Scandal Pour Homme Intense

Got a free sample of this when I bought Polo 67 EDP. This is fantastic, made me realize that I really like sweet fragrances. Strong sillage and projection, strong longevity. First spray it really reminded me of 1 Million Parfum, of course not the same but how it was both bubblegum sweet and kinda fresh at the same time. And sure enough Quentin Bisch worked on both. At this point I could throw a dart at anything he's worked on at random and I'll probably love it. I think this is kinda sweet and fresh actually, on a cool summer day you could definitely wear this with moderate sprays, it's not a heavy sticky sweetness, it's more aromatic and uplifting. Not getting a lick of vetiver though so not sure what's that about. But bubblegum aromatic with lots of sweetness and a leather base. Very nice. It has a lot of lift and excitement. Where I live majority of summer is relatively cool so I could wear this all year round. More of a going out fragrance though, would not wear this to the post-office, but you could, there's no rules really.

Scandal Intense is by far the most versatile in the line and from what I’ve seen is super underrated and totally slept on. This is simply the Scandal DNA made fresher and more aromatic giving it a versatility that the others don’t quite have. I think many missed the point of this release and as a result it sadly gets negative reviews or is just plain ignored. This smells so good and is perfect for every day wear while retaining the signature scent profile of the line with just enough sweetness without being overpowering or cloying in my opinion. The leather note in here is actually very light and doesn’t clash with the other notes at all. This didn’t get much attention when it was first released and still seems to be largely overlooked, but it’s worth checking out if you want something fresh and sweet but not too sweet to wear out as a daily driver. The blending in this is very smooth and it leaves behind a very noticeable sillage. All in all an excellent release which deserves more hype.

You cannot buy anything at the grocery store with 5 dollars these days, let alone a fragrance, enough with it ! And comparing Scandal EDP Intense with, say, a 15 bucks clone that one could buy at the supermarket is simply ridiculous. Otherwise, if you like the caramel note put on the top of a modern fougere DNA, you'll enjoy any Scandal, if you don't, you won't, it's that simple. From the EDT, that has the most prominent caramel note, to this Intense version, that has the most subtle caramel note, and passing through the Le Parfum version, that is the most balanced one, this is what you get - a Sauvage with caramel in it instead of peppery bergamot. Even the dry down is similar, though the notes are different. Easy to wear, almost dumb reach, very good longevity/projection, all seasons (yes, even in summer), acceptably synthetic, slightly less expensive than Sauvage.

Scandal Intense has an aromatic woody sweet opening with a touch of Leather, but it's very subtle. I also got a few whiffs of Tonka Bean and Cardamom in the opening The longevity is very good, it lasts approximately 12 hours on my skin. This fragrance projects great with about a 6 ft radius for the first hour, and a skin scent after. (Depends on skin types ) Overall Rating (8,5/10) In my honest opinion, it's a redundant release if you already own the previous Scandal flankers. It's not really a leather fragrance, but more of a "fresher/aromatic" version of the original Scandal. If you have performance issues; make sure you buy from a safe source

Does not smell like imperial valley. Regardless, extremely nice. Masculine. Aromatic at the forefront but soft and smooth due to the leather and Vetiver supporting each other. Not too sweet and not too powdery. It’s got that Quentin 0.1% metallic signature (can’t describe it any other way). Must try will likely buy since it’s quite a unique fragrance and doesn’t smell classically designer after the opening fades. The only way it should be compared with Imperial Valley is the fact that it smells fresh yet it’s using non-fresh notes like leather. No animalic notes that I get.

No clue why the rating for this is so low, maybe too little people have voted, anyway this scent starts off with a really nice aromantic aura, I wouldn’t say it’s an edible scent as youd smell from scandal absolu but it is definitely up there in the scandal lineup. it’s a nice everyday wear (even in the summer, just not the really hot days.) and it makes an impact. Scent: 8/10 Projection: 7/10 Longevity: 8.5/10 (same as scandal absolu) Overall I’d give it a nice 9/10

Fucking beautiful scent. It definitely has vanilla or some sort of sweet notes (tonka or caramel) so don’t get discouraged by the notes not being related to sweetness. It definitely has a leathery side to it, but it’s really toned down and it smells like it was made for women to like and not to be unique tho. Sillage and longevity are strong, specially the sillage, you can fill a room with 3+ sprays. Don’t overspray this PLEASE.

