This is the child of Love Chopard with Baccarat Rouge. The opening is a little bit outdated and woodsy, but the dry down is wonderful.

Pop Delight 03 Jean-Louis Scherrer is a spicy floriental. To my nose, the most dominant notes are Rose and Oud. It smells something like the whiffs you get when you pass by an Arabian perfume store at the mall. It's well rounded and mature, so if you're a celebrity scents' admirer, please skip this one. I also have to mention that the bottle is nice. It feels expensive and sturdy. I bought it blind at TK Maxx because I previously owned the beautiful Jean-Louis Scherrer 2 and because I found it on clearance for £7. It's not groundbreaking but 2 days in and I'm enjoying it so far.

Natural smelling (in the best sense), elegant rose/oud, ‘French’ interpretation of middle eastern theme. Stunningly affordable.

For me it's similar to the arabian perfume Afnan Supremacy in Oud but here the composition is more feminine and you can smell the rose also. Typical oriental, arabic perfume no matter that is french brand and production. If you like the combination of roses and oud, you'll like it.

Oh the oud is overpowering in this one. Nothing ‘pop’ about it. It’s an acquired taste, beautifully androgynous. Better to try before you buy
