Boum Candy Land

So, its been almost 3 years since I first bought it. I wanted a sweet perfume, that could serve as a dupe for Tommy hilfinger pear blossom (the BEST whipped cream note ever,sadly discontinued), and possibly also scratch my itch for how prada candy made me feel in high-school. Sprayed the bottle with reckless abandonment, wore it non stop for like 2 months (with the amount of perfume I have, that is unusual), wore it on dates, had men basically roll their eyes back over it (insane). About halfway, I started worrying I'd run out (insane, it cost like 5 euros. I can afford that). I ended up buying prada candy(for cheap) Don't hate me, but I use it not wanting to run out of this one, because I prefer this. Upon realising this, I came here to write this review. This scent is great, absolutely worth the cost. Its a warm and soft scent, with those delicious milk and caramel notes. Those show up on me the strongest, and I like those the best. Longevity is pretty decent. Bottle survives being tossed around in my bag. Not too sweet or headachy, I don't get pink sugar vibes, just milk and caramel. Love it in fall and winter, love it in general. Going to repurchase bc it's insane to not want to finish a bottle that's still less then 10 euros.

mmmm... toffee!! Loving that toffee aroma. toffee, milky cotton candy, vanilla, sandalwood --all of my favorites! I really love how there's an actual cotton candy note in this. It's very sweet, indeed. But I am so surprised how cheap this is, cause it could become one of my favorites, easily. The lasting power isn't so great. but that's to be expected. This is another really good Jeanne Arthes fragrance. I'm a big fan of Sexy Me No1, Private room, and more! I used to have the Boum Vanille and was not as impressed, as it was more so apple and carnival sweet smelling. This is also sort of false advertising. I'm not really getting candy, but sweet desserts! Very foody, indeed. Once this dries down, it's sooo lovely. Maybe some might find it juvenille, but i don't care! milky, toffee, cotton candy and vanilla goodness! This is right up my alley! And I recommend it to those w ho aren't sure. If you like gourmands, you can't go wrong. This is also quite unique smelling, that's also why I love it. The bottle is kinda tacky, but i kind of like the purple color of the bottle! Yayy! Very pleased with this!

Love love love this. One of the excellent cheapies, great scent for great value and good amount. It's a go perfume, you spray it anytime during the day. Sure it doesn't last long, but the gentle sweet smell after hours is still there and when you hug someone or you're just close, they compliment it. Honestly idk where's the toffee in there, but there's definitely the og orbit chewing gums scent (the pink tutti frutti ones), then just candy and sweets, cotton candy marshmallows and something like wannabe- fruits, maybe little spring of orange and apple. Smells fresh and sweet at the same time, powdery and gourmand, little bit of lactonic. I just love it. It's cheap, yes, but it's beyond what you can expect for such a price, I just love it. Reminds me of just a bit more expensive perfume- Hollister festival nite.

I got this fragrance very cheap, for 5 euros. Picked it up because I love milk in my perfumes, it feels very cuddly and warm. This fragrance... I've worn it almost every single day since I got it 4 months ago. I don't want to run out? On a rainy day I got complimented in public transport, telling me I smelled like vanilla, soo good. I did not realize it was me with that sillage, although I did smell it. Lasts for hours on me personally. A love. Sillage is normally close, but that would be the rainy day effect. Its not a "you have to touch me to smell me" sort of scent, but if you aren't close to eachother you won't smell it. When giving friends a hug they tell me I smell nice. They don't usually comment on my perfume(they dont care for perfume), so that's a big compliment. Tldr: recommend

Oh my God, I love this so so much! <3 I do not own the original bonbon -just the bonbon couture, for which I can attest that these two aren't similar.Boum is so beautiful and yummy, soft, creamy and lovely,, with delicate puffs of perfume projecting softly from your skin, like a caress <3 It also reminds me sth from my childhood - some miniature rubbery plastic scented babies, that smelled soooo nice, and in my late thirties I was so reminiscent of their lovely scent. Well, boum candy is very close to that and I love it even more for that !

It reminds me of 1 of Ralph Lauren’s perfume back in 2000s - Ralph Hot. It’s a nice perfume to be worn at any time. It’s toffee and black currant is outstanding to my nose. The weather in Malaysia is hot and humid, somehow this perfume is OK for this climate. I wear this to work & also casual events. Jeanne Arthes indeed is a luxurious parfume at affordable price. Love it! ♥️

On me, more mature than the design would suggest, like the other Boum fragrances. Thankfully, the vanilla in it is of the woodier persuasion, less candy-sweet than the name would imply. It also takes a back seat to milky sandalwood with just a bit of currant and caramel. The overall effect is a comforting one, but not childish.

ace! sweet but somehow more serious and complex than it's brother sweet lollipop (another fav). notes are well blended so that it's not easy to point out one (t least to my nose/skin chemistry), nonetheless it's super nice during cold days, it really warms me up. beautiful purple bottle.

This perfume surprised me with how identical it is to Bonbon by Viktor&Rolf. However, it's now 8 months in, and the alcohol scent is way too strong for me. It actually overpowers the sweetness of the perfume to me. It feels more like a FFM than a perfume.