This is the best one of JPG Scandal line! Warm, sweet, leathery! I just cant get enough smelling it. It lasts long about 6-8 hours, but projects moderately. I could smell it on my clothes couple of days after. The first day I put it on I received about 10 compliments, people were asking me what fragrance are you wearing. Whoever is in doubt, JUST BUY IT! You wont regret! You can wear it all year around. AMAZING SCENT!

Got this for my bf and I have to say it's the most irresistible scent. It's sweet and aromatic, initially I didn't get any leather, but I think you can detect traces in the dry down. The whole house smells like a warm, masculine hug, you know? I can't explain it, but iykyk There's something super comforting about it. I think this is gonna be very popular.

This has the lovely Scandal DNA (like all other flankers) and it leans a little feminine to me in the beginning. More so than the EDT. In the dry down it gets more masculine and similar to Le Parfum. It's pretty good, but I'm bored of the Scandal line. As an owner of the Le Parfum, I don't feel the need of getting another one. They're all so similar.

Whoever says this smells anything like Imperial Valley by Gissah and any other perfume sharing a similar DNA needs to get their nose checked or simply they just didn't test this fragrance. This is an intense version of the OG. It shares the same scent profile and longer lasting on my skin.

Most reviewers find it boring but I think that is one of the best of the line along with le parfum, and also the most masculine of all but still has that youthful profile. Such an underrated flanker

this smells really good. It opens super aromatic, and it leans more toward a suede vibe instead of a typical leather smell. the vetiver isn’t the smoky kind either, more of a clean vetiver.

So damn good, very playful sweet fruity opening, i didn't find any leather on it i get more like white floral based, so I don't know what the main accords taking about, anyway i love it

One of the more masculine JPG's. This fragrance uses the base of original Scandal, adds subtle leather and cuts the dose of caramel and tonka. Yes it is WAY better than the original EDT, yes the scent quality is much improved but both Parfum and Absolu added more to this line. This fragrance is more of a ''Justice finally done to the original'' scent. I wish they would discontinue the original EDT formula and release this as new formula instead of giving a new release. Good performance too. If you think you would love the original EDT better with more vetiver + added leather with less synthetic sweetness you can check this one. If you have Absolu or Parfum I say you should stick with them. 7.5/10

Design and bottle: Very cool cap design, the 100ml bottle can be somewhat clunky as theres no good way to hold it. Good atomizer. Scent: Leathery and aromatic with a nice woody and earthy base. The clary sage gives the whole deep leather scent a lift and makes it very enjoyable. In store this was amazing, my own bottle is slightly less impressive but it might be due to not having the same maturation. Great daily wear that ive gotten multiple compliments for. Overall: Solid 8/10, if you like a masculine leather fragrance this is great, it works well as a safe pick, im unsure about the performance in heat, but in cold weather this is great.

It smells different from other scandals, it offers clean, little creamy sweetness, smooth leather, and an aromatic scent profile. The first thing that came to my mind was a washed-clean blanket, and I asked my friend, and he said the same thing. I tested this on my skin 4 times, and it lasted 7-8 hours. I believe that it can be used in the office, or on any casual day in the autumn and winter. For my taste, it is not enough for a night out and a date, the name ''intense'' contradicts with the smell profile, it is not intense enough to be called intense, but of course, for other tastes it can be intense enough.

I like it, it's a decent fragrance. Not very leathery at all on my skin. It just smells like sweet woods and a slight aromatic touch. Maybe it's my skin but I really do not get the leather as a base note. It's similar to the original Scandal. Performance is very good as you'd expect. Absolu is way, way better and more interesting IMO.

