salty, marine vibe. Ultra mega delicious 🌺❤️ The name totally fit "Paradise Garden" is aquatic marine vibe, but still sweet, comfy and pleasure. A Quentin Bisch job, what else to say?😃

This was love at first sniff for me! Just had to get it immediately after trying it. It's like drinking a fruity coconut milkshake on a tropical beach where salty waves roll in. A dreamy mix of coconut, almond, banana, vanilla and soft florals 😍 Sillage is enormous and fills the room and it lasts forever too. One of my all time favourites! Overall rating: 9/10

I have had Fleur Terrible for a while now and since I have tried Paradise Garden, I would have no problem buying a full size Garden to replace Fleur. The longevity to me is a bit longer than Fleur, and it's an all around better blended fragrance than the first. Mostly an aquatic La Belle and that's what I love about it. Love at first sniff. I am picking up some creamy coconut, fig, & a salty sweetness here that I see missing in the pyramid. Silage was actually amazing- if i wasn’t afraid adding oil would ruin it somehow, i would ask for an intense version. think im gonna pair with the deep conditioning shea + coco butter jergens for summer 🥥🥨🤠🌞

If it's really a relaunch of Fleur Terrible I'm buying a bottle with another one as a backup. I loved Fleur Terrible and was so disappointed when it sold out. Edit: I finally got it and it's as beautiful as I expected it to be, I love the scent, watery, tropical but not overly sweet, salty, greenish, flowery, pure bliss :)

blind bought this as it was on sale and i fricking love it its so perfect for summer and especially as i live in a hot climate it doesn't smell too cloying or head achy. the perfect blend of fresh sweetness and lingers softly on my skin 😍 to me this is like the movie barbie as the island princess - or barbie mermaidia

Beautiful - fresh and slightly tropical aquatic scent. Long lasting and good sillage. Nothing like the standard Le Belle which is far too heavy and sweet for me. This is an easy reach, safe blind buy in my opinion. Reminds me of a slightly less addictive female version of Le Beau Le Parfum which my bf has and I LOVE.

The opening makes you feel like you are in a garden with lots of flowers, but this lasts just a moment. Then the iris takes over, and the drydown is the La Belle dna with iris. Not syrupy or warm like the og, but fresher, softer and aquatic. But not weak at all. I love it, it will be perfect in spring and summer.

This perfume smells like a lush well watered garden, filled with sweet flowers like honey suckle (not white flowers) As it dried down that vanilla cremy/powderiness really shines through. It sits close to the skin which I like because I work very close with other people. I keep smelling my wrist through the day.

I’m usually so hesitant when it comes to choosing a new perfume, but this one captivated me instantly. I loved its delicate, feminine charm, and the way the iris and vanilla come together—daring yet so grounded. This fragrance feels like a little romance in a bottle, and I couldn’t resist bringing it home.

Fun fact: someone in a toilet stall next to me dropped a sample of this and it rolled to my side. I tried giving it back to them but they either didn’t notice or didn’t care, and there was a tiny bit left so... 😗 I’m not familiar with lotus scents but this was sweet and refreshing after a shower!

I love this one but within a couple hours it’s so faint on me! I seem to be an outlier in this regard but it makes me glad I got a decant first to test it out. Love the juicy opening and iris/vanilla dry down, just wish it projected at all and lasted more than 2 hours

Ooh it's nice :) Like the summer version of the Le Parfum. I get some pear in this even though it's not listed in the notes. Beautiful scent and great performance. Unique but not in a weird way - like signature scent, compliment monster type of way :)

For me its a little wonder that this is not on bigger hype around teenagers! Its sweet, sexy and got personality. Its also very strong in all ways. I like it, sometimes even love. Would like to sniff it on others. I personally wear this not so often.

when i saw the notes, I thought i would not like it and skipped over considering it. BUT when i smelled it in person i was so amazed. it smells YUMMY to me. it is hard for me at times to point out exactly what im smelling, but this was it for me.

I love this one. It's spicy somewhat and herbal for me. Well I call it herbal, like a nice and fragrant tea. I can smell the banana, not a lot of vanilla. It's an all seasons scent. You can rock it in summer and winter, day and night.

This is a beautiful and POWERFUL tropical fragrance. I don't get too much vanilla, and it's not your usual fruity-tropical scent. This is an aquatic, floral, sophisticated tropical fragrance, pretty unique.

Ugh I love this perfume so much, it smells like a clean tropical flower with a little bit of cream, it's not tropical and doesn't have that sunscreen smell, lasts all day on me and lingers under my nose

Smells floral and fresh, yet warm, I absolutely love it. It's a scent for everyone and every occasion, can't go wrong. Not too strong, so definitely for everyday use as well.

this is wonderful. reminds me far more of gaultier divine than anything in the la belle line. but it is sweeter than gaultier divine. just a lovely summer scent all around

Opening is pretty much banana but it disappears in the background as it develops. Reminds me of a banana smoothie! The dry down is flowery with a roasted vanilla note.

Sprayed it on my girlfriend in the shop the other day, we both fell in love with it. I keep coming back to it and it is the only "female" perfume I SPRAY ON MYSELF.

Love it. Strong banana in the opening, than aquatic and flirty far more better than Divine by my humble opinion. Shame on limited editions, absolute nonsene