This is a BonBon dupe, they are near identical. For under £10 this is an absolute winner even if longevity could be better. I don’t find BonBon that long wearing either so like other reviewers I’d say get this one instead.

I'm obsessed with this. Got it for like $10 on pharmapacks and figured if I didn't like it I could always give it away...however I love it and it has quickly become one of my favorite fragrances (and I love the price!)

Candyland is gorgeous! It's very similar to Bonbon, I just wish it had the same longevity! Otherwise I'd buy 10 bottles of it being so well priced compared with Bonbon. I also like the cute bottle

Smells amazing ! , very soft (kinda reminds me of coconut soft) , sweet toffee with a very light touch of freshness. I can detect fruits but not really a specific one, more like it smells fruity.

This perfume smells so nostalgic and sweet, love the ingredient combination it gives a clean and fresh feel! For the price I think it's a good catch eventho it doesn't last long!

Smells somewhat fruity, just beautiful and sweet, after some time just gives candies. I love it!!

A happy blind-buy for me, but my sister hates it. We have some common "loves" but also a few polarizing opinions and this is definitely one of the latter. I have to say I enjoy the nondescript (to me) rubbery sweetness of this perfume, specially as it dries down. The opening is very floral and fresh, not amazing but I found it very refreshing in hot weather. It only takes a few minutes to blend with my skin and create a sort of dreamy, fantasy scent. I agree with the similarities to Bonbon: they dry down identically, but to me they are still worlds apart as far as quality of the scent profile goes. If Bonbon is a gourmand, to me Candy Land isn't; this is so artificial it reminds me of virtually nothing - and that's where the fantasy element comes in: the absence of edible / realistic notes really send imagination in a different direction; it brings pastel colors to mind, fluffy clouds and candy castles, fairy tales and sweet dreams. It is such a fresh and uplifting sweet floral, dreamy scent. I enjoyed it a lot during spring and summer. I don't intend to buy this again as I prefer other scents, but for the price point it is an amazing dupe for V&R Bonbon.

This smells like Bon Bon with the Britney Fantasy fragrant vanilla, and it dries down creamy-musky, not woody or simply sugary, like Pink Sugar. Could be the European Sweet Like Candy/Fantasy if it wasn't so faint! I have to overspray to get any staying power. Strangely enough, though I don't feel any sillage- it is there, and I always get a ton of compliments. A male supermarket cashier actually held the line one time, while I was looking on my phone for photos of the perfume. It is that feminine and adorable! Not cloying or toothache sweet at all, just very tasty and floral-feminine at the same time. I can definitely feel the super sweetened orange blossom apart from the vanilla. It is a surprisingly complex fragrance for such a cheapie, and again, it would be a great product if it wasn't so damn short-lasting! I got this as a blind buy and would love to try other perfumes, such as Sultane Nuit Fatale, but I fear they'll be as quick fading as this one.

I am sorry I was unfair to you when I said you smell very cheap and synthetic. I am starting to be afraid of that I am judging perfumes based on it's pricetag since I started sniffing expensive designer fragrances and I really hope it's not the case becouse if it is, I'm going to be really mad about myself. That's just stupid and unffair. Whenever I sniff the bottle of JA Candyland I actually immediately think "well, that smell really nice". I don't know how Bon Bon smells like or if Candyland is supposed to be a dupe. All I know is this one smells very girly, it's not sophisticated fragrance but its very nice, sweet fruits with hint of milky toffee. I couldn't pick it at first but now toffee is definitely here, but not all the time. Only sometimes you will notice it. For the price it's a very nice fragrance for young girls who like sweet scents Oh and I should also mention that the longevity of this is great. It's a good cheapie

It’s pretty much what is says – a candy. Sweet, a bit powdery in the dry down, delightful caramel and vanilla. I even get similar vibes as from Poison Girl Eau de Toilette, only sweeter, with mellow milk and melon notes instead of zesty citruses. When I crave something with caramel in it, it’s a great quick fix. Caramel isn’t in the notes, so it didn’t show up when I searched my wardrobe on Fragratica for perfumes with caramel in them, but then, being called Candy Land it’s a no-brainer when you are in the mood for caramel. Maybe simple and linear, but very enjoyable. Lasts more or less 6 hours – longer on my hair and clothes. Doesn’t hold a candle to its sister Boum Vanille Sa Pomme d’Amour in this department. Still, fun and affordable. The bottle boosts my mood just by looking like a purple lollipop.

I reviewed this when I got it, think I deleted it, maybe it got downvoted, who knows? ANYWAY... This smells SUPER CLOSE to Bonbon by Viktor&Rolf, except Bonbon has more of a cedar/resinous dry down (compared to the milky caramel musk in this) and Candy Land has more sticky cotton candy and "body-splash-style" fruit in the opening. There are a few other subtle nuances here and there as well but the resemblance is absolutely uncanny. Initial spray is warm, SUPER sweet pink syrup with citrus rind & tangy black currant, as it softens I get a lot of orange blossom, vanilla, and sandalwood, with a hint of milky caramel and cool, watery melon.