It's like a mixture between Pegasus (Parfums De Marly) and 1 Million (Paco Rabanne), imagine a young man in his early 20's liking and wearing 1 million, when he grows up and becomes more mature in his 30's he likes and wears this one. I would personally find it likable on a man, but not love it. Not very memorable. Easy to forget

I tested this a couple of weeks ago, what I remember is that isn't that different from the other Scandal bottles, maybe is more on the soapy cleaner side, slightly more laundry like, still smells like Scandal.

These notes with the new releases... Either this will have ''hidden'' notes or designer perfumery is over in 2025. I will personally wait for Boss or Guerlain to save this year.

IDK why it is so hated on. For me, its the best JPG frag. Could be do it all, everyday frag. Quite fresh & not sticky sweet like others. I consider it good frag : )

Well the one thing I will say about this Intense Edp is it is very redundant. My roommate bought it and yes it smells like the Edt but a tad bit better and leather 😆 nope just Scandal. I already had the Scandal Edt that was good at first but weak and got boring fast. I finally caved in and bought Scandal Absolu now that was 100x better then caved in and bought Scandal Le Parfum that was 1000x better than the Edt and different enough than Scandal Absolu. My roommate bought this Scandal Intense and ya it smells like Scandal Le Parfum but not as sweet and fruity caramel like Le Parfum but smells like a more stronger Edt with something that is trying to smell like leather and is trying to accomplish that and never does right down to the end of its life span. Save your money 💰 if you buy any of the Scandal Line me personally I would just get = 1. Scandal Absolu. 2. Scandal Le Parfum. 3 Scandal Elixir (the very best one i like the cherry 🍒). Don't waist your money on the Edt weak Sillage weak Performance and don't waist your money on Scandal Intense because it tries to be like Scandal Le Parfum and fails. Making it REDUNDANT.

Scandal Pour Homme Intense is a fruity, sweet, and woody fragrance. The opening has a sweet, fruity, bubblegum scent, although no fruit notes are listed. As the minutes pass, a herbal and earthy aroma begins to emerge amidst the sweetness, which I attribute to vetiver. It's also quite possible that it contains some tonka bean and sage, but the leather note, which is listed, is not prominent or noticeable, at least not on my skin or on the blotter. Like almost the entire Scandal Pour Homme line, this fragrance is also geared towards cooler weather, such as autumn and winter, and even the first month of spring. It would be a bad idea to wear it on warm days. I find it appealing to a youthful to mature audience and almost unisex. Its longevity has been good on my skin, lasting more than 9 hours with a noticeable sillage. It's not a fragrance that personally amazes me; it smells nice and pleasant, but it doesn't offer any substantial change compared to the other fragrances in this line. However, that's a personal and subjective opinion, so I invite you to try it and form your own opinion.

Its pretty much ``what if scandal pour homme EDT was mostly aromatic and slightly leathery?`` and it fails , like the clary sage is visible and so is the vetiver and leather(should be labelled as cashmere really) but for something called intense , it turns to a skin scent fast and if it doesnt its barely noticeable nor ``SCANDALOUS`` as the line entitles itself, even the femme version does a slightly better job even tho it ends up being a simple white floral more on the side of grape candy or whatever , will say tho even after a shower with shower oil the scent is still on my skin , its a skin scent obvi but the clary sage cashmere combo is nice but sadly thats all it is , a skin scent.

This is a very confusing fragrance for me. The Leather and Vetiver make this very manly, but as soon as the sage hits, it seems very feminine. I don't think the average male or female would be a good candidate to wear this. It doesn't seem quite unisex but I think this is more for those people who lean slightly opposite of their gender. I will work through my sample eventually, but I think this is a very out of place release and I'm not a fan.

in the opening it does have something like a warm almond, but this is changing into leather in the dry down, its similar to Gucci Guilty Elixer but to this one the leather touch comes from the molecule Ambrofix, JPG is more round but less punchy then Guilty. JPG is not a beast mode while Guilty Elixer is very strong. if you like leather scents, this can be a love to you.

