Tea Time à Paris Pavlova

Tea Time à Paris Pavlova by Jeanne Arthes perfectly captures what pavlova tastes like. Imagine taking a bite of candied apples, fresh strawberries, vanilla, and whipped cream... For me, this fragrance is realistic. There's no hint of any plastic, synthetic, or artificial scent. Considering how cheap this scent is, the quality is really nice. It's not that long lasting, but I don't have a problem re-applying this throughout the day. I've seen some people compare Tea Time à Paris Pavlova to Burberry Her Elixir. I can see how some people say that. In my opinion, Burberry Her Elixir has a little synthetic, musky, plastic scent to it. This smells more like a strawberry dessert than Burberry Her Elixir. If you're looking to smell like strawberries and cream, Tea Time à Paris Pavlova is the way to go.

What an amazing and juicy scent! Wow. Right away, I catch notes of tangy apples and sweet strawberries. There's a hint of vanilla and a dash of toffee. In the background, you can also detect a subtle touch of rose. But you have to know it's there to notice it (thankfully). It's truly a delightful and summery fragrance. It smells like a deliciously sweet and refreshing drink on a warm summer evening in the garden, in good company. It lasts about 2 hours, which isn't very long, of course. But hey... it really doesn't cost much either. And personally, I can't tell that this is supposed to be a "cheap" perfume. I find the scent absolutely appealing and thoroughly charming and effervescent. I can easily spray this fragrance a couple of times throughout the day if I need it to last longer.

Blind buy. It smells good. Pretty box and bottle. Can only smell when up close. I had high hopes for this perfume since it has all the notes I love. But I can't really smell the strawberry and whipped cream that well. (And the box says Candied apple not toffee so if you don't smell it don't be surprised.) It stays forever on clothes. For this price i am very surprised. Its really more apple than strawberry or anything like that but it's still very cozy. I love re-applaying it it's so good! It smells sweet not sickingly sweet and I honestly think it has a vibe of colder weather, like during winter or fall. It's great for an affordable perfume, bought it off Amazon for around 10 to 11 euros. Other than that it smells really good and comforting.

Wow! For the price just wow. How does it smell like? Think fruit candies. It is a very well rounded fragrance, smooth and without the artificial sharpness that some gourmands have. Also, it should be noted that it passed the overnight test. Meaning that I sprayed it at night and it still stuck around in the morning. I could not really smell it (maybe just very faintly) in the morning, but my husband did. So it seems that this is something some people get anosmic to after a while, but it does last! Projection is moderate.

Pavlova is absolutely addicting! This fragrance is a deep, creamy, tart strawberry. Sweet, but not overly so. The musk grounds the scent so that it does not become syrupy. This has a true strawberry note....not like sweet candy, more like a ripe strawberry. The whipped cream, toffee and vanilla gives it warmth; comforting. If you like creamy, tart, strawberry scents, you will love this.

This does not smell like the new Kayali Marshmallow, I prefer this one much more. This has more fresh strawberry, it is upplifting and fresh although very tart. The Kayali was a big dissapointment to me, it smells more like strawberry tea and is dry will this one is more juicy. If you compare the pricing then this is amazing. I prefer this over Burberry her Elixir as well.

Very affordable and nice my go to perfume. Its this cutesy soft sweet nothing too grazy but like for that nice price its amazing. It is pretty articifial but like I dont really mind it and also one thing that i dont like is that it doesnt really last long max maybe 2 hours but its still nice

Smells just like a strawberry milkshake. It's so so tasty but not overwhelming at all. Even though it's very mild when it comes to lasting power. It's so cheap I don't even care. I drown myself in it no shame

There’s actually no toffee in the top notes on the box it says candy apple so that’s probably why you won’t smell any caramel

Uplifting and happy fragrance. Smells like strawberry bubble gum and dries down to a nice vanilla after a few hours. Love!

Exquisite strawberry with whipped cream scent. Moderate longevity, moderate sillage. Excellent price. Love it.

This smells like strawberry chupa chups! I love it.

Very sweet, candy-like scent that unfortunately does not really resemble Pavlova in any capacity. To me it smells like strawberry Chupa-Chups lollipop - like synthetic strawberry and candy (with a hint of candied apples). Still, it's nice, I don't have many complaints and I quite like it but I was hoping it would be more creamy (with a more noticeable whipped cream note), more like the strawberry & cream Chupa-Chups rather than the strawberry one but oh well. It also isn't very long lasting and the sillage is rather weak. But what can we expect from a scent in this price range? Overall it's a great scent but not exactly what I was looking for. EDIT: I kinda feel like it got creamier with time? I feel like now it actually smells more like strawberry and cream Chupa-Chups? Interesting...

Oh, this is so cute. From the ballerina bottle to the content of strawberry jam with whipped cream! After a while I can smell the toffee too and I’m kinda anosmic to the rest of the notes, but this is enough for me to please my nose. Nothing smells artificial, it’s so pleasant and cake-like! I like this one more than her green sista, which is mainly because of the pear. This is the perfume for a main character in Sofia Coppola’s movie. She just took a bath and wearing this perfume she’s gonna hop here and there around Paris to eat some macrons and buy a bunch of tulips. Bon appétit!

The name makes you have high hopes for this perfume but unfortunately it doesn’t smell like a Pavlova dessert. In fact you barely feel any strawberry. This is mostly apple. That being said, it’s a very pleasant, non offensive cheapie to wear here and there when you don’t want to use your “good” fragrances. Longevity and projection are low-ish. I like it but I’m not sure I would repurchase it. It’s not something unforgettable that you have to have on your collection.

This is a fruitier, slightly more shampoo-y and less vanillic Escada Candy Love. Spring daytime. Casual. Intimate silage. Young, Uncomplicated, Fun & Girly. A sweet-sour juicy green apple is the main star here. Strawberry, Rose, whipped cream & vanilla in the background. For the price, it's a steal. Instant pick-me-up scent. Just, don't expect something creamy, this is mainly sweet, fruity, fresh and a bit sour. For sunny, but not hot, days.

I'm wearing it in bed on a Sunday morning, just to have a happy, sweet little strawberries & cream cloud around me whilst I drink my coffee and contemplate the day. It's so inexpensive that it doesn't matter that it will be washed off in an hour, and replaced with something a little more grown up. For now, it's the smell of childhood sweets, fruity children's bubble bath, and innocence. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
