Ma Dame 2024

Excuse me as this isn't a review. I will also agree with jess_27 and cosmicscents; we need more perfume revivals and we want Miss Dior Cherie and the L'eau version back. Please! I wonder if I'll like this perfume as much as I liked Ma Dame back when I got that tester from my friend years ago. There was a little left in it, but I loved the scent. I'm on the verge of just getting it.. I'm a bit sad the bottle isn't as cool as the original one, but whatever. Also, where is all the hate coming from?

When I saw that JPG was going to remake this, my heart almost exploded! I used to wear the original version in the mid 2000's and it used to be my signature scent. This version is pretty similar but not the same. Unfortunately they removed the grenadine from the formulation, which used to give that juicy fruity vibe. It is a bit more toward rose now, and the vinyl note is still there. Enormous lasting power! I apply this in the morning and it lasts me until the evening before taking a shower.

Can't wait it's been a long overdue come back - as I've even baught out the last of the 2009 version Inspired ones and tested over a 100 other Fragrances claiming to be similar too it with no joy. There is nothing like it out there and it surely turns heads when worn and also my husband absolutely loves it - so I'm so happy and can't wait till it's here again. The best ever yay yay yay 😄

I just can't wait, this is so emotional moment for me. People know me know it was my signature scent for years.

Rose, anis, honey, flowery. Gives me depilatory cream vibes. Also baby wipes vibes. Quite clean, cosmetic. It is okay, but nothing special for me. Now smelling it the second time after a long break, it gives me lots of orange at the top. Very zesty, green.

Reminds me of one of the new Gucci Floras.. it’s fresh, it’s meh. Rose is very mild here but you get a lot of musk.

Well what can I say. I read the description and the reviews and thought id give it a blind buy whirl. Being a huge fan of JPG fragrances I felt sure this would be a hit. It is a strange smell, one that my fella described as freshly cut wood. That freahly cut wood smell was dominant throughout and unlike other fragrances, this one just didn't seem to fade. I hope it will grow on me, I cannot see it being a crowd pleaser, it is more aligned to some pine floor cleaner, or at least it is on me. Oh well....it is not the end of the world.

Does this smell like the original?? I really hope so. I've got 3 bottles of original madam, and 2vof the intense version in the black purply bottle. But I'm scared to use them. When I do, it's literally a very careful spritz and I'll wipe the spray until I get all the scent I can even from that. Pathetic I know. I will try this version now I'm excited to see it's a relaunch. Definitely one of my most favourite JPGs. Omg yesss

Now, Dior see the clever marketing representatives at Jean Paul Gaultier know what they are doing and listening to their loyal customers and bringing back their classic best-selling fragrances. A little hint house of Dior bring back Miss Dior Cherie.

As a JPG devotee and a lover of Miss Dior Chérie (as well as the original Dior Homme formulation), I just wanted to second @jess_27's sentiments. And also to send up a prayer for a Fleur du Male re-release. 🙏🏾

I've got this version it's retailing for £79 100ml, thanks JPG for not doubling the price 😆 Exactly same as the old Ma Dame, that synthetic gorgeous neon grenadine note is there!

There is a neon note in here isn't there! It's a kind of synthetic orangey green smell mixing in with the musky rose. I do like this, but I remember liking the original more.

Got mine!! Opening is slightly bitter orange peel (which I love), then the quirky sweetness of grenadine. Dry down is musky ++ but airy with a slightly green rose.

Where can I get this? The only place I see has this online is the JPG website. Is there some other store that sells it? I’m located in Europe btw (Sweden).

Yes!!! I love this fragrance. I see a trend coming of re-launching fragrances, maybe we can get to make them all do this and bring back all the good stuff.

My grandma had the OG of this one and i remember i adored it and hoped she would gift it to me😅 But of course she wanted to keep it❤️ Such a beauty🥰

Would love for them to bring back Fragile as well. There was never anything quite like it. And it has a beyond iconic bottle design.

As a fan of the original fragrance, I can say that this version is satisfactorily similar, despite not having the grenadine note.

don't complain, they will recreate the same smell even if they have to use different ingredients.