This is a bang average Scent not awful but not great either so avoid blind buying as I did. I dont get the leather note as stated in the notes breakdown so if it is there its hardly noticeable by my nose. If your thinking of getting a Scandal fragrance then get the Scandal Absolu Pour Homme in a gold bottle as its the best one I've smelt.

6 to 8 hours on my skin. I don't get any leather note... It must be my skin , i don't know... The problem for me is that it reminds me of Mancera Instant Crush and why i hate that frag. For the moment I will keep it and give it another try. In EU it's already available in the DutyFree shops.

Kinda underwhelming. It doesn’t have a prominent leather note, and kinda just smells like a more toned down Le parfum. There’s also a funky note creeping around that ruins it for me. The absolu will forever be my favorite, and that’s the only one I’d recommend from the scandal line.

All of the entries from the Scandal pour Homme line have disappointed me so far. The original Scandal pour Homme lacked smoothness and was simply a mishmash of synthetic sweetness, Scandal pour Homme Le Parfum toned down that synthetic edge a bit, but still failed to impress me in terms of scent, and Scandal pour Homme Absolu left me down due to its disappointing performance and short-lived delicious opening. Simply put, none of them are worthy of wearing the crown and occupying the throne. But now we've got another contestant, Scandal pour Homme Intense, which can either save the Scandal line for me (nothing left to save, really), or it can join its cousins in the pit of shame... Immediately upon spraying, the OG DNA comes upfront - synthetic sweetness. The clary sage brings that sweet, herbaceous, floral, and musky mishmash, which isn't necessarily bad on its own, just lacks balance. The synthetic undertone which is the signature accord of the line and on which all of the notes are built upon just kills it for me. Also, I do get some slight hints of some creamy tonka bean in the opening, which appears to be more and more prominent as things dry down. As minutes pass by, the synthetic aura takes a slight step back, making way for even more prominent tonka bean sweetness, while the vetiver mildly shows up. It adds a dry and woody aroma to the composition, but it's hardly earthy, which is one of the key accords of vetiver, meaning that there's not much vetiver in here, really. Frankly, you really got to dig through the scent to just get the slightest of that unmistakable vetiver aroma, which here is quite cheap and as "safe" and bland as it gets. But you know what else you don't get a lot of in here? Leather. When I initially saw Scandal pour Homme Intense added in leather, I admit, my expectations rose a nudge. I adore leather, and I hoped that this would finally be the ingredient that might save whatever's left of the Scandal pour Homme line for me. But boy, was I wrong. The leather here is some of the faintest, most subtle, softest, mildest, barest leather that I've smelt in a fragrance. There might be something which reminds of leather, but hardly so, and it appears like 10-15 minutes after spraying. Let me be clear, though: there's little development here. The syntheticness dissipating a bit since the start gives you the feeling that there's development underway, but really, everything smells very similar from start to finish. There's no story being told, nor much quality at the door. On a more positive note, longevity here is excellent, at least on my skin. I get a minimum of 12 hours, with some cases reaching even 15 hours, which makes it the Scandal with the best longevity on my skin. Of course, by those marks, all I sense is a very faint, warm leather woodiness, which frankly, I much prefer over the loud synthetic-sweet opening. As for projection, I got about 2 feet for the first hour, settling down to about a 1 foot bubble for the next few hours, and reaching a skin scent somewhere around the 5 hour mark. Not bad at all. With occasions, Scandal pour Homme Intense pretty much falls in the same bowl as most of its cousins - partying and clubbing. It can definitely work as a daily too, or even for evening dates. But honestly, I would never recommend this or any of the other fragrances from the Scandal line to someone over 25 years old. Even though Scandal pour Homme Intense will be seen as the more "mature" Scandal purely because of that misleading leather in the notes pyramid, it's still very clearly aimed towards the younger demographic. The whole line has that youthful edge, mainly because of that synthetic sweet combo and that weird "bad boy" vibe I get from the Scandal line as a whole. So, it's another unfortunate candidate. The scent resembles the Le Parfum flanker quite closely, which is definitely not something I missed, and the leather is not really there, which adds to my disappointment furthermore. However, I'm more disappointed in myself for having any sort of expectations from this. The only pros here, in my opinion, are the performance and the marketing. This (and the whole Scandal lineup) is clearly dedicated and marketed towards the youth, teenagers, Gen Z, etc. So in the end, if the fragrance finds its right fanbase (and it will, since anyone more invested in perfumery and niche will stay away from this), then it will also find plenty of success. That's pretty much all most companies care for these days. Nonetheless, I think Scandal pour Homme Intense concludes it for me - the Scandal line is not for me. It never was and it will never be. I can't see the relation between this and Gissah's Imperial Valley. This is missing the absolute monstrosity of an amber base that is Imperial Valley's cornerstone and where its copycats start building from. And disappearing less than 5 hours on my skin while being labeled Intense is laughably pathetic. 🤣

