🌸I was fortunate to find a bottle of this discontinued fragrance on eBay so I gifted it to myself for no reason but to pamper myself. The bottle is so much lovelier in real life. The picture makes the bottle look PLASTIC when in fact it's glass. ✴Jeanne Arthes✴is one of my favorite perfume houses. It's a inexpensive but a very impressionable house. Jeanne Arthes Private room is my all-time favorite fragrance. This perfume comes in 2nd and I am shook. It is absolutely delightful. It does remind me of private room a tiny bit at the bottom base notes. It starts off with a real fragrant 🍍pineapple and grapefruit that Private Room does not have and then it simmers down into the most beautiful 🍮praline and caramel that I can't get enough of. lt is a gourmand in every sense of the word. A yummy scent. It's honestly probably one of the best for me. It's soft and delightful. The box that it comes in is so cute. I love fashion so it suits me. On the back of the box it says" .... "Fitting fashion and a shop Avenue Montaigne, Paris. She is held on the podium as on a pedestal such as a modern-day Pretty Woman. Everybody fusses over her everything must be perfect.. her dress her shoes... her hat. Everything has to be according to her desire exclamation. She is beautiful and plays with her femininity she's independent and determined as her perfume is. Capricieuse is a sweet🍭 and daring fragrance for sexy woman who has personality. The top notes are lively with an alliance of sparkling fruits such as grapefruit pineapple🍍 and black currant then the 🍊orange blossom mix with 🍦vanilla praline and caramel give a sweet sensual and glamorous fragrance". They weren't kidding. This scent is glamorous. I'm so happy I have a full bottle of it now. I've looked over a year for it. It didn't disappoint. 🌷 I do agree it smells a tad like Ellen Tracy Bronze because of the cedar ( which is a note that I can live without) but I enjoy THIS more because the cedar is not as prominent. I really hope Jeanne Arthes brings back these DISCONTINUED perfumes.

Sweet, nutty praline with a soft berry undertone...this is the definition of gourmand fragrance. Just try not to lick your wrist :) Like all Jeanne Arthes fragrances, this one is extremely well blended; to the point my (admittedly amateur) nose can't really pick out the individual notes. It's like the the first whiff you get when you walk into a gourmet candy shop...warm, buttery toffee, nutty pralines, and of course milk chocolate. I don't get any sour or medicinal notes with this at all...I find it lovely from the first spray and all day. I would say its fairly linear, remaining sweet and developing a tad bit of powderiness near the end. Also the packaging and bottle are just adorable... what a find! Love it!

Ok, so i smelled this in my local clothes department store and i just thought it smelled GORGEOUS, warm floral sweet berries and a sexy base of vanilla and caramel. So i picked up a bottle and bought it. It was very priceworthy, only 9 dollars, and thats a 100 ml bottle! It kind of remind me of a juicy coutoure scent, and since i have wanted to buy that one but find it very expensive , this is a great substitute and for a killer price. Totally recommend it, if you like floral gourmand scents. 9/10

The presentation and beauty of the box and bottle alone are breathtaking! The scent actually had me speechless. I am no a grapefruit fan, but this has made me a lover! You smell grapefruit first than pineapple. Then comes the caramel and pralines. It does remind me a bit of Play it Rock by Playboy with its hint of spiciness. I love this so much!!! If you don't have it get it! It is very affordable and quite beautiful with great sillage and lasting power!

This is a very layered scent to me in a great way - You smell praline and vanilla with the currant, and then in sneaks the cedar and sandalwood and when you go back and think about it, a hint of pineapple.....I didn't get even a whiff of grapefruit, which is fine with me! I felt a little sexy and risque wearing it:) An excellent perfume in my opinion:) Liking it, bordering on love.....Actually, I'm just gonna say I love it:)
