Amore Mio Gold N' Roses

It smells kinda like a mix of frangelico and marshmallows to me. I honestly can't tell any notes apart, it's just a gorgeous powdery soapy vanilla. I agree with the review bellow that calls it a vintage smell, it very much is, but, personally, I love it. It just works on my skin and I'd easily award it the title of best perfume in the amore mio line. It's clean, fluffy, feminine and perfect for everyday wear.

Tout d'abord j'adore le flacon jardin d'Eden en forme de pomme avec le bouchon serpent de cette gamme Amore mio. Pour celui-ci la boîte de couleur doré est un peu too much, mais la bouteille reste très jolie. Je l'ai d'abord testé au Leclerc et me suis dit : "Pas pour moi, c'est un oriental gourmand, il sent la guimauve, je ne prends pas. " Mais je n'ai pas arrêté de sniffer le poignet où je l'avais mis, et j'ai finalement craqué, sans culpabilité vu le prix. Oui, il sent la guimauve, mais ce n'est pas l'overdose de sucre, j'aime bien en mettre un peu sur le poignet et le sentir de temps en temps, c'est réconfortant, beaucoup de douceur régressive. Toujours des trouvailles à faire dans cette marque. Amore mio : I love the bottle garden of Eden with the apple and the snake, box gold too much. I tested it in supermarket and said : no, it's marshmallow, it's sweet, not for me. But i can't stop smell it, and i bought it, this perfumes are very unexpensive. Yes, it's marshmallow, but not too sugar, il wear it on the arm and smell it, it's comforting, regressive. Always little treasures by Jeanne Arthes. Sorry for my language.

La salida es horrible, medicinal como dicen los comentarios anteriores. Huele entre un jarabe y chicle de vainilla, algo plástico y sintético. En primeras pensé que fue un error de compra a ciegas. Luego de secar media hora se vuelve más tolerable. Es perfume de día, casual y de niña buena. No empalaga. Se siente que hay algo dulce ahí pero sin gran estela. Me dura unas 3 horas, después queda solo al ras de la piel. Definitivamente no lo pondré en mis perfumeros para llevar y replicármelo en la calle, porque de nuevo, la salida es horrible... que dure lo que dure! Update: huele amargo, como cuando por accidente sientes el sabor del shampoo... así de amargo. No lo siento gourmand. Vanille sa pomme es más barato y mejor.

Por el precio que tiene me ha encantado, para mi es un perfume de naranja dulce( por la vainilla y el algodón de azúcar) y licorosa, (será el anís) , duración y proyección aceptable, no parece un perfume tan barato, totalmente recomendable y la botella una monada

Very nice dupe for Love don't be shy. I don't get any anise though. Just sweet rose with tonka and marzipan with some sugar and citrus, a bit of orange blossom shines through too. Light but surprisingly good sillage

I am a little bit confused by this one. I can smell marzipan if I get the bottle close to my nose, even tho there is no marzipan in the notes. On my skin at first smells like syrup, so medicinal... However, later on, it smells better but a little bit weird. If you like this one I'd gladly gift you my bottle!

To me it smells like a cousin to any perfume from the 80's mixed with wonderbaum vanilla. It has some kind of barbiehead and retro handsoap smell vibe to it.

I could smell it even before I opened the box, it has a very soapy kind of smell. I don’t get any associations to Love, Don’t Be Shy at all. There’s a lot of vanilla and anise though, it’s very dominant in the scent. It reminds me of my grandmother’s hand soap when I was younger (‘90s). I think it’s a very unique smell, not bad at all. It’s just a little too intense for me, it is quite powdery/dusty and soft smelling, and anise heavy. I would not say this is a safe blind buy, gives off vintage hand soap vibes. I also agree with the comment under me, I think the anise makes it a little bitter too and kind of medicinal.

I don't know if the tester actually got rotten in the store, but I didn't like this fragrance. Dusty (not powdery) and spicy marshmallows. Anise is all I smell after the opening. Too overpowering. At least, performance seems to be good.

Extremely medicinal. If you like Dior Hypnotic Poison you might like this one - it’s not as thick but it shares that root beer smell with HP and Acqua di Parma Mandorlo Di Sicilia and Jimmy Choo Flash. So add the root beer from those to the Marshmallow and orange blossom from love don’t be shy and you have Gold and Roses.

Yummy powdery marshmallows. Sweet, nice and playful. Long-lasting.