I don't think it's good, it has a synthetic coconut scent, you can smell Scandal DNA. It's like CH Bad Boy Elixir, Hugo Boss The Scent Elixir. Absolu is my favorite. It doesn't last long. I don't recommend it to anyone.

Got this as a free sample when I bought TF Bois Pacifique. It reminds me a bit of something I tested before, maybe a YSL, but first impressions is that this is too feminine for me, not a pour Homme fragrance IMO.

I get a lot of citrus in the opening which reminds me of Superz. Tenerife. Pretty underwhelming scent and badly made, especially for the scandal line. No creativity and no uniqueness

Stinks something sour asf atleast to my nose. I do not like it at all. I do have the le parfum version and it does not smell alike. At all..

In the last few years, JPG has been consistently releasing some incredible fragrances. However, in terms of creativity and scent profile, the Scandal Pour Homme line seems to be their weakest. This new 2025 Intense flanker opens up a bit sweet and aromatic and then has a dry and slightly woody earthiness. The leather is noticeable after the first few minutes, but becomes more prominent as the fragrance dries down. As per usual, the performance depends a lot on the person, but most people are getting around 7-8+ hours, with moderate projection for the first 4-5 hours. The leather note thankfully adds a bit of depth to an otherwise mainstream fragrance. Due to the lack of overpowering sweetness along with the aromatic opening, the scent itself ends up being quite versatile, but still mainly for fall/winter. It doesn’t have the rich and decadent sweetness that JPG is known for, easily making this the most mature flanker in the Scandal line. The opening is a bit confusing because you get these strong aromatics, but then you also get this interesting undertone of some slightly bitter citrus along with a hint of sweetness. It still smells really high quality, but for a designer fragrance, it seems to lack that last bit of balance and finesse. Overall, for a more mature JPG fragrance, the lack of refinement is somewhat surprising, so I can’t recommend paying full retail for a bottle, but it’s still worth testing because it does add a unique option and an unique twist to the Scandal DNA. Overall score: 7/10

Honestly guys, I think this fragrance is a masterpiece, the first time I smelt this immediately got addicted to it, the opening note of clary sage is invigorating and warm woody and masculine, the EDT version was always just average for me it was too sweet and it feels like it was made specifically for teenage boys, I dont like the EDT. However the Le Parfum and Intense are a whole different story. I also really like the Le Parfum version, but the intense smells a bit better to me due to the leather note. A friend had bought this and as soon as I smelled it I was like im buying this, and 3 days after I went ahead and bought it. Scandal intense is just wonderful, amazing winter fragrance, I do 6 to 7 sprays and it lasts 10 to 12 hours on my skin. Overall if you want a more masculine, more fresh, more special version of the original, go ahead and get this one, you won't be dissapointed. MYSTERIOUS, DARK, SCANDALOUS WINTER SEDUCTIVENESS AND MAGIC. Overall rating: 10/10 Longevity:9/10 Projection:8/10 Bottle Design:1000/10
